Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness Literally the worst. Very unprofessional and terrible customer service.

Hired to construct a really big retention wall and mitigate some erosion/drainage issues. There were plenty of roadblocks along the way. Supply issues, labor shortages (covid illnesses), etc. But, they muscled through and the end results are gorgeous! We love our new wall and our new back yard. Special thanks to Rob for all of his hard work and service.

Larry's Garden did a great job on our yard. They replaced our irrigation system and replaced our grass. Our yard looks beautiful now. We highly recommend Larry's Garden.

I spoke with Larry by phone, and he took the time to tell me my issue once I gave him a couple of symptoms. I had some dead spots in the lawn last season and I replaced some of the St. Augustine sod, but it died also before the season was over. Someone said get the soil tested, so I called Larry to get his opinion, and he recommended I treat the lawn for root rot.

Since it was only a couple hundred square feet, he told me the products I needed and how to get them. I'll keep listening on the weekends and enjoying the show. Thanks for the help.have a good season. JayDee

As a former employee of his I would not recommend him at all dont even think about it! He was verbally abusive to me and his employees, he was very racist, didn't give his employees water breaks, he was threatening me and the other employees to take money out of our paychecks because we didn't do something right but he was the one who did it!. after working there for a couple of day I realized I had to leave and working there was a mistake.

He put me in a very dangerous situation and told me to "fucking figure it out". its been 3 weeks since I left and he still hasn't payed me for the time that I worked. When I ask him about it he makes up excuses to not pay me saying I broke stuff I didn't even know he had. He treats one as they are less then him. Sounds professional on the phone but definitely isn't he clames to have 35 years of experience but the stuff he made me do definitely told me otherwise. Dont get any dirt from this guy either he makes the employee take if from an abandoned lot that he dosent own.

This whole company is a scam both to its employees and the paying customers. Larry is an eccentric old man with no knowledge how to run a business or treat employees. all he knows is how to tell you what you wanna hear to get customers to pay him and to get people to work for him. he literally does none of the work whatsoever and doesn't even. train his employees how to do the work either. he tells us to "youtube it". when we don't know what to do.

I've never done irrigation before and my 1st job was installing an entire drainage system for the gutters on the customers home so basically wherever there were downspouts we ran pipes underground from them around the entire home and out to.

He does not deserve to run this business, I had worked for him for one week he had told me and another worker to go kill our selfs and he would make cement shoes and throw us in the ocean to help us out. Then once I quit he wanted to argue about paying me and now I'm missing a check from him and I have all the prove don't trust this guy he will scam you out of your money and everything you request him to do will be late.

He doesn't train his workers either so don't get your hopes up thinking it's gonna look beautiful. Don't go to Larry's garden he's a waste of time, money and your business. Larry I hope your reading this and all your customers are to. Your a coward that expects people to do as they are told without you when teaching any of us. I want my check and you WILL give it to me or your business will be shut down.

Larry and his crew are the best! They transformed my yard and couldn't be more pleased.professional and accountable! Larry was very easy to work with and never tried to take advantage of me when setting a price for each job. I never felt like he was dishonest or trying to nickel and dime me which is why I keep going back to Larry's garden on multiple occasions. I have reccomended his services to a few of my friends and they have also experienced the same professionalism that I have with Larry's Garden.

According to Larry, "ALL Puerto Ricans are the scum of the earth." Those were his exacts words to an employee! Sounds pretty racist to me.

Wall falls have always been my favorite. Peace place. Had one installed by Larry's garden works perfect and now it's a gathering place for the back yard.

I had an over grown landscape and it was tired. I had a design done by larrys garden. They also planted the plants and did the work. What a nice outcome, beautiful. The plants I really like were the maples

I've been working in yards he's there to landscape. Not as knowledgeable as you would think a radio station gardener. He's not good at stone drives or walks. Doesn't plant properly, and plants die. Takes weeks to return if at all. All customers I know that he's worked for say never again. Feels like being robbed without a gun.

They did a awesome job for me they are the best in town I would recommend them to everyone. Thank you so much for the work you done

As a former employee of larrys id have to say hes the worst their is people think their gettimg a good deal but their really getting screwed nothing gets done on time cause he only employees 2 people at a time he constantly slanders yells curses and downgrades all of his employees dosnt wanna pay them and constantly threatens them with pay reduction or termination i just quit larrys today and was told if i came to get paid i would be arrested on the spot he is egotistic with a god complex he says none of his employees are equal to him our opinions our thoughts our beliefs are completely thrown to the side as he claims none of it matters were stupid were exspendable we cant stop to get water or food unless we clock out cause he says a 10 min trip to the store on the way to a job is costing him money he donst provide water wont even buy a bag of ice cause it cost him money he refuses to listen to his employees everything we say is either a excuse or a lie i would strongly think about someone else for your landscaping needs he will buy a cheap plant and charge u 10 times what its worth he dosnt care about noone but his self and jobs are never completed on time larrys gardening is a hazard stay away itll save u money

Horrible. Absolute WORST EVER. Unprofessional rude and a straight up theif and liar. Do NOT use this scam artist under ANY circumstances. He will take your money and then you won't see him again or he'll make you wait 2 months then do a piss poor job!

Just had Larry's Garden do a brick paver drivway and walk way at my house. He did a great job and would highly recomend him in any Design work you need around your house. If I need any more work at my huse I will not hesitate to call him.

After lawn had years of decline. Larry's garden treat the lawn for a series of treatment and it has not look this good in the last twenty years. The dead spots I have had for years came back strong.

This is a great company for all your gardening needs. The employer is a boss with integrity & will supply your gardening needs. Awesome employees who knows what they're doing

Avoid this guy like the plague. It took eleven weeks to complete what should have taken 4 days. The actual plants he installed are less than a foot tall. We could have planted seeds and had a better outcome.

Although I do not use Larry's Garden regularly, I called Larry when my beautiful tree was blown over during the hurricane. He responded promptly and replanted my tree and staked it. I could have called a "tree" company, but I would have had to wait so long, the tree probably would have died being out of the ground so long. Larry originally designed and planted my little garden several years ago, and recently some of my neighbors have stopped when I am outside and told me that my garden is still very beautiful.

And just the other day, a neighbor told me that he was glad I was able to save my tree by having it replanted and staked immediately. I have found when I treat people with courtesy, they respond in kind.

I do not recommend this place to anyone. I have had the worst experience with the owner Larry. He gladly came to my residence and took $300 of which I was suppose to receive a landscape and hardscape drawing. Called him for two months after he left my property and have not received a drawing or refund. This guy is a Crook and should not be allowed to own a business stealing from people like he does. Shame on you Larry ONeill!

Larry's not worth even one star. Terrible, terrible service! It took 3 days to do a job that should have only taken one. They repeatedly left the job and left areas unmulched. Larry is IMPOSSIBLE to deal with! He isn't reputable, is rude, and very argumentative. Not at all customer-friendly. A huge waste of money. BEWARE!

Talked via phone with Larry recently on trees and grass for OP. He was very helpful, and we decided not to go with a tree that we liked, because Larry said definitely wouldn't work in our area, which saved us a boatload of money, and offered a suggestion for an alternative. He was, however, optimistic about our thoughts on a type grass, but recommended a sprinkler system first, and agreed with my thoughts on adding topsoil before the sod. All his thoughts were free, and willingly offered. We'll return to him when we get the preliminaries done - it'll take a while, but that's our plan.
