Jon The Plumber

I would like to change my review to 5+ stars. After the first repair did not work out Jon the owner reached out personally to correct the situation. He installed a new toilet at no cost and even gave me a credit for future work! This is beyond excellent customer service. This is a company that stands behind their work which is hard to find these days. I highly recommend them. Thank you so much Jon!

Brian and Matt replaced a toilet in my home, and installed a back up sump pump. They were both extremely professional and kind, and very responsive to questions. I couldn't have asked for better service. I also appreciate that Brian and Matt were so very kind to my 6 year old grandson. Everyone who I spoke to during the scheduling process was wonderful and very responsive. I will definitely be using this business for all of my plumbing needs!

Our house froze and we needed someone to evaluate the damage and repair. Matt from Jon the Plumber was awesome. Great communication before the job, detailed quote, and followed the communicated timeline. We had another item fail during the job, and Matt was fair about adjusting the quote since it affected another part of the job he was working on. Very dependable. Responsive. Great support staff at the office. And you can do it all via text which is great if you're busy during the day.

This company gets my full respect. Not becsuse the gentlemen Matt was professional and friendly, but because they are honest. Honesty is hard to come by sometimes as we all hear stories of customers being told they need something done when it is not true. I had two issues for Matt to look at and one honestly fixed itself. Possibly fixed when my furnace was being replaced.

As for the other, Matt gave me a quote but told me to try something before I go with the service as his suggestion may solve the problem. I know companies are struggling for work but I think their honesty goes further and it's definitely appreciated. I think many would agree with me in that one of our biggest concerns is being told we need this done and so on but the peace of mind comes from the honest evaluations that are given. I'll definitely be using this company moving forward as my wife and I are currently looking for a place.

I also wanted to make time to share my experience so that other customers or people looking into doing business with them know that they ate in good hands. Thank you again Matt for you work!

I didn't use this plumbing company. The receptionist scheduled an appointment for an estimate and a plumber came out a few days later. I thought the plumber gave a fair estimate for the work. He was definitely knowledgeable and made a few suggestions. Not being sure of what I wanted to do in my shower/bathroom remodel, I did not book this plumber. I'd definitely keep them in mind for the future however.

These guys came out, got me an estimate and then completed the whole first story (over basement) repipe in a day and 3 hours, though part of the delay was just miscommunication, once the whole house filter situation was resolved they finished very professionally, no junk left behind, removed old gross pipes etc. Had them come back to do an install on the dishwasher because the previous owner had done something really weird, they fixed that issue as well and we were back in business! Will be using again for any future plumbing issues. Their pipe job really increased the value of my home.

The two tech's Matt and Shane are the only people I would want to handle my plumbing concerns. Knowledgeable, courteous, On time and more. I have additional near future plumbing jobs and I feel totally confident that I chose this company. Thank all of you at "Jon the Plumber".!

You can't get any better than Jon the plumber and his men. They did a great job at a fair price and they were as nice as they could be. I had a sump pump replaced and they did a super quality job and left it cleaner than when they came. I highly recommend.

I am a landlord and have had Jon out to my properties multiple times. He is always responsive, prompt, and willing to accommodate emergencies. His work is top notch, he is always a pleasure to deal with for both me and my tenants, and his pricing is absolutely fair and very competitive for the quality and service. He is so honest and fair he even adjusted an estimate *downwards* after the job was easier to complete than expected! Jon is my first call whenever I have a plumbing issue, and I cannot recommend him highly enough!

Excellent plumbing service at an affordable price. Service tech Gideon was friendly and effective at finding the root of the issue to water backup in basement sink. Little over $200 to have peace of mind; I will be utilizing Jon the Plumber for future plumbing issues, and advise you to do the same.

AAA+ operation! Jon was a great point man for Gideon and Christian. These guys were early, professional and they knew their stuff. Had a few shut offs added and had an older "2 handle" shower setup that was leaking. GREAT JOB on the shut offs and they didn't leave here until we were all SATISFIED that they took care of the leak. Pretty reasonably priced and AWESOME WORKMANSHIP. Would ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND Jon the Plumber to anyone looking for an HONEST, RELIABLE Plumber!

Cannot say enough good things! We had a leak in our living room ceiling and had a different company out twice and it was still not fixed. I called Jon the plumber based on the other positive reviews and they did not disappoint! Gideon showed up during the scheduled time and was able to fix our issue in under 2 hours and for a more than reasonable price. I will definitely use them for all future plumbing needs!

After dealing with a disreputable plumbing company that took advantage of an emergency situation and did work that was unnecessary, and, misdiagnosed the problem, called Jon at the recommendation of a friend. Jon came out and immediately knew what the issue was, showed us the issue on the camera and was extremely professional. His crew came a few days later and were very respectful, knowledgeable and thorough. Our issue was fixed with confidence in Jon and for less money. Highly recommend Jon the Plumber.

Responded instantly to our request for work. However their quote was not even in the ballpark. For that reason my review is for the quickness of their estimate. They did respond to my denial of qoute and tried to work with me. Another company tried harder.

I can not say enough good things about our experience. The gentleman that came to give us a quote was so honest. He could have very easily charged us for something unnecessary. Instead, he told us what the problem was, a way he could take care of it, but also left us with the knowledge of what we could do ourselves. There was no charge for the estimate, it was fast and easy, and this company has earned my business for life. Can you open an Electrician arm of the business too? Please?!

Excellent service and quick response! I needed my kitchen sink pipes repaired right before christmas and they were able to get the job done quick and efficiently and at a good price! Will definitely be using them again!

Second time I've used Jon the plumber. First experience was so great, I called him when I noticed that the clay pipe in my front yard (down to the sewer line) had broken. It wasn't critical, so we scheduled a time for them to come out. They ended up coming 2 days early when a spot freed up (a Saturday) - couldn't get the part til Monday, but were right back to finish the job on Monday.

I emailed and asked them if the pipe could be lower to the ground and someone came out that day, cut it down. I can't say enough great things about this business. They have won a customer for life.

Highly recommend Jon and his crew. If you live in the Buffalo area and need a reliable, honest, fair and hardworking plumbing crew they will take care of you. I struggled for a couple years to find someone to work with for my plumbing needs that would fill these requirements. This company will schedule a two hour window with you and they will show up.

They send email appointment and quotes that are written up thoroughly and emailed to you. They allow you to pay online or in person and they accept payment once the job is completed to your satisfactory. I am so happy I found them. They also are very professional. They are established - have a great logo, business cards. etc. I was very impressed!

Jon and his team have done a couple jobs for me and I was very pleased with the results. Both times they were very punctual and extremely professional. Indeed - As good as it gets! I called Jon for gas line installation in our recently purchased property. Jon was polite and professional and he assured that work would be done with the best quality. One thing which makes Jon apart from other is genuine feedback on what we need. He would not sell products or services which we don't need. As far as work is concerned, Tony came to our house and performed the job nicely, professionally and tmely. My quest for finding good plumbing company ends here. : I would recommend Jon/Tony any time to any of my friends.

We have used Jon the Plumber for several jobs in our home, but most specifically he and his team installed our tankless hot water heater. They were super accommodating to our needs, and worked with us to place the exhaust and intake in an inconspicuous location. We had an urgent situation with our traditional hot water tank leaking. Jon worked with us to get our new tankless hot water tank installed as quickly as possible, with us only having to wait for the unit we wanted to be shipped to us. Very professional, and very accommodating. We refer him to many of our friends and customers on a regular basis.

Everything you want.reliable, returns calls quickly, fair, spotless, post-job follow-up, exceeds expectations, came in under his quote! Jon and his team deserve 10 stars if that were an option! I'm grateful a friend referred me to him! He's earned my business forevermore!

We smelled gas and called national fuel. They came and couldn't find a leak, so just turned off our gas and suggested we call a plumber. We called Jon the plumber, after using him years prior to install our garbage disposal. He was able to come quickly and found 3 or 4 leaks in our gas pipe leading up to our upper tenant unit's stove. We were so upset to hear the pipe would require us to open up walls in our unit. Jon tried some creative thinking to find a better solution, which ultimately ran a pipe around the perimeter of the kitchen. But, he found pipes that camouflaged into the baseboard.

It was a great compromise that saved a lot of money. I had a friend use him for a major plumbing issue that required a full yard tear up. As a single female, she never felt he was ripping her off. He was responsive and helpful. Oh, and he is respectful of your house and brings booties to cover his shoes when he walks through your main house!
