Jerry Sullivan opened his garden center in March 1953 on the same location as his father's coal company. The two businesses ran side by side until 1955 when the coal closed. Brother Dan entered the business in 1956. All was rosy in the garden center and in 1972 the brothers expanded the business to include lawn service.Ten years later the landscape division is expanded as well. In 1977, grandchildren Dan, Mark and Katie entered the family business, and opened satellite locations in Dallas/Fort Worth (1983) and Detroit (1986). The new century saw the family and the business continue to grow-a new garden center was built in 2006.

They came out and served my grass. I never knew they were coming out. They were supposed to leave me some information and how much they were going to charge and if I wanted to do so I was to call them back. They just came out and did my grass and didn't tell me anything that were going on with my grass sprayed my grass. I'm getting cement work done and the lady going to tell me.
I told them to do it and said they have discontinue it. Very rude. Very unprofessional and put me in shock. I have never dealt with anybody like that. How you going to service my llawn but not contact me and let me know your service in it and the spot that I needed them to look at. I'm having cement work done they could not get to the spot that I needed them to look at because it was covered with boards.
I would not recommend this company for anything. Whoever's answer their phone. She's a very rude individual, howling and screaming at people not even letting me finish my sentence

This is the year I could not do my own yard clean up. I called Michael and he came down on a Sunday. gave me an instant quote. and I was AMAZED! NEEDLESS TO SAY I "STRONGLY" recommend them to ALL my family and friends! AAA I'm My book! Ty for giving us our tranquil sanctuary back from overgrown gardens!

Sprays herbicide carelessly along the fenceline, damaged/killed off plants at least a foot on my side of the fence when spraying my neighbor's yard. This was destroying part of a nearly 3 year effort to build a native pollinator/rain garden and recreate habitat for monarch and swallowtail butterflies. Also nearly killed a beautiful flowering. native honeysuckle.
When confronted about it, the employee said he "knows what he's doing" and never sprays into my yard. Check out the photos to see the damage to plants growing next to the fence and the "scorched earth" foot wide section with just invasive grasses next to the damaged honeysuckle. Note: the green barrier was put up after the most recent incident to try to minimize future damage, but the damage had already been done by the time I was able to get it installed.

Person answering phone on July 26 2019 is only interested in screaming at me because my weeds are due to me not watering, she can not help it if I can not afford to water, REALLY! How rude to assume that "I can not afford to water", we have been having terrible storms and I usually do not water during thunderstorms!
