There aren't enough positive things to say about Joe and his crew at First Choice. He's professional, clean, follows up, and priced right. He actually encourages you to look at other door installers and price shop! In addition to installing my entry door, he fixed the trim around it, installed a keyless entry lock and even started mixing cement and fixing things that were close to the door but DEFINITELY not his problem.
Imagine someone doing more than what's required of them nowadays. After the install, he came back to my house to meet, actually thanked me for me business and went over the multitude of jobs he completed. I was impressed to say the least but disappointed since I didn't have more things for him to do. I honestly wish he could have repaired my entire home.
If you're fed up with everything in today's world being on intergalactic back order, or takes months to be in-stock, or is 50% more than it should normally cost, look no further because THIS Joe, is the guy for you. Five Stars!

To say that I am satisfied with my new door from HMI would be a drastic understatement. It is absolutely beautiful and fits like a glove. Flawless finish and the installation went incredible. I've already had half of my neighbors compliment and inquire about where it is from. Would definitely recommend and already plan on using their products to replace my homes back door. Five stars seems insufficient still. Amazed with the quality of the product.

Multiple mix-ups with ordering the correct door: - First, the wrong door was built. It had some crazy locking system, when the dealer specified bored holes and no locks (so that we could put in our own handles) - On the second attempt, the order was lost and had to be re-submitted weeks later After receiving the correct door, severe paint chipping on the bottom 6 of both sides of the door jamb.
This occurred within 1 month of door install. I called the dealer and they informed me that instead of professionally fixing the issue (i.e. a proper paint removal and re-application with paint sprayer), HMI only offered to send me some touch-up paint so that I could try to fix it myself. Unacceptable. UPDATE 7/2019: Door jamb paint is now chipping from several areas.
It looks an absolute mess, and only a few months after install. HMI refuses to fix their faulty paint job, and based on other reviews, this is a known issue. DO NOT BUY, YOUR PAINT WILL CHIP AWAY AND THEY WON'T FIX IT.

This company has zero integrity. Ordered two custom doors from them and they did not deliver when promised. When the doors finally did arrive two months late, it was obvious that no quality control had been done on either door given there were dents in the doors and it looked like a preschooler had done the paint job. Run, don't walk, away from these Scheisters as fast as you can and find a reputable company.

Terrible. My door was considered top of the line. It is less than 2 years old and while I was told of a great warranty, I have paint chipping, the door doesn't close well, the wind strip at the bottom pealed off and the handle rusted and they will not fix it! I have been getting the run around for 10 weeks from HMI who has been less than responsive. Hoping this is rectified soon so I can update my review.

I have had the same experience as Debbie K. My door, ordered through Wampler and Sons, in Baltimore, (another story), has a Western Reflections sidelight which is de-laminating (or it may be part of the door frame but I'm not in construction). I did not even realize that portion of the door was vinyl clad until it started to bubble up. HMI acknowledges that the problem is covered by warranty but I first contacted them in October, 2017 and we are now almost two months beyond my first contact with nothing being done, not even a phone call or a scheduling for something to happen. HMI will not deal with a consumer directly (or at least it hasn't with me), you have to go back through the dealer who sold the door and forward any pictures you have through that dealer.
Not very pleasant if you were unhappy with your dealer's service. Now I am in contact, repeatedly, with Wampler and they cannot get anything done with HMI, the service department of which claims they are backed up, according to my Wampler contact. The door looks nice but what good is a company that makes it difficult for you to enforce your rights and their promises? (Also, they have some ridiculous disclaimer on their website about servicing their doors since they are in Philly.) The next steps for me are the BBB with a formal complaint and then the courts, if necessary. I would not recommend them to anyone at this point. Maybe they'll do something dramatic to change my mind.
