A+ Fencing Company

I have been waiting 2+ weeks for an estimate from this company. The estimator said we'd have it the day he came out to see the job. I have sent three emails to the owner and have gotten nothing. The appointment to do the estimate was rescheduled and the estimator was late. I cannot rate their work because I can't even get them to give me an estimate. Unprofessional.

Poor communication. Ridiculous. No way to run a business. Update--we finally got our estimate, only after posting negative reviews on Google and Yelp. The estimate was virtually unintelligible and missed half of the work requested. Despite missing a lot of the work we wanted done, the cost was twice as much as a competitor who actually provided a thorough and accurate estimate same day. Needless to say, we are done wasting our time with A+ Fencing. Horrible experience. Would not recommend.

We had a great experience w/A+- no issues with communication like I see in some of the reviews below. We got our estimate within 4 hours and had the fence completed within 2 weeks. The crew that came out really went above and beyond to fix the damage our dogs had caused to make sure the fence was flush with the ground. It looks great!

I took time out of my day to meet w estimator. Weeks later never got a quote. Called office and let them know and they said they would get on it. Never got a quote. Service providers in Denver are hit or miss.guess I know which side of the fence this one is. I would be out of a job if I treated a customer this way but call me old school.

James was very responsive from the start. The crew was punctual, friendly, and professional. Even the clean up was great. They did a fantastic job! This is the second year in a row I've used their services and will again in the future. I highly recommend! Service: Wood fence

I had three posts that were compromised, and the 6' cedar fence would sway in the wind so it was only a matter of time before it blew down. I contacted A+ Fencing online, . I scheduled an estimate and within a few days Austin (I believe that was his name) came out and reviewed my needs. He provided a quote within 24 hours (that evening). Within a few days I received an email that a crew was available to complete the repairs.

The crew arrived early in the morning and quickly removed the old posts, installed new 4" X 4" cedar posts and replaced the fence panels within a few hours. Looks GREAT and won't be swaying in the wind any more. Thank You A+ Fencing!

We used these guys too install a gate in our existing fence and they did a very good job and the price was excellent! We felt so happy we tipped the guys who did the work.

The company contracts they will use #1 lumber, but on install numerous boards were not. Contacted the owner and he promised to replace them. Had a problem getting a response on when they would be replaced. After contacting BBB and posting here, the owner immediately got back with me and scheduled to come back. He personally came to inspect the fence.

I was asking for 12 boards to be replaced. He said he would replace 75, and apologized for the bad batch. He also took time to inspect the fence placement based on my concerns. Turns out the original fence was incorrectly situated, and the new fence was in the right spot. The responsiveness to get it right was great. Communication as to scheduling and response time needs improvement.

These guys are D plus at best. Rails don't meet middle of post and fit is laughable. Simple 80' dead straight three rail fence. James came for walk through day late after no call no show, had no idea of project although pictures, prints, quote, and HOA requirements were sent on several occasions. Crew was also late and James said often doesn't keep in contact with crews. It's the old I quote it and crew does 7th grade work and no one responsible for themselves or work. Talk about labor exploitation.

UPDATE: I'm updating my review from 1 star to 3. A couple of hours after I posted the review below they reached out and said they could have a crew out that afternoon to fix my fence. The fence looks great, everyone I spoke with was very kind, and they gave me a discount for the hassle. They did a good job fixing their mistakes, but I am disappointed that it took a public review to get a response and the whole thing was still a huge ordeal. -- I'm bummed to post this because it looks like this company usually does a great job, and James was very nice every time I talked to him, but I've had a very frustrating experience with them.

I contacted A+ Fencing for a repair a month ago and they were quickly able to come out and see what needed to be done. They said it would be about two weeks until they could get me on the schedule for repairs and that they would contact me. After 3 weeks I still hadn't heard back so I spent 5 days calling, emailing, texting, and contacting them through their website with no response.

They finally answered their phone last Friday, apologized for the issue, and scheduled me for Tuesday morning. On Tuesday, they didn't show up, didn't call, and didn't respond to my calls. I have two dogs and my fence has now been broken for over a month while I've waited for them to get back to me, and now I have to start this whole process over again with another company. James said that he is the only one running the business and I get that he's busy, but I wish I had been given a realistic timeframe from the beginning so I could know what to expect.

From start to finish they were a highly professional and responsive company. We had three companies that gave us estimates and although they were not the cheapest (the difference was marginal), they were the best in every way and gave us by far the best quality. They communicated often and well, and got the job (demo of old fence and replacement of over 200 feet of fencing plus a gate) completed in one day. They were respectful of our property and patient with us as we also had another project happening that they had to work around. We were blown away and will highly recommend.

James and his team were thorough professionals all through the process, and experts at what they do! All things were done on time and in budget, they were all polite, nice and did a great job of the work itself. No complaints about anything at all, it all went very smooth. We are very happy and satisfied with their work, and would 100% recommend them to anyone who asks!

James did a great job working with our vinyl fencing vendor after a previous fence installation company dropped the ball. A Plus fencing did an excellent job, and we would absolutely use their services again! They were friendly and professional - really a pleasure to work with. They came to the house and gave us an accurate estimate, they scheduled a time for installation that worked for us, and they did a great job installing our fence. Our neighbors have commented on how nice the new fence looks, and we love the new gates. We were also very impressed with how fast the installation team worked. Thank you!

We selected A Plus out of three other companies because they were always on time and responsive to my multiple concerns. When it came to completing the project, the guys were on time and worked long hours to finish. The finished project looks great! They cleaned up and repaired the yard to look great.highly recommend.

I can't speak to the fencing quality of this company but the quality of driving by either the owner or one of his employees driving in a company vehicle. He was aggressive, made several illegal lane changes, and nearly got my vehicle. I would use this company with caution.

Nothing but great experiences with James and his team. When I email I receive a response within a day, each time. James built my fence and I referred him to an employee who also used his servoces. I have also referred James to several of my neighbors, so in total, I think 4 or 5 homes on my street alone have fences built by this team. I also used James for landscaping and sprinklers, and will be using him again in the next month or two to complete the fencing for a dog run. Honestly, one of the nicest and most down to earth people (especially a contractor) with whom I have had the pleasure to work with.

He may take some time to get out and get the estimate or work done, but understand he does a lot of the work himself and has a very small team serving all over the Denver metro.

It's shocking to me that the (ONE) reviewer says how responsive A+ Fencing was, we had quite the opposite experience! They completely no showed our appointment! We needed to get our gate fixed on our fence. My boyfriend called James and set up an appointment to get an estimate. We have a dog that is a runner, so we needed to be home when getting the quote.

My boyfriend called James twice, because we also decided to get a quote on power washing and staining if that service was offered as well. (so he had his number in his phone.twice) He had also originally tried to email him, but the email bounced. A+ must be doing VERY VERY well, if they can no show an appointment with no phone call to advise or reschedule. Based on this unprofessionalism, I would never do business with A+ Fencing. We did get our gate fixed this week by a great company who actually showed up when they said they would.imagine that!
