The contract and schedule is all online and very easy to use to get payments in. The office staff returned our calls for our questions. The sales man was accurate and detailed. He followed up when we had other questions. On the day they were to start we didn't know what time, maybe it was online, but I hadn't looked. The office staff tracked down the installer and let us know approx time of arrival.
They worked quickly and had protective drop cloths and stayed many hours each day to make sure all was right and finished in just 2-3 days. They replaced the drain pipes in our old house so now it flows well. We are very happy with the tub/shower remodel. It's a little pricey but American Home coordinates all the supplies and workers and downtime for our bathroom was just 2 days and then a couple days for the adhesives to dry.
This would have been a lot longer time if we had to go pick up the right tub and fixtures, etc. and make sure size and fit were correct and items were in stock at stores, etc. We looked at other companies and thought it was a similar cost but it was nice that American Home takes care of it all.

They have the worst customer service. No one ever gets back with you! I cannot believe Home Depot referred me to this company. I have spoken with three individuals regarding my issue and no one has been able to assist me. They just keep passing me along to someone else. Stay away from this company. They are all about money and not about the clients.

Very poor customer service. Communication with the company is difficult. Salesman was helpful and friendly during the sale. Salesman agreed to an installation date. When the date got near I had to reach out several times to find any information. Company has a portal site that customer is required to log in to in order to get information. Installation date was scheduled one week later without any consultation at all with me.
Up until a few days before the newly scheduled installation date I had to reach out to the company several times to find out if anyone was really going to come at all. One worker came in unmarked white van that appeared to be a personal vehicle. The van was unkempt and has been at many many job sites. A $13,000 shower install took one worker a total of 12 hours over two days with another two workers coming a week later to install the glass door/wall in about 4 hours.
The shower wall (acrylic) was damaged upon installation. (minor) I was not prepared to continue trying to do business with a company that did not communicate well, also I did not have the time to delay the completion of the job. The company offered a total of $350 credit for the damage. The glass door installers damaged my hallway (minor) and no compensation was offered.
The company offered to repair the hallway, I declined the offer because I simply did not want to deal with the company anymore and I feared the repair would be worse than the damage. All said and done the end product is good, but you can certainly find a better company to work with. Nothing special about their product at all, I believe this company just sub-contracts out the workers.
The glass door workers gave me their business information in case I wanted to do more work with just them and the shower installer said that he works for several different companies.

Great communication, timely work, work sequence was appropriately scheduled plus permits and inspections. Everybody was friendly and helpful and listened to all my wishes. I love the builder trend app they use. All around a great experience after 2 remodeled bathrooms, they will start on a third one soon! Unfair prices over charging for services did not provide itemized price sheets before signing contracts. When I finally received the breakdown I was charged double the amount for the work that was done. Jase the Owner and Migual were rude and unprofessional. They charge everyone 23000.00 and pretend discounts off of already marked up prices. And that was just for a tub and shower not even a full remodel. SMH

We hired this company to replace our shower & bath unit, install vent fan and outlet. The original sales guy was awesome and even though their pricing was outrageous compared to other companies, they seemed like they would provide quality service and in only 2 days. After booking and first payment, I never heard from them again until I reached out to find out why I haven't received any information on further payments.
The demo & install was scheduled to be completed on Monday where we had to arrange care for our little one to not be home, and on Friday afternoon, I received a call from them stating that the materials hadn't arrived on time so that they would need to reschedule. I was absolutely furious that we didn't ever hear anything from them until the last minute and that was to say they couldn't fulfill their contracted time.
We tried to cancel with them but they refused and said we would have a 10% fee. So we had to stay with them. The communication from them was horrible-they would call me and say the crew could start 1 day late and then call back saying I'm sorry but they aren't available. This went on for about a week. When they finally came, the foreman of the job was rude from the start and also began by telling me no-one ever communicated to him what the job entailed so they didn't have the proper materials.
They finally figured it all out but the guy wouldn't communicate with me. He never told me when he was leaving for the day and when I asked questions he would either say he didn't know or be rude with the answer. The tech who was supposed to install the fan said his car broke down so they told me they couldn't install it in time for the rest of the work to be done.
I insisted that they needed to find an alternate tech because we couldn't have this work open for a week without work being completed (this was during the Holidays so they only worked 2-3 days per week and they were late arriving and didn't work full days). They finally did get a different tech to install the fan but it delayed the rest of the work by 1.5 days.
When I received a call from a manager of sorts, he didn't offer anything to make up for all of these issues. I asked for some sort of compensation and he said he couldn't discount anything but would throw in a shower head upgrade and grab bar (which we did not need). After the job was complete there were small issues, but we decided to take care of most of them on our own since the worker was so rude and made me feel uncomfortable any time he was in our home.
We will never go with this company again. The lack of professionalism made this extremely pricey remodel a complete headache. Things were blamed on Covid and it just wasn't how you should run a business.

They did our bathroom remodel in early 2000 (as the provider for Home Depot). Remodel included R&R of bathtub, shower and shower enclosure. Installed new tile. Replaced bathroom sink and counter top with Quartz. Excellent quality, job completed on schedule. Good communication from the company during the process. At the time, they used the "Buildertrend" app to communicate, and keep me informed of their calendar of scheduled tasks.
They took care of county permits. Very happy with their work, and knowing Home Depot would also back me up if I wasn't pleased. A little over a year after their install, the tub fixture had problems (faulty cartridge). I called them, and they came out within 5 days to troubleshoot and replace the part causing the problem. Yes, I'd use them again.

The service providers were on time each day. One day in advance I would receive a confirmation text to ensure that we were in sync and on schedule. The designers listened to my needs and created a perfect design. The materials were high quality and installations were flawless. I never had a cleanup issue as the service people were immaculate. I have recommended AHR to several if my friends wishing to remodel.

Great experience with American Home remodeling. I had all new windows installed throughout my entire home. Showed up as scheduled and had the entire job done in one day. If your looking for quality work this is the place to go. Very refreshing having contractors that are fair priced, high quality service and finish when they say they will. Will definitely be coming back.
