Discount Door and Window were super easy to work with. Even though I changed my mind on the door design after my initial order, Joselyn was extremely helpful and understanding. The door quality and Mike's installation were top notch!

I needed to some vinyl windows for a project and found Discount Door and Window through Yelp. I was hesitating on buying from them because of their reviews but I was desperate! Luckily, their office manager helped me order all my windows and I was able to pick them up in less than three weeks! I'm so happy with my new windows! 10/10 would definitely come back for a quick job well done!

I called this company to get 3 windows replaced, they were absolutely amazing. From the start of the process to the end I knew exactly what was going, I didn't expect the windows to come out so well, but I was not disappointed! They did an amazing job, they were promo, fast and even cleaned up the mess after. My wife was very happy with the work we had done; will definitely use them again if I need anything else.

Not a reputable company! Discount Door and Window replaced all the windows in my condo. One window never closed properly and now it leaks when it rains. After weeks of not getting my calls or emails answered I finally got them to agree to a service call - at $150 for the first hour and $75 for each hour after that. The "Lifetime Warranty" they hand you only covers manufacturers defects and not their sloppy installation. A reputable company would stand by their work and not gouge you to fix their own mistakes. Don't be taken in.

Very professional and affordable! Great people great customer service to work with. They are Very detailed in their work. I am so happy with result. I highly recommend.

They replaced every window in our home five years ago, including two sliding glass doors. One window leaks. At first, they refused to honor their lifetime warranty. After some complaining a technician did come. He diagnosed the problem and said that he would return the next day to complete the repair. The technician was a no-show the next day. He never called to tell us why. We called the technician. He said that he would come. He has been a no-show TWO MORE TIMES! This company has terrible customer service.

What a disappointment! Talked with Alan for help in installing our entry door and sidelight and sad to say no one called me back. So I called him again and said Alan, I have not heard back from you, I really need your help. Alan said one of his guys is having car troubles but I am his next call, that was 4 days ago. So I text Alan again and said Alan, I still have not heard back from your employee.

And not surprised that he has not responded to me. It's sad that when small business assume that this is your only project and your only property the skip right over for the bigger jobs and this is the case with this company. So if you are looking for a reliable business that is about building relationships in the community, I cannot recommend this company. Alan, you really dropped the ball with my family, we are trying to get back on our feet after a devastating house fire and you just couldn't be bothered to help us! Good luck with that business strategy.

This company is a JOKE. I have been trying to get my warranty info and have been hung up on (by the owner Allen) as well as told that I would be contacted and then never contacted. On top of that, when they put our solar in, they not only put in too few panels to cover our house energy use (even though I asked for extra energy), they didn't tell me that I needed a circuit breaker upgrade or it would "pop" all the time and not collect energy.

So now I have to check our panel MULTIPLE times a day just to ensure the solar THEY INSTALLED is actually collecting energy. When I spoke to Allen today, and was clearly frustrated from trying to get info all week, he told me that he didn't want to talk to me and HUNG UP ON ME! Not only will I NEVER use them again, I am going to be warning EVERYONE of their incompetence and lack of respect for a customer who paid IN FULL at the time of the work!

I picked discount door and windows because it's cheaper than others. I have 12 windows done. I've seen how sloppy the installer and doesn't cleaned his area before he goes to another windows. I cleaned my kitchen counter full of aluminum shavings and dust. I have to show this guy how to removed the tape residue from window stickers.

He left trash all over my yard look at the pictures. That just a few. Molding is not caulk. Look at the picture. One of the windows is cracked. I have to wait two weeks for replacement. Everything is covered with molding so you don't see how it was built. But I knew because I was looking and watching this guy. I am not going to recommend this place to anyone. this place to anyone.

The salesman was not very good in keeping me informed regarding my closet door order. I had to call him for every update & he Never.returned my calls. Kept giving me a different price each time. There price was not very reasonable in the end. Would not recommend them or use them again.

Mike and Taylor did a fantastic job installing our new kitchen! Mike really had some great suggestions/observations along the way that we really appreciated hearing!

BUYER BEWARE! Read the one star reviews and you will see a consistent theme of poor products, poor service, and poor installation. Given the variety of door and window professionals in the San Diego area, you can do better than this. Much, much better. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

My property manager recommended I replace 36 windows on my rental from this company she had done business with in the past. I got two other bids from companies I heard advertised on TV and the radio and Discount beat them by thousands! They did an excellent job installing and coordinating with four families and my property manager. Thank you Discount! The tenants and I are very happy!

This is a follow-up to my prior review. After finishing my updating and painting of my house I finally had Window Washers come out and do my windows. It was at this time that they told me that one of my windows that this company installed was defective and had many marks, scratches Etc between the two panes. I called the office and asked them what their warrenty was on their glass, and the gentleman said lifetime which I find hard to believe but I'm sure it's at least 6 months which is how long ago the windows were put in.

When I talk to Viviana she asked which window was defective, the tempered glass or the regular glass. I was a little confused because I paid for both to be tempered glass. Obviously they screwed me on one window. She told me they would make me a new window and she would get back to me tomorrow. After waiting two days I never heard from her, and when I finally did talk to her she made it sound like I had done something to damage the window which is impossible since it's in a cathedral ceiling room.

I asked her to please send the owner out to look at it and she said they're just too busy to do that even though my house is only 10 minutes from their business. She told me she'd get back to me and I waited 5 more days and she never did which is the same treatment I got in June when I tried to get hold of them. This company is dishonest and they have the worst customer service I've ever seen in my life. Do not get involved with them! My next step is going to the BBB.

I guess I should've read the reviews before using this company. I used them to replace the sliding glass door that was shattered. They came and measured the glass themselves so I'm not sure what happened. They called me two weeks later to schedule an appointment and then showed up an hour and a half late, after I had left work early to be there.

They took off the old door and when they went to put on the new glass they had the WRONG SIZE! After waiting another 2 weeks for the right size they were this time 2 hours late showing up. There were no apologies or anything offered to me for their several mistakes. I would not recommend using this company.

PayPal stepped in and refunded my money. I still don't know if they ever made my window. Some people just find themselves in the wrong line of work, and these people should not be doing online sales.

Great quality windows at a very good price, reasonable turn around time and installation was good. Have used for several projects and will continue to.

We ordered windows from these guys and they gave us the vinyl windows without the trim at this point it took two weeks to receive them so I said screw it and I have them install it anyway even though I didn't like it without the trim so what I did next is unbelievable I told his installer does he want to make some side cash and I used him on my next project without going through Discount Windows so he charged me $40 a window installed instead of 120 haha I will now go through his installer for Windows I will not go through discount Door and Window now that's karma for you thank you

Excellent, customized windows at a hard to beat price. Ordered online and got exactly what I ordered to the exact 1/4 inch. Did the installation myself, so can't speak to that portion of the store. As far as the final product, extremely pleased.
