Clear Concepts Window & Door

From the first appointment to the install this company communicated well, provided clear instructions, and came in at a good price. We did the retrofit windows on 7 windows and are very happy with the product received.

I purchased 4 windows on 2/20/07. All was good. Jason, the salesman was fantastic. Approximately 4 months ago, I contacted David King. My sliding glass door was creating water on both sides of the molding on the inside of my house. After he spent at least 2 hours trying to figure out problem, he determined that the 2 water drains were clogged, and that was creating the issue.

He told me he could have 1 of his employees replace the 2 pieces of molding for $75. I agreed. It has now been since 11/15/2021 and he has never called to schedule the said work. I did call him a few weeks ago to inquire, but he was very abrasive on the phone, as his son was very ill (I hope he is well). I've never heard from him again. His customer service is substandard, and I would not let them back in my house. Coincidentally, I am getting bids on replacing all my windows, as my house is now 29 years old. I would never consider using their services, as they do not respect the customers issues after the sale. BUYER BEWARE.

Our windows were more than 30 years old and it was time to upgrade them. I contacted four companies to come in, explain the process and give us a quote, and "Clear Concepts Windows and Doors" was the winner. David is very knowledgeable and clearly explained the windows energy efficiency and savings, the installation process and timelines, and also helped us with product selection.

The installation was done professionally and shorter than estimated time. We are happy with their work and now our house looks great and feels like we are living in a new house.

I first worked with Clear Concepts about 2011 when they replaced all the windows in my beach rentals. Bryan, the owner, made it an efficient and pleasant process. They were prompt and skillful in completing the job at a reasonable price. One of their main strengths was a broad knowledge of the windows market so they could help me select the windows that best suited my project.

I also liked the personalized service of working with a locally-owned family business. So this month, when I was looking for an unusual window (12" x 48") to have installed in my home, I remembered Clear Concepts. Every aspect of doing our project with Clear Concepts was a total delight. Pamela provided the quote and managed our project, and Travis did our install, and they were both absolutely the nicest and most professional people you could ask for. We have a 71-year old house, and the age combined with work done by prior owners makes every single project that we undertake at least a little bit tricky as nothing is standard. Travis managed any hiccups perfectly. We have more door and window projects and will happily be calling Clear Concepts again!

These guys are great. They do a neat job, put plastic on everything so things do not get dusty and are willing to move things out of the way and back exactly where they belong when they are done. Polite and professional.which I wish I could say about the property management company for our building. Clear Concepts came and thought everyone knew the deal.

Our "Property Manager" gave us no warning and we had no idea windows were being done. These guys showed up and barely anyone was home to get their windows done and the poor staff workers here had to explain to whoever was home what was going on and nobody knew nothing. The people representing this company kept cool and I'd honestly be very pissed at the property management company if I were the owner of Clear Concepts, because what could have taken 3 days is taking them about a week and a half due to the lack of coordination created by the "property management" company that doesn't know how to manage. A+ for the job and service they are doing and another A+ for putting up with this situation and doing so very politely.

I had a very GOOD experience with Clear Concepts' Pamela. She came out to give a window review/evaluation/quote. She was prompt, efficient and courteous. She has an IMPRESSIVE amount of product and industry knowledge. Honest and Smart. She comes HIGHLY recommended. I rarely give out a review this good, as my standards are very high. A+ rating.

I was on the hunt for a door handle for my sliding glass door that was installed 6 years ago. They went thru all their stock items and found just the right handle for my door which they gave to me without charge. I say this is a business that goes above and beyond the norm. We were referred to Clear Concepts by a neighbor who had them install all new-construction windows & doors in her condo unit. We have 1985-era custom "skywall" and clerestory windows in our house which most window companies won't touch. She was pleased with the results, and Clear Concepts was familiar with the process of removing and reinstalling new-construction windows.

That was a big advantage in getting the job approved quickly by our HOA, who even agreed to pay a small portion of the stucco work. (Clear Concepts put us in touch with a stucco company who also did great work.) Their window estimate was on point compared to other quotes from neighbors who had replaced theirs already with new-construction windows.

It took 5-6 weeks for the order to arrive due to custom sizes and frames painted to HOA specs. Once the stucco work was done and everything arrived, the install crew was quick to install everything and haul off the old ones. We could only afford to have half of the house done because we were also having the front entry, side path and rear patio remodeled with pavers and retaining walls.

We want to install the other half of the windows (including 2 more skywall windows in the upstairs bathrooms) in a year or so. We will definitely use Clear Concepts again. Everyone was very patient and professional in their communication with us. Thank you, Clear Concepts!

We just had all of the windows in our 2 story house replaced by Clear Concepts. They replaced all of the original single pane windows and what a difference on the inside and outside. We decided to go with the Vinyl retrofit. Two of the other vendors were pushing new construction. The retrofits look great! The job took 2 days to install the 19 wndows in our house.

We had interviewed 4 contractors and decided to go with Clear Concepts. Pamela, our salesperson was very knowledgeable, personable and not aggressive at all, very responsive when we had questions. Our next door neighbor used Clear Concepts 8 years ago. Her windows still look great and she highly recommended them. Their pricing was also very competitive. Robbie and Joe came out to measure and they also did the install.

We had a couple of tricky windows, which was no problem for them. It was very obvious, they were quite experienced They were also very courteous and professional. In short, we highly recommended Clear Concepts and would definitely hire them again.

I had this company come out to replace one window. They gave me a quote and came out and took measurements. When they came back to install it it was a good job. I was getting reimbursed for this project but needed it inspected. The inspector said it needed to be tempered glass for this area. So I called them back and they said I didn't want it tempered, never remembered that conversation.

The owner said he can't know all codes in San Diego so the homeowner would have to know. After a lengthy conversation I had to agree to pay another $150 to get the glass replaced so I could pass inspection. It passed. So good company, but you need to know all the codes for the glass in your home.

I had 3 window quotes Clear concepts was my 3rd. The first said 10 grand, the second, after an hour presentation said 10 grand, then 8, then let me talk to my boss, if you decide now it's 6k. Then after I said no to all that they called with 4200 with a sign outside and an open house to show everyone. Really? Then I got a referral from a home flipper for these guys.

They Came in quick with a 4800 estimate scheduled the date and did 2 sliders and five windows in one day. There was even a power wire not ran to code discovered after taking out a slider. They helped me to add junction boxes to make it code at no extra charge! Great service!

I called Clear Concepts today to see about getting a huge bay window replaced, since my old glass window had a B.B. shot through it. The girl that answered the phone told me they "don't do one window jobs" and would not come out for a quote. Wow. It's not like it's a 2x4 window. Whatever, I guess they are too good for my business.

Great company from start to finish. Reasonable bid for the entire house, windows ordered and installed about 4 weeks later. Very professional and detailed oriented. I highly recommend.

My experience with Clear Concepts was excellent! The owner, Bryan, came out and measured my windows and gave me a quote on the spot. Ten days later, after the new windows arrived, they scheduled an installation day that was good for me. A crew of 3 arrived at 8:30 in the morning, and by 1:30 they had finished installing 9 new windows and a new sliding glass door.

First off, ask for Pamela to be your salesperson - she was simply awesome. Real down to earth and authentic, she was upfront about everything, and you never felt as you were being sold something. Lots of followup, she answered every question, and those she didn't have an immediate response to, she went to work to find out the answer and got back to us right away.

I love this company so far. Pricing was WAY under the competition (and we always get 3 bids) for the same glass package. The installers came today to take final measurements and they were quick and professional. I will change my review if something goes wrong with installation in a couple weeks, but I don't expect it to with their professionalism. Pamela and the whole staff were so friendly and took care of every detail.

I was really impressed with the reviews of this company on Yelp! so I decided to give them a call for an estimate to replace 11 windows. David King came out (I missed our first appointment at 11:30a.m.) but he was very understanding and came out again the next evening when I was off work. He was very professional, personable and knowledgeable about the window business.

I would highly recommend this company! I have worked with Pam and the group for the past five years and every time my experience has been wonderful! I am just saddened that I don't have anymore windows to replace. When we do move though they will be my first call for help

Clear Concepts have been around for a really long time and were there to back up any issues I had with warranty. My sister used another "cheaper" company and they have since then gone out of business. The window company itself is also no longer around so she is now out of luck with any warranty. The staff has been really great and the installers are always courteous, clean and prompt.

I highly recommend them if you're looking for a good dual pane window installer. And please, you get what you pay for so don't think cheaper is better when buying windows. You want something that will last for a long long time.

I walked around my Condo Community and knocked on the door of the guy who had the best windows of all 300 units! He was kind enough to let me know and sang the praises of both the windows and of David King. I asked the same questions to a couple other neighbors who had their windows done and the price that Clear Concepts presented was half that of the others.and I kid you not, they literally were the best windows in the place! So I called Clear Concepts and David came over to share with with me the different options and the benefits of each.

Once I selected the options I wanted (identical to my neighbors) he presented me with a quote that was slightly less than what my neighbor paid (sshh!) due to a sale. All in all I am VERY please with the quality of the windows! The temperature in my condo is much more to my liking as I am having to run the heater and AC 1/10 what I was running it before.

I am also not hearing the nearby trolley or the families walking their dogs. And the place just looks brand new! I could not be happier with my purchase or the service. Thank you!
