I hope lots of people get to read this "company" reviews before hiring them. They are by far the worst construction company I have ever hired. To start eddy the owner will ask you for 75% of the job upfront and be prepared! He will not show up to work more than 80 % of the time. Finishing a simple pantry and few things became a nightmare. He is always short of employees, will disappear on the weekends and god forbidden you ask him to finish the job that he got paid for. He will chew you alive and then will not answer the phone. He will get you by offering a low price for the job. Please seriously run from this scammer.

Blue Monkey Construction was a complete nightmare. Edward (Eddie) didn't pull permits which included electrical and plumbing. He removed pipes and altered plumbing without consent without using a licensed plumber. He had to issue a credit because he was not licensed to perform waterproofing work with the City of Miami, he refused to credit the full amount for the balcony waterproofing work.
He demanded money before payments were due. He sent incompetent/unskilled workers, stopped showing up. The toilet was not properly re-installed after tile installation and it caused a leak to the downstairs neighbor.

I received this company's information from floor and decor. They made an appointment for October 16 2019 at 530pm. They called me October 15 2019 to see if I could make a later appointment. I said sure and made it for 730pm. On the 16th, I waited until almost 8pm to contact them and find it what happened. I was told that he had transmission problems.
They could have at called. We rescheduled for friday at 730 and no one showed or even bothered to call. In my opinion very unproffessional. I will not be recommending this company to anyone. If they can't keep an appointment I could imagine the work! If I could give no stars I would!
