Let me just start off by saying my whole experience with 1st Choice Air from the initial call to the repaired ac unit was fantastic. McKenzie was so kind and was able to get me in first thing in the morning after my ac unit gave out at 10:00 at night. Our technician Patrick was great as well and was able to find the problem quickly and had my ac unit running within the hour.

He also explained to us what the actual problem was with the unit and gave us some tips to prevent future issues. If you are looking for someone reliable and professional I would definitely recommend 1st Choice Air.

1st Choice Air earns their name! Patti came out when our office lost a unit and gave us great service by coming out same day and getting us set up with new machines next day! Robby also came and provided professional service in helping our office get on a maintenance plan and explaining what was going on with our machines. They are a great company!

We just had our home built a year ago, and of course the AC decides not to blow cold air RIGHT as the warranty expires on labor with Airtron. After finally getting a hold of them, we were told they only service our home if we have a membership ($25/month), but it didn't cover labor. So I decided to look up reviews and call around. 1st Choice popped up and they were available to come out immediately so 5/5 on fast service. Price-wise: I have a feeling we are paying more but we didn't want to play around anymore since it's already 90 degrees and the ac isn't working.

We needed a fast solution. Riley came out and diagnosed the problem quickly, the TXV needed replacement. The part was covered under Carrier warranty, not the labor as is the case many places. Riley recommended two other parts be replaced to extend the life of the unit. He wrote down three quotes, the basic "get it fixed and go" price was $800. The middle was just replacing one of the recommended parts plus the TXV plus a maintenance plan, $1300.

And the highest was $1500 replacing all recommended parts plus the TXV and maintenance plan. The maintenance plan doesn't cover labor (as the pattern goes!) which is $60 each time they come out which is twice a year for unit maintenance. Our problem is the actual part needed to fix the AC isn't something they carry and needed to be ordered. So for now we have no air, not sure if we're paying for a hotel or what at this point.

We're just HOPING the part comes in fast so we can go about our lives. Maybe this reviews helps someone because you're going to end up paying that labor cost either way. Anything HVAC is most likely expensive in the first place though because of the tools needed to diagnose and perform. But at least with 1st Choice I feel like the quality of work is top notch! Riley is a quality technician both friendly and efficient.

First of all this company leads the way in communication and follow up reminders. Very impressive on the front end before anyone showed up. We are signed up in the winner's circle maintenance plan so this was our first 6 month check up. Patrick came out and I was able to walk him through our previous work orders as this new to us system in a house we recently bought and inherited had some issues last year.

He checked everything and addressed all of the previous concerns. He explained everything throughly, gave his professional recommendation and gave on the spot pricing. He did a great job and answered all of my questions. Manny has always been a great resource and help getting our previous systems repaired and back up to running condition. Patrick did a great job today and I'm looking forward to the next 6 month check up. 1st choice air has a great group of people and it shows from the top down. 10/10 will continue to be a customer.

Robby was very through and took the time to explain everything to me. He answered my many questions about our new home and it's heating and AC units and issues. My heating system stopped working last night in the midst of the winter storm. I called early this morning and was so grateful for an appointment today. Robby was my tech and he was wonderful. He explained everything and was careful making sure I understood each option and his actions. I was so impressed I also signed up for the maintenance contract as well. Thank you for a wonderful service experience in the middle of a storm! Very satisfied NEW customer.

Awesome HVAC company to work with. They replaced our heat pump and inside system last year and just came out for service and check up. The technician came on time. (There was a map so I could track his arrival.) He did a thorough diagnosis. He explained everything well with pictures. He gave us options for repair, replace, etc. He had everything he needed to do the repair, finished in a timely, manner, & even came back the next day to replace the filter. We now have heat, and we couldn't be more satisfied.

Patti was fantastic in helping me select the right units for my house. She answered all of our questions and set up the financing and scheduled the install all in one meeting. Shane, Rusty, and Reuben showed up for the install early the following morning. They were all incredibly polite and efficient and did a great job of working around my 2 year old.

They walked me through all of the equipment and helped set up the thermostats. They left everything as clean as it was when they arrived and the house was warm again before they left. Great service great people!

This business is very professional and efficient. Patti set everything up and took care of our financing. All we had to do was sign on the dotted line. Patrick resolved a cost discrepancy for the visit straight away with no issues. He appeared to do a thorough inspection of my unit. He came up with the expected list of repairs but he was honest in the value of the repairs since the system is still functioning good. I believe he gave me good value, when he left I felt I knew more about my units and what may go wrong with them in the future.

We thought our system needed a repair. We were quoted a fair price for the service call. Manny came and took a look and made a minor repair and was able to take care of it under our service agreement, so no charge. Excellent company that hires excellent employees. Will recommend them all the time. Trustworthy and competent, thanks for everything.

Called today (Sunday) and they came, fixed our AC and left in LESS than 2 hours. Superb customer service. Technician Luke Rogers did an excellent job! Reasonable price, too. Highly recommend!

I do not recommend this company. Bobby, the service manager, and the tech that tried to railroad my wife were both at my house for a follow up to the debacle that was the initial service call - and they were not honest or humble (or very professional in the end) in my dealings with them. Initially, the company sent a young and inexperienced apprentice and a trainee to troubleshoot my AC issue, who just happened to (snap) diagnose it as one of the most costly fixes (zone control board).and after he replaced it (with a different and more expensive and unnecessary model without telling us this), suddenly a breaker was bad too (which was not bad before they came). Turns out that the company charges a fixed price of $328 for this breaker that you can buy retail online for about $60-70. Bobby told me that the company sets these prices and it is what it is, deal with it (I'm paraphrasing, but not much).

And they couldn't understand why I didn't trust them.this is after the tech told my wife on the initial service call that the zone control board was around $1,500, and then came with a quote for $700-something to replace it. BTW: The zone control board we need is $100 on Amazon.$600+ for markup and a 15 min install? Unacceptable. Dishonest. Also: the tech tried to charge us over $120 to "rewire mis-wired thermostat", for moving the heat conductor (white wire) from "w" to "w2".we do not have a two stage system. So.$120 to mis-wire a correctly wired thermostat that was working for a year since we bought the house (and who knows how long before that) as it was.

Later the tech said it may have worked that way, but it's still wrong.so we were charged $120 for his opinion about another way that will work.to fix a non-issue. After all is said and done, I'm out $99 for the service fee, and still no closer to having my AC repaired. Likely farther. By the way, the breaker is fine. I turned it on when I got home and its holding and it gets voltage through it. So they tried to charge me $328 for a bogus repair.

First choice will be my last. After a Saturday call cause my business AC we out we gave them a call. About an hour and half later a technician came out. Was told my blower motor was out and it was old needed replaced. Josh told me he would put the order in for the part but nothing would be done until Monday, but that Monday afternoon he'd be back. to get us up and going.

Perfect since my business was closed for Sundays and Mondays. Monday afternoon rolls in and my husband calls to check the status of or work order. Understand that it has rained all day we were told we were first on the list for 9a. Here is 11:30 and we are told we are next in line. After $1400 for a service call and part on a Saturday. mind you that's not the cost of the 2nd service of the part being installed.

I'm sure that will be another $1200 or more since I'm considered commercial. Called and spoke to someone to be told I'd be called back. I had to call back 40 mins later to see what was going on yet again.

Called 1st choice air solution as a return customer (my son used them last year) the tech was here for 10min. He told me I needed to call a electrician and then charged me $99. Then told me after the electrician comes feel free to call them back, but it will cost me another $99 plus parts. Never told me what parts where possibly needed.

1st Choice Air Solutions, they truly live to make sure their costumers are 100% satisfied. They installed our AC/heating unit and they did a phenomenal job! If you are not happy with a service they will make go out of their way that you are happy. Donna is so warm and understanding, Bobby has comed out to our property a couple of times to service our AC and he always goes above and beyond! You will not be disappointed! I'm not happy with this company. I was told that we would receive a rebate. We purchased a whole new system and purchased all new ducts. This was back in June when we bought the system and ducts. I understand things are slow to due to Covid. That's not the issue. I called back in October because there was a problem with the unit. It had a bad. heating element which you fixed.

When I called in October about the heat not working I asked about the rebate. I was told Ashley takes care of that and would get back to me. She never did. So I called back again in October. I was told, "I'm sorry about that Ashley will call you." She never did. It's January now. I called again over 2 weeks ago and I was told the same thing. Guess what?

Still no call back. This is horrible customer service! I wish I never purchased this unit and ducts from a company that treats customers this way. I tagged you awhile back under a complaint from another customer on Facebook no response to that either!

I would give them 5 stars for their tech, Chris, being very thorough, and polite. I'd give the company 1 star for price gouging. I called on Saturday, 01-09-2021 because we had no heat. Donna took my call and was very polite and helpful. Chris diagnosed the problem and took a dual run capacitor off which was leaking liquid. He told me that part. was$300.00. Well, with little choice, since we had no heat I told him okay.

The upside, I suppose, is he told me the $328.00 which they charge for the capacitor, along with the service call wold be applied to a new system if we opted to do that within 48 hrs. Come on! It's a Saturday and no other companies are going to give a competitive bid on week ends! I recalled seeing another review about them charging $300.00 for a capacitor, so, I checked Amazon and most capacitor's on their site are $20.00 or less. I understand companies mark up parts, but, $328.00! Beware!

I am very disappointed in 1st Choice Air Solutions with their customer service. We bought a brand new unit back in May, and had a rebate coming back to us for the purchase. It is now December, we have called multiple times and all we get are excuses. "We have to wait for the other company (Oncor) to approve it" to "It's approved, we have sent it. and you should be getting it soon". Now, it's just "Oh, sure! We'll call you back". Nothing.

No answer. Every. Single. Time. This is absolutely ridiculous. I am so incredibly disappointed and quite honestly furious at the careless attitudes and us being brushed off like this. We will never be customers again and will be sure to tell others about our experience.

We were very satisfied with all who assisted in the purchase and installation of our new unit. Highly recommended.

A/C system quit cooling at 5:00 pm on a hot Texas day. I called for service and they sent Deron within a couple hours. He quickly discovered system return line for the condensation was plugged as evidenced by the bobber that was closed. He thoroughly explained in layman’s terms how to correct problem, future prevention measures and didn’t leave until system was again cooling properly. I will not hesitate to call them again, if necessary.

These guys came out on the 4th of July to fix our AC unit! It went out the night before and they had it up and running by 11AM. Very good customer service. They send a picture of the tech that is coming and their vehicle's are clearly marked, made us feel more comfortable. They send detailed information and pictures of the issue and testing with the invoice in an email.

Highly recommend! Our AC went out later in the evening (on a holiday weekend), we called and Manny was at our house within an hour. He figured out the problem and had our AC back up and running in no time. Manny was extremely knowledgeable and professional, and this company will be our 1st choice for sure in the future. Manny was great! From my first call to the company he was at my house within and hour and a half! On a Friday night! Amazing! He told me exactly what was wrong and fixed it! Thank you again Manny! I will definitely use this company again!

Not only did Manny do an excellent job servicing our HVAC system, he answered all of our questions and took the time to explain what he was doing every step of the way. As a new homeowner I really appreciate his patience and all of the information. He even discovered that the old thermostat had not been connected correctly by the previous owner and told us the impact that had on the system. Manny was on time, worked efficiently and had a cheery attitude even at our 8 am appointment! That’s more than I could do!

Well, with the heat of Texas summer upon us, our AC quit working. Called 1st Choice Air Solutions. Angela came our and diagnosed the problem very quickly. Our 22 yr old system died. Having a new system installed 1st thing in the morning. To make it through today and tonight Angela brought out 2 portable ac units at no charge. Angela was very knowledgeable, professional and a great friendly attitude. Many thanks to Angela and 1st choice for the excellent service.

Hands down the best service in the industry ! Saved me from a $1600 bill all by checking out a/c unit . That another company had already mis-diagnosed . Can’t say thank you enough. We are now a customer for life!

We had 3 companies out to assess a leak and 1st Choice was the only company to offer real solutions and options beyond a total replacement. Manny was professional and clear about every step of the service.

They honored my $39 and subtracted that for what they did for the yearly maintenance. Then I got my part for 20% off because I was one of their customers. So they did do really good. They were very professional and they gave me the old part back so I knew what it was and explained to me why they had to replace it.

The company came out and inspected the unit. He confirmed that the compressor was bad. We had another company who was a Lennox vendor replace the part. Had this company been a Lennox dealer we would have bought it from him. Over all great service and follow up.

Our AC went out in 90 degree weather on the weekend. 1st choice returned our call immediately and had a repair guy at the house within a few hours of the call. We have now used this company a few additional times and have been satisfied with the service each and every time. They are always reliable, affordable, and provide great service. Definitely the best company I've dealt with when it comes to AC work. I have tried multiple different companies before trying these guys, and I will tell you first hand that you will not be disappointed. I was tired of the other guys taking short cuts and never really addressing the problem, but when I called 1st Choice they corrected the problem and I haven't had any issues since. I would definately use this company again. He did exactly what the special included and a few things more. I really appreciated him explaining what he was doing as he was doing it. He also took the time to explain the results from his testing kit. The man who came to my house recognized me and my house saying that he had been there a long time ago when he worked for another company.

My experience was excellent. I have four units that needed to be serviced. They were right on time. I feel like most HVAC companies work on commission, which means they usually will try to sell new units, rather than fixing the old unit. This company works hourly, so they fixed three of my units with the parts they already had on the truck.

Our A/C stopped blowing cold last night before putting our baby to bed. Gave them a call and within the hour Rance was at our door. He went to the outside unit and knew exactly what it was within a minute. Replaced the capacitor and in less than 30 minutes, our A/C was blowing cold! Highly professional and knowledgeable!
