I chose The Pittsburgh Painters, because they are a reputable company with a great reputation and track record. I was very pleased with the total experience from start to finish, and highly recommend them. The end product was awesome. Their office coordinator, Jacky, did a terrific job of scheduling and coordinating between me and the painters. The crew who painted were fast and efficient, led by their crew leader Jim. He worked extremely hard and made sure everything was done just right! I am a very satisfied customer!

I hired PGH Painting to stain the entire exterior of my cedar sided home and I am beyond pleased with their work. The crew took special care to meticulously cover and protect every inch of the non-staining areas of the house, as well as my surrounding bushes and vehicles. They did a beautiful job staining the house and cleaned up the area well afterwards. Jim, Cody and his crew were professional and very pleasant to work with! I highly recommend PGH Painting Co. for your painting needs! I experienced their professionalism first, when they painted the exterior of my house, my deck, garage door, and refinished my front door. Their attention to detail is superior! Bill and his crew showed up on time each day and communicated with me every step of the way. They tightened loose boards on my deck and pounded in loose nails where needed.

I received so many compliments on the painting for a job well done! I brought them back to my house again in October 2021 to paint my entire living room and kitchen ceiling. Bill and his crew once again proved to me that their work is superior. I have a considerable amount of crown molding in my house and Bill was very meticulous and precise in the prep process and in painting. Perfection!

We have used Pittsburgh Painters for many years to paint our homes for our Property Management company in Squirrel Hill. There are few things I can say with confidence. They are always responsive; they do what they say, and I can always count on them when I am in a tight spot with a deadline. We all know that sometimes painters do not always get it done 100% and that is the nature of the beast but if we have any issues with the finished product, they take care of it immediately. The Pittsburgh Painting Company, did a fantastic job of painting the exterior my 1894 Victorian style house. They were easy to work with and I felt very comfortable through the entire process. They were even able to paint the side of the house that is literally 3-4 feet next to my neighbor's house. Other companies turned down the job due to the proximity, but they were happy to take on the challenge! Highly recommend!

The exterior of our home needed a color major color update, and after calling around to several other painting companies, Pittsburgh Painting Company not only quoted me the most reasonable price, but they got back to me within hours of submitting a quote request online. Bill was so kind, and easy to work with. He was able to quote out several different options for me as the scope of the work that needed to be done was a little out of the ordinary on the first day of the painting, the crew got right to work, and had no problem scaling our super high peaks and dormers.

We had a very detailed trim plan in place, and the guys nailed it perfectly. Our paint job turned out beautiful and modern as we hoped it would. They definitely exceeded my expectations and I'm so happy that I booked with Final Touch Painting. Highly recommend this company!

Bill and Jim were great to work with. We hired them to paint the interior of our 2,010 square foot brick ranch in the Shady Side area. They were very detail-oriented, prompt, responsive and dependable and reasonably priced. They came when they said they would and completed within the estimated time frame. They also did a great job, sanding, caulking, cleaning up after themselves and even returning to do touch-up work. We would highly recommend these guys and will be using them again for future projects!

The Pittsburgh Painting Company provided exceptional service. One of the best contractors that I have ever worked with on my very large and century old home. Bill, the estimator and contact person was immediately responsive to my request for an estimate and punctual for every meeting. The company is extremely experienced in working on older homes and included wood repair and replacement in its estimate.

I had bids from four other Angie's Listed painters and not one of the others offered this critical service. Even with this additional, critical level of service, Pittsburgh Painting Company was the lowest bidder. The crew of painters and carpenters arrived on the day scheduled and worked daily for two weeks. The workers were skilled, courteous, professional and responsive.

The carpenters recreated the scroll work at the angles of the third story Tudor panels and essentially rebuilt the facade on a second story dormer. They took great pride in their work and the result demonstrates it. The painters were precise. and neat. To say that this company was easy to work with would be an understatement. Given the size of my home, 7500 square feet, and the scope of the project, Bill was willing to break down the bid into sections of the house and carriage house so that I could do part of the project this summer and complete in in the spring of next year with the price guaranteed.

On the day the project was completed, Bill did a walk - through with me and took care of some detail work I requested. The crew did a thorough clean up, I give Pittsburgh Painting Company the highest possible recommendation. As close to a perfect contractor that I have found. One final note. The Pittsburgh Painting Company has done a lot of work in the East End of the city of Pittsburgh, and I was aware of the company because of the constant presence of their trucks in my neighborhood.

I was quite surprised that the company had so few ratings on Angie's List. I used Angie's List to identify all of the bidders for my job, including the Pittsburgh Painting Company, because I wanted to be sure I was getting bids from comparable Contractors (insured, employees not subs, etc.). Although I have received repeated requests from Angie's List to rate the other contractors that I searched on the website, I have not received any requests to rate the Pittsburgh Painting Company. I mention this so that other users of Angie's List don't limit their search to the providers with the most listings.

Bills crew was excellent in every way. He painted the entire downstairs of home which has a lot of architectural detail and dozens of divided light windows. He responded immediately to my initial inquiry, gave me a very reasonable quote within 24 hours, and started the work within weeks. Bill is punctual, dependable, honest, knowledgeable, flexible to homeowner changes, and very pleasant. I cannot recommend him enough. The Pittsburgh Painting Co. just completed our exterior work. Bill, Tom, and the rest of the crew were very impressive.
