Do your homework and find a reputable Roofing contractor instead of these storm chasers. They promise you a free roof but can leave you with years of a headache and extensive damage after their 2 year warranty is over. They employ contractors to do their work and nobody to oversee the contractors. The owner of this franchise has absolutely no experience in roofing and makes excuses for everything that goes wrong. In my case they have refused to even cover leaks after 6 months. Look at the past negative reviews. Those are the honest ones.

Do not use Storm Guard of DuPage, Westmont: After going through a tornado here in Woodridge this past June, we used Storm Guard for siding and gutters. The owner, Cedric, lacks immensely in customer service. After the job was complete, we found many problems and he offered no solutions so we had to make suggestions on how to fix things. Shouldn't the professional know how to make things right? Cedric told us the reason we are noticing things is because you look differently at a project when it's new. Really?

Huge blunders occurred like covering our dryer vent with house wrap. We used the dryer, not knowing, and luckily didn't' start a fire. No apology was offered. A different color trim was used at the roof line on one side of the house. The caulking that was done was the worst and seemed hurried. The more we looked the more we found and Cedric wanted to put an end to our punch list. Sadly, we still are finding things that we are dissatisfied with, like the siding on the back of the house is not straight. Cedric will say they fixed the problems, but why didn't' he catch them?

He wasn't around much to oversee the job. Shouldn't the owner take more pride in his company and ensure that customers are truly satisfied? We had some nail pops inside our house due to the work and got a quote from a contractor to repair. Cedric would not pay the full amount. He said his people could do it for less. We've seen what his people can do and don't want them handling finish work like this. He made us feel like we were costing him money, but when a company gets $26,000 for siding and gutters, one should get professional quality work, not slop and attitude.

Cedric was prompt, communicative, and professional from start to end of the process. His PDF quote sent via email was clear and comprehensive. The quote was very reasonable, and he even bumped me up in the schedule when he had an opening. His crew finished the roof in a single day (about 7 hours), and left the property in good condition. Highly recommend!

Marc from Storm Guard was very helpful in getting our roof replacement approved with our insurance company. First time was rejected but they helped us with a second claim and it was approved. The crew worked very hard and got the job done in one day, before some storms came in. They did a great job cleaning up too. Our new roof looks great!

Wanted to pass along a recommendation/endorsement for Chris Munro and the team at Storm Guard. A crazy storm came through at the end of June, a couple weeks after putting my house on the market. Crazy concept - buyers actually want a roof in good condition!!! I messaged Chris on Sunday evening and he and his team were checking out my roof on Monday morning.

They did a great job of walking me through next steps and setting my expectations. Due to the storm wreaking havoc across multiple residences, my insurance company didn’t have an available adjuster and asked that Chris and his team take detailed photos and document the work they were proposing. We knew our roof needed to be repaired after many wind/hail storms, . Several contractors rang our doorbell to suggest we use their company for the work, but we didn't get great vibes from most of them until one - Storm Guard of DuPage - stopped over. They took pictures of our roof to show us the damages, and our insurance company confirmed the need for the entire roof to be replaced. Marc Acerra (Storm Guard) stepped in and represented us throughout the entire process, getting all the necessary permits and working with our insurance company, saving us that extra work.

He was in constant contact with us, too, checking in and keeping things on track. Everything went as he explained it would and the work Storm Guard did was phenomenal! The replacement from start to finish only took 10 hours, and the crew cleaned up every bit of debris that landed in our yard. We're confident that the next round of storms won't affect our roof at all because of the way they installed the tiles and underlayment. Very secure and waterproof. Don't be afraid to enlist Storm Guard's assistance - they are trustworthy, professional, and are truly excellent craftsmen.

This is the 3rd roofing company that I called. The 1st company didn't show up and the 2nd was unprofessional. I wish Storm Guard had been the 1st. The employee that set up my appointment was friendly and knowledgeable. I had an emergency come up and they worked with me to get Chris Munro to my house a half hour early. The problem was not with my roof but with my gutter. Chris gave me a quote but since my gutters are under warranty with another company he suggested I call them. There was no charge. It's rare for a company to come out for free and not try to sell you something. I can't recommend this company enough. Honest people who care.

I recently got a roof replacement. Sales rep Marc persevered and did a great job of working with our insurance company Allstate to eventually get a roof replacement. New roof looks amazing! Their team came in and did it in just one day. Marc also made paperwork easy and was extremely friendly.

This group is top notch. They were constantly in communication with us throughout the entire process. We had to have a new roof, siding, screen replacements, and AC repairs due to a hail storm. The process was effortless on our part. Each group that came in to work were polite, respectful, and pleasant. But most importantly, they were experts in their fields. From the moment we met Jordan, until the final phone call, we have been nothing less than pleased.

I had roof damage from the April hail storm. Josh and Jordan were in my neighborhood and stopped at my house and asked if I would like a free assessment on my roof. I was very close to tell them no thanks, but I changed my mind and let them check it out sure enough I had hail damage. I called Liberty Mutual and got the ball rolling and within a couple of weeks Storm Guard was out here and put a new roof on my house. Storm Guard great people I highly recommend them.

Storm Guard gave me an estimate on Tuesday and did the repairs on Friday. All of the repairs were small. I found when calling around a lot of contractors will not accept small repairs. The house looks great. I also had an old rusted junk grill in the back I was too lazy to put out for bulk pickup and Jim even trashed that for me. The replacement siding pieces were a perfect match.

They have a great team! We had trouble getting a new roof from State Farm with the past 2 wind and hail storms we had in Rock Hill. Storm Guard inspected the roof, we contacted State Farm and had a new roof on within 2 weeks. It looks fantastic!! We are very happy. I'm a property manager and have worked with several roofing companies in the area. They are the best!! Highly recommend them. My neighbor told me today that it really looked great!

They did a great job on my home inside and out. It was a lengthy process with my insurance but Chris and Jim put in some serious work to make sure every detail was addressed and resolved. Every member of the team I dealt with was polite and professional. Id like to give thanks to Greg as well for the interior! If you have storm damage be sure to call these guys, before you phone your home insurance company.

Had a great experience with this company. Jim, Chris and Drax were very helpful and understanding. We had to wait for a response from HOA for 3 weeks but Storm Guard were great with follow ups without any pressure. The crew who actually did the roof replacement were also nice and professional. I'd recommend these guys to everyone who needs a roof replacement because they will guide you along the process and make sure it's done well!

It was such a pleasant and easy experience. I didn't have to hassle with my insurance company or do any leg work. They literally handled everything from the beginning of the process to the end. The sales manager was excellent. He was thorough and I felt as if he really cared if we were satisfied. It was more than just a sale for him. He followed through for the entire thing.
