I usually don't write negative review because all businesses deserve a fair chance, but I truly feel like I was mistreated by this place. Please read the other negative reviews before you call this place. I realize I am not only one who has been belittled and shut out. This place stops responding, completely ghost you once they take the money, even if the problem has not been fixed. DO NOT pay them in advance, that's the lesson I learned.

Long story short: They charge me $1100 to fix the board, which I am not sure was broken. After the "installation", the vacuum that was working, does not work. This didn't happen over time, but right after their service. I report this to them and ask for their help. Basically what they say is I complain too much and will stop the service (after taking my money and leaving a glaring problem).

To add, I never showed any disrespect, raised my voice, made up any new problems. Usually after fixing or installing, I expect someone to walk through what they had done and demonstrate the use of new product. There was NONE of that. I never asked for refund or money back. I never emailed the guy. I texted only to explain what is going on, hoping for a response.

I simply asked for follow up, not multiple visits but just one. Follow up because the new products has created a problem. They didn't return not even ONCE to look into this. After paying so much, I was hoping but they didn't even give me a bare minimum of courtesy. I have no vendetta against this place, I am just truly disappointed with their treatment, and simply sending out a warning to other home owners. As a home owners I have worked so many good businesses, this was simply bad and the ugly.

OC Pool and Spa Service replaced my old pool pump with a new variable timing pump and the technician was prompt and friendly. However, the after sale service was poor. After installation, I had a hard time registering the unit. All the numbers including serial numbers on the pump stickers were rejected by the manufacturer. I called OC Pool and Spa and they gave me a model number that was not in the manual at all.

They were also unable to answer some basic questions about pump configuration (not in manual) and I had to get the information from another dealer. Technician did a good installation job but not much of after-sale service.

Our pool heater had some issues after 17 years and OC Pool was the only company I would trust to do the service on it. Brian came out and said the gas burner had collapsed, so I knew at that point we would need a new heater. Three years ago I used another pool company for my weekly service. I asked them back then when I do need to replace the heater how much will it cost and they told me $6400.00. Knowing that estimate was too high, I switched to OC Pool for my weekly service.

Last week OC Pool's estimate to replace the heater came in at almost half that original estimate. My new heater was install two days after I gave my approval. I'm very happy with this honest company.

We are new pool owners and we were recommend OCPS by an experienced friend who used OCPS for his heater replacement install. He told us he had down a lot of research and found OCPS had the best prices and he was very happy with their service. We called them and they told us because of the high demand that no heaters were available at that time but they would keep a look out for us.

About a week or two later they called and said they had located a heater and could come do the install. Bryan showed up on-time, and installed the heater without issue and for a great price. We also asked him about an automatic valve that we knew was broken and he had the part and replaced that as well for much less than we were quoted previously.

He checked out all our systems and showed us how to use everything since we hadn't been able to use our pool/jacuzzi without the heater. He also pointed out a few other minor issues. We will definitely be asking him to come back and fix those as well. Thanks Bryan and Steve!

AMAZING SERVICE! We used OCPS for 15 years at our prior address. I wish I could post 10/10 stars! I can't say enough good things about this company. Always professional. The pool maintenance worker always did a superb job--water always crystal clean and refreshing. We have had parties and needed them to come out on an emergency and they never let us down.

We just moved about a year ago to a new home with a pool. OCPS was obviously the first choice. I called them and they came out in days to start work again on our new pool and their service is bar none, again! Thank you OCPS. Keep up the excellent work.

Steve responded to my heater problems immediately. We scheduled his technician, Brian, who was able to diagnose and fix problem the day he came out. The following week I had my pool pump changed to a more efficient pump. Brian came out installed the unit. It's perfect, everything is aligned perfectly and works flawlessly. I am extremely happy with OCPS and have been using them for years I will use them whenever I have pool Equiptment issues.

Steve offered amazing customer service, he was clear and fair with pricing. Brian the tech was professional and very thorough. My experience with both Steve and Brian will ensure that they will be my first call for my pool drama. Daniel

My 18-year-old Raypak finally died so OCPH - Brian came out right away and though it had been a few years he remembered our house. He checked it out and gave me two options, a quick fix that will be limited or bite the bullet and get a new heater so we got a new Hayward. Plus Steve hooked us up with the SCE $400 rebate so not all bad. of course, the install was great - Thank Brian

I wish to thank OCPS for providing great pool service. I have serviced my own pool for the past 20 years. What was I thinking? I never was placing the right amount of chemicals in the pool. the pool had algae a lot of the time. It sometimes over smelled with chlorine and had a lot of calcium deposits around the water fall area. I saw OCPS in this site and decided to give them a try.

I highly recommend this company to clean your pool. OCPS literally saved me from a pool disaster. My last pool cleaners were complete losers. I cannot clean the pool myself because of my busy schedule and I would not know what to do. My last pool cleaners were horrible. They were always messy. The left the gate open when complete. The pool was not always clear.

New pool owner.new pool heater.new pool service company. We recently purchased a new home with an old pool and a really old pool heater. My wife called a OCPS to see if they could install a new pool heater and how much for a new unit. After researching the cost online decided to go with OCPS and scheduled an install the following week. The owner, Brian showed up on time, was courteous and respectful.very knowledgeable about his trade.

As a new pool owner, Brian was able to answer my many questions walk me through what to expect with my new system. He explained that I will probably need to plan on getting a new pool filter at some point, and that my pump and motor should be OK for a while. They offered me a couple of options for the installation and orientation of the heater. The heater is a nice, new Hayward 400k BTU and Brian took pride in the installation taking the time to make everything look nice and new.

He even spray painted the pipes and timer enclosure. We couldn't be happier. We will most likely ask Orange County Pool and Spa to clean our pool every week on a monthly basis. Great to know that there are still a few quality companies out there that do the job right the first time. Thanks again.

I am entirely satisfied with the services I have received from Orange County Pool & Spa. I hired them about two years ago after repeatedly paying my old poolguy to replace the pipes coming off the heater which kept melting.

Decided to give these guys a try after some less than excellent experiences with other companies. They replaced a timer at my rental, couldn't be happier. Great service and communication. Will definitely use them in the future.

My pool had seen better days and it was becoming an embarrassment when I would entertain. I was referred to orange county pool and spa by a neighbor who had been using their services. They came outand acid washed my pool, adjusted the water PH, etc. My pool looks brand new. Now my other neighbors are asking me how, who, etc. The only regret I have is, I didn't do it sooner.

I am quite impressed with the professionalism and promptness of service from Orange County Pool and Spa Services. They are not only affordable, but fair in every way I can think of. The promptness of their service is something I really enjoy because they show regard and respect for your time.

I got more than my money's worth & if you have trouble with your present company, hire this company and you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend Orange County Pool & Spa! They do their job damn well and their services are perfect.

I was so happy to discover Orange County Pool and Spa Service this past year. They are professional, very responsive, and very helpful. Their work is top-notch, I could rely on them to take care of opening the pool, cleaning it every week, fix a leaky liner, and closing it up--making the whole swimming season a breeze for me.

So happy I contacted this company to fix my broken pool light. The previous technician from another company said it could not be replaced and I would have to dig up concrete.
