I have used Totta Hardwood for several flooring projects. Always professional and get the job done right and on time.

After reviewing our community Facebook group for hardwood floor companies, I noticed Totta Hardwoods name mentioned multiple times by different people. I went to their website and sent in an inquiry for pricing. I was contacted the next day to set up a survey appointment and a proposal was provided promptly afterwards. The approval was sent in on 11/17/21 and (by our request) the work was completed 1/28/22 as we did not want the project to happen during the holidays.

Prior to our project starting, there was a designer and Totta representative that came to the house to review finish colors (by sanding and staining 4 samples on the existing floor). This allowed us several days to look at the samples with different lighting levels and make our decision. Once the project was underway, Alex (the installer) communicated his arrival time and met to locate water shut-off and the breaker panel as well as familiarize himself with the house.

We decided to stay with family during our project and Alex communicated his progress regularly. Our project consisted of refinishing existing hardwoods as well as lacing in new hardwood flooring in areas previously covered by carpet (before and after photo of dining room included). For anyone considering a hardwood floor project, I would strongly recommend Totta. It is a family business and they make you feel like your business is important to them.

Mike and crew installed, stained and finished our kitchen/dining/living room with solid oak flooring. Just stunningly beautiful. We arranged to be out of town the week they worked and they were on time starting and completing. I had a newel post that had to be worked around and they removed/reinstalled it better than it was. The stain color matched the stair skirts that had to match exactly. Superb craftsmanship.

We had our floors refinished this summer, and WOW were we impressed! Randy and Ker'son did our floors and we can't say enough good things about their work ethic and abilities. I'm still getting compliments on how amazing my floors look. I have recommended Totta to all of my friends and would recommend them to any of you looking to have your floors done or refinished!

My first review on anything: Totta Hardwoods refinished our floors and installed hardwood in 2 rooms. The professionalism from everyone we were in contact with is extremely refreshing. The installers Jordan and Damien were awesome. They showed up on time everyday, got to work, explained what they were doing and why. The project was delayed one day because they weren't happy with the way a section of the floor looked, I couldn't see a difference, but. I'm glad they did. If you want your floors to look the best, hire Totta -10 stars. Dennis

It's a big decision to have your floors redone but Totta Hardwoods made my decision so worthwhile. Attention to detail was excellent and Alex was a professional in every manner. It was refreshing to finally hire a business that was true to their word.

The experience with Totta Hardwoods was amazing. From the very first estimate visit to the completion of the floors, I was pleased with the courtesy, efficiency, quality of workmanship and overall care of my wood floors. It was magical to observe how they laced into existing 15-year-old floors, sanded the old and new and stained the entire area that now looks brand new!

We absolutely love our hardwood floors! We had Totta add new hardwood to part of our main level and refinish the existing hardwood. They were professional, friendly and experienced. When we made a last minute change to the color, Jordan and Sam helped walk through all the different options and gave their helpful opinions. I very much appreciated how timely they were each day and how clean they left the work area at the end of the day. We would recommend Totta to anyone looking for hardwood work.

Would not recommend. Mike forgot that my wood came in to install and I had to wait an absurd amount of time to have the wood floor repaired. The repair job wasn't fully completed and guy had to return to fill his nail holes he left on a tongue and groove floor. Gaps between boards were left. Mike wouldn't respond to questions about the quality of the work his company performed.

Our floors where built in 1939 oak floor, the previous owner put linoleum down on part of the floor. Totta took up the linoleum and refinished all the oak floors in the living room and hall way. They are beautiful, I think they look more beautiful than they were when they were put down. Just guessing I am not that old. We had our kitchen floors refinished by a different company a year ago and Totta's makes those floors look like they didn't finish them, so I am having them come back out and redo the kitchen floors so they look as beautiful as the living room floor. They did a GREAT job! Will never use anyone else to finish the other floors in my house.

November 18, 2020 My husband and I had Totta Hardwoods put wood flooring in our home. We could not be happier with the richness and craftsmanship of the finished product. Supervisor Will and his partner, Micheal were professional courteous and true artisans of their craft. They worked very hard and always cleaned up before leaving for the day. We could not be happier with the excellent work they provided and would not hesitate to use this company again. Bette and John

True craftsmanship is alive & well. A few months ago we contacted Totta Hardwoods to give us their opinion on if the hardwood floors we uncovered in our rental were salvageable & to give us advice on some. termite damaged boards. With skill, expertise (& I think a little magic) they transformed our original 97 year old heart pine floors. The process.

After my husband & I removed 4 layers of flooring in the kitchen (carpet, red linoleum, white linoleum & plywood), we discovered that a portion of the wood floors had originally been part of a porch. Seth, our floor guru, took some of those porch boards and laced them into termite damaged floors in the living room/dining room areas. New pine.

This company charges $50 to come out and and measure a room with a laser. The "professional" stood in the middle of the room, pointed his laser, plugged the dimensions in computer and it kicked out a quote. I could have easily given dimensions over the phone if their time is that much more valuable than mine. This business philosophy from a service company is definitely not one that I am interested in participating with.

By the way, for $50 you do not even get to keep color samples or get advice. I am still trying to figure out what I spend my hard earned money for. Perhaps I am just disappointed with myself that I let this thief in the door. Live and lean. I thought my $50 would come with some sort of service or benefit to me.

Our family will forever be grateful for the hardworking guys at Totta Hardwoods. From project start to finish, the character and craftsmanship of the employees were impressive. We had our mixed width walnut floors hand scraped and finished with Impact Oil and could not be happier with the result. It is so refreshing to see a company so committed to their craft and to creating a posistive experience for their customer. Thanks so much!

We used Totta Flooring to refinish current hardwood and add new hardwood in other connecting rooms. We are more than pleased with our new flooring. The entire process was great. They were so professional and the finished product is incredible! We feel so much happier in our home now that it is updated with a color and finish we love!

Totta ripped out my old carpet, tile, and dated looking maple hardwoods and installed 5 Oak Planks at a very reasonable price. I have to admit that there were some concerns throughout the project, but all I had to do was contact Mike and he addressed all of them. I watched the project closely because, well, it's my home, and not cheap. The final. outcome was stunning!

We love our new floors and were thrilled when the whole project was complete by day 7. 3 months later, I reached out to Totta again for a quote on some damage from a newly installed dishwasher, he was prompt with another quote. Even after the project, they are still quick to respond! Nice Job Guys!

Randy and team are finishing my final touches today. They started and finished exactly on schedule keeping me up to date with the schedule on a daily basis. They were professional and clean throughout the whole process of refurbishing my hardwood and my new floors are beautiful!

Absolutely don't waste your money with this company. Within a couple of weeks of having our floors done by Totta the sealant started pealing up and the filler started coming out. They did come out and redo the filler then eventually agreed to redo the sealant. They told us they had gotten a bad product. We had a horrible time confirming dates with them as they did not respond to multiple calls and emails.

When they redid the sealant a majority of the filler came out and they did not replace any of it. The floors look worse than they did before. When we emailed them our frustrations they completely ignored the problems about the filler and said they would work on their response time. I've had it with them. I just wanted the floors done correctly one time for all the money we paid, but apparently Totta can't handle that.

The Totta team did an excellent job refinishing our kitchen/breakfast room hardwood floors. They were able to provide an excellent match to the color of the adjoining hardwood floors. Their price was less than other companies I called; they arrived on time and completed the job on time. There was hardly no dust or mess. I highly recommend Totta Hardwood Flooring.

Couldn't be happier with the job done on our floors! The high gloss is just beautiful. I would recommend Totta Hardwood to everyone. The guys who were here every day were friendly and warm. They indulged me with a lot of requests I had pertaining to our dogs. They deserve their A classification on Angie's List!

Awesome experience. Highly recommend. Local company. Spent a month or so interviewing companies and met Mike at home show. Came to house and gave a precise timely bid. Entire team we came in contact with was. polite, responsive and overall just nice. Work is beautiful. And we could not be happier. We recommend. And will use again if we do more in the future.

Looks like we've always had wood and the finish is holding up great against the four dogs running around. Price was good and the quality was even better. If I ever build a house we'll just have them come out and do it up right from the start.

Randy and team have done floors on two levels of my home with phenomenal results both times. I have a very difficult older home where nothing is level - the old flooring ranged from subfloor to cement which required jack-hammering up to prep for hardwood. In addition, I requested a herringbone pattern in two rooms. The result is beautiful and the floors are the star of the reno job to date. I would happily recommend Totta to anyone with a challenging job in an older home.

We chose them because out of three different hardwood contractor bids, these guys presented themselves as the most professional - they even did moisture readings on our damaged floors to ascertain the damage, and determine the path to take to repair the. floors. Randy and Kyle recently refinished my floors. They were very conscientious in moving my furniture to the garage, putting plastic up, keeping the dust down! and the floors looked wonderful raw. They were so helpful in finding just the right finish for me and made lots of samples on the floor before I could make a decision. Everything they did was. quality work.

Tyler and Mario did a fantastic job on refinishing our hardwood floors. Due to other jobs and scheduling, they got a later start than planned, but still finished the job in the projected timeframe and were very pleasant to work with and very professional.

Mike and Totta Hardwoods were great to work with and displayed flexibility in meeting our condominium home owner regulations. Our property manager was especially impressed with their professionalism and process because she received no complaints about fumes that normally accompany a hardwood floor refinishing project.

Mike and his team worked quickly and on short notice. We had some termite and water damage on our floors. Mike and his team were able to weave new boards in to make it look seamless. Our floors are gleaming!
