Both times I've gone with McDonald Plumbing have been great. Great price, quick and professional work, and great communication to make sure they've got it done the way you want it done. Recently had them out to redo the water supplies and drains in a bathroom remodel and they were done in a day with an impressive amount of high quality work.

I was very pleased with McDonald Plumbing's quick response to fixing a leaky toilet as well as fixing a bathroom faucet and shower faucet. "Brandon" and "Sean" called me about 20 minutes prior to our scheduled appointment to let me know they were on their way. They were very professional and quickly completed the needed work in a timely manner. I was surprised they had a brand-new replacement toilet on their truck! I highly recommend McDonald Plumbing!

A leak was discovered at the main shut off valve at my mother-in-law's house. Fortunately her neighbor was able to stop the leak (tenuous at best) and I was called to take care of it. As this was city water and I had seen their trucks and crew around, for years really, I called McDonald Plumbing. Mr. McDonald came out the next day and with a very professional yet courteous demeanor, explained to me what had to be done.

I agreed. A day later ( I couldn't be there) their crew came out, dug a deep hole in the front yard, ran a new pipe to the basement and installed a new shut off valve. My mother-in-law is quite elderly and holds high expectations and was absolutely delighted with the whole process and end result! Not to mention the very reasonable cost. I will recommend them any time.

We usually use a different plumbing service which we are extremely happy with. Because of spring break our usual plumbing service was short handed, which meant we were going to have to wait over a week to have the work done. Wanting to get our new sink functional sooner, we decided to try Mc Donald plumbing. They were able to respond within a couple days, so we decided to schedule the work to be done.

All of the individuals I talked with were professional and friendly. We are also satisfied with the quality of the work. However, when I was given the on-site quote, I was taken aback. $515 to have a faucet installed and the drain installed ( no disposal involved) seemed excessive to me. But since they were here and we wanted to get the kitchen sink operational, I decided to have them complete the work. I would not recommend them solely based on cost. I will probably not use them in the future. Too bad. They seem to be a good organization.

Contacted McDonald Plumbing to fix a plumbing leak. Two plumbers came on time, gave me a quote that was very reasonable before starting the job, fix the problem in an hour. It's been over two weeks and my plumbing is working fine, no leaks. Very satisfied with their service. Will definitely call on them again for any plumbing issues.

We had McDonald install a natural gas line for a fireplace insert. The biggest challenge was creating the route that met requirements. Crew leader Brandon explained everything clearly from the start, made a great plan and executed to the highest level of satisfaction. Cutting a way into the chimney was a challenge that slowed the work. But they came back the next day and zipped it up. The invoice even came in about 5.5% under the estimate. Great job!

They were quick, effective, and met our needs. The job looks great, and functions just as well. I probably would hire them again if I needed a plumber. As far as prices go, I have nothing to compare it to. I felt like it was a lot, but we had a big job for them. The township suggested McDonald Plumbing. If we went with anyone else it would be just so we had someone else to compare services to. They did a good job.

I am a general contractor that does residential remodeling and used this firm for the mandatory conversion from well to municipal water. This firm was very communicative about the timeframe, set up the appointments and showed up on time for the estimate and service. They were respectful of our home and did a good job of protecting flooring from the entry door to the work area and cleaned up after themselves very well. The quality of work they did was also indicative of people that take pride in their trade.

Our neighborhood is involved in the Wolverine PFAS well contamination. McDonald Plumbing connected municipal water from the newly installed hydrant to our home. The team did an excellent job. All the guys on the crew were timely, professional, friendly, thorough, explained everything as they progressed and answered all our questions. The job site outdoors was repaired and cleaned up as well as they could.

Inside the house, rugs were placed in all walk through areas and the guys were very respectful and fast. We have had no issues with our installation and would highly recommend McDonald Plumbing to anyone needing this service.

Fantastic service! Both the guy who came out to do the repair estimate and the team that actually performed the repair were top-notch. All were friendly and informative, and the repair team even went the extra mile cleaning up and making the filled in hole outside look good. I recently reached out to McDonald Plumbing with the heavy rain that fell for about a week straight. I came to find out our sump pump failed and we had about an inch of standing water in our basement. With it still down pouring we knew we had to act quickly. From the moment I called McDonald, the representative we spoke with was sympathetic and gathered basic info to get to a team leader on the phone immediately (stayed on the phone with me while transferring).

The team lead spoke to me within a few minutes and sent a crew within hours to take a look at the pump and assess the damage. The two technicians that came out were knowledgeable, patient, courteous with our home, and acted quickly. Within an hour we had a new sump pump working and the water receded quickly (they also pinned the wires professionally so they would not be damaged, they treated our home as if it were theirs).

I will be recommending them for all plumbing needs in the future to anyone we can. From start to finish, what a great group of people who generally care about you and have years of expertise to get the job done right. Kudos to those technicians whom came as well who worked tireless hours for many other homes as well.

They came out to my house to clear a drain on a Sunday night, I apologized for having them show up. They were only there about 2 minutes and cleared the clog. Had the same issue about a month later, after messing with it myself for a few hours I decided to call them.
