I submitted a request for someone to come and look at our roof. And Zach showed up. He was very friendly and informative. Gave us some information on our current roof and improvements that could be made to help remedy some issues we're currently having. Shared with us a lot of info of the process and details about materials and what we could expect. Truly appreciated Zach and his time. We are so happy to get our roof replaced! Highly recommended!

Called to get an estimate to have a small portion of my siding replace. Representative showed up and informed me that they have a $5k minimum but he would measure and email me the quote. Provided my email and never heard back. Followed up 2 weeks later, and phone rep was apologetic and said that he would have the Rep who came to my house call me to follow up. Again. heard nothing. Followed up 2 weeks later, and phone rep again apologized that no one followed up with me, mentioned that my job quote was $2200 but that they had a $5k minimum.

When I asked why again the quote wasn't emailed to me, even with this information, I was made to feel like I was not worth their time because the job was small so they didn't follow up. Poor customer service. Poor follow up. Unprofessional. Would not recommend.

UPDATE The new roof is done and looks great! No issues with the work itself, the installers did a good job cleaning everyday. The only issue is the communication from the office about when the project would start. If you're mostly home and readily available then it's fine but if you're taking time of work it would be a problem. Shoot for the dry months for replacement.

For about 3 weeks we got excuses as to why they couldn't start, ie; some materials haven't arrived, but we were told that on the day it was supposed to start; it's raining, they're behind from another job. I would recommend Legit Exteriors for the quality workmanship. Hopefully the communication issue is a one-time thing, or maybe it's just the person we dealt with?

Our roof replacement is scheduled 10-12 weeks out so no actual work has been performed but, right off the bat meeting with sales rep Chris S was fantastic. He was polite, clean and professional. He gave us a fair bid and was great with follow-up questions, which we had lots of. Can't wait for the new roof. Will update once the work is completed. I would recommend getting a quote from Legit Exteriors for roofing needs.

So far so good! Chris came out to give us a quote for a roof replacement and took the time to review any questions I had. He was patient with everyone involved in this major decision, has a good sense of humor, and was not pressuring us in any way. Will update along the way as we await the project team to schedule the work.

Legit roofing did an excellent job putting on a new roof for our home. The quote was extremely competitive, and Chris our sales person was knowledgeable and patient. Josh made sure all of our questions and calls got put through right away, and was an amazing liaison! David one of the crew supers was on every little detail, and made sure everything done was picture perfect.

Our crew was amazing, they cleaned up every night before going home taking special care to keep our dogs safe from nails, staples and sharp objects. The crew always had a smile on their faces, and were super helpful with questions as well. Legit went ABOVE AND BEYOND and they score a perfect 10 for a job done with excellence and care! Legit installed a roof in 2019 before I purchased the home. The smart vent system made by Owens Corning was included, but the system doesn't work due to air flow blockage verified by several roofing companies. Legit has refused to honor their workmanship warranty, go through the procedure for disputes in their contract, or to reimburse for the cost of necessary repairs. I do not recommend this company!

Updating my post from last November. Due to the fall/winter weather and a long list of customers my roof couldn't be replaced until February but it was worth the wait. Justin kept in touch to update me on how soon the work could be started and called prior to the first day to let me know what to expect. The crew was incredibly polite and cleaned up after each day. Justin came out to inspect and take photos from the top of the roof so I could see the work and it's beautiful.

She, her next door neighbor and her neighbor across the street all had their roofs replaced by Legit, and she loved their work. They cleaned everything up and even used something to get all the debris up from the ground. She only found 2 missed dropped nails after they were done!

I had the inspection today and Mark M. was very thorough, even laying on his back to get photos of the unused portion of a narrow, low attic area. Mark gave me a quote that was reasonable and I didn't feel any pressure to sign with them. I'll post again if/when I use them. They are busy - they have a backlog and won't be able to do the work for 6-8 weeks; that must be a good sign they're that in demand.

I initially contacted Legit because of the Platinum Warranty through Corning and since there are only a handful of roofers in the Portland metro area that have that cetification. Chris from Legit showed up after normal business hours to accomodate my schedule, which I appreciated. He was the only consultant that inspected the attic, which revealed some water damage, which allowed him to give a more realiatic price with frwer surprises after the roof is complete.

He came up with a price on the spot, unlike other places that take a day or two to come back. Better yet he was willing to work with me on price. Overall I was very pleased with his professionalism, open communication, roof inspection, and the final quote he gave. The roof was completed 3 weeks ago and it's truly a perfect roof. The entire neighborhood loves it. It's straight as an arrow and solid. We couldn't be happier! Would definitely recommend to someone looking for a quality roof with a great warranty.

Wow. Just wow. Worst company I have *ever* dealt with. They spent more time telling me what they don't do than what they do. We don't paint. We don't do interior work. We can't fix subflooring. (He did backpeddle and would do subfloor repairs) We had them out twice and the first guy came off like a used car salesman. I contacted the company and then Ryan came out and it ended up being the same used-car salesman attitude.

After they measured he has a piece of paper with two numbers on it. No specs. No nothing and he was expecting me to sign right there. I told him I can't sign right now I have other bids coming in. He says why not? Why can't you sign this right now? Again I told him I have other bids coming in. He then says how long have you been waiting for their numbers?

A few days. Why couldn't they give you numbers right away like we do? At that point I told him we're done. There's no way I would ever let them touch anything on my house. How they got all these reviews I have no idea because this part of the process was absolutely ridiculous when he can't even give me the respect to consider the other offers I have coming in from other highly respected contractors. Do not waste a phone call. But, if you do, have witnesses with you.

Just had a full roof done. They did a great job and were very professional. Took them 2 days to tear off and lay a whole new roof down. Very clean and tidy crew haven't found any trash or nails left behind. Would definitely reccomend and use again.

I had one of their sales people come to my house, Tucker. He was great and helped me come up with a great solution to my roof problem. He was very easy to work with and helped me understand the best way to get what I wanted.

I've had two experiences with Legit. The first was decent, though expensive. My roof and part of my eaves were replaced. They did do a decent job. The edge of the roofing, just above the gutters, looks uneven, but the neighbors say the roof looks great so I won't worry. (semi flat roof) The second job, a repair of a deck's roof, did not happen.

The reason was that for three consecutive times the roofers didn't show up and no call was sent to say why. Three times. I had to call the company each time to ask what was going on. First time I was told they'd be out two weeks later. Second time I was told the foreman had been sick and it was going to rain that day. And on third time the excuse was that an unexpected meeting came up.

None of these times did anyone from the business call me to tell me they couldn't make it! Yes, my 2nd project was small, but just like you, reader, I still had obligations elsewhere that I had to delay because of the appts. made with this company. I don't have time for no-shows. Do you? Similar non-updates/no shows occurred while I was waiting for the roof and eaves to be done.

I had put a $10,000 deposit down on a $36,000 project. I was anxious to get the job done as the roof had rot in it so I didn't complain about the lack of schedule updates. Some of the delays were for rain so one could guess no one was going to arrive. Still, an update is common curtesy. As noted above, they did complete the roof. They say they will reimburse me my deposit. I hope there's no need to call again and find out where it is.

Legit showed up on time for appointment that was made at home show. Sales person was knowledgeable about products and services.

I set up an appointment to have them come and give me a bid on repairing a leaky 2nd story dormer roof. Two young men arrived on time, didn't introduce themselves, had no business cards or even a pencil to make notes or take measurements. I showed them the area of concern from the patio below and they stood there with their hands in their pockets and decided that the area in question was installed improperly.well, yeah, it was leaking.

This is a 2nd story roof we're talking about. One of the men said ".well, if I had to bring all of my guys out here to do this it would be really expensive." They went on to say that it was really too small of a job for them, that's why it would be expensive and they "really didn't do repairs and perhaps if I called a handyman he could do it for a couple of hundred dollars." I guess I look poor and don't have any money.

I mentioned that their website said they do repairs and was told ".yeah, I don't know why they say that." They didn't go on the roof, measure anything or even offer to give me a bid.they didn't want to be bothered. They clearly only wanted the job if I wanted to have the entire roof replaced. When I made the appointment, they should have said they don't do repairs or smaller projects rather than wasting my time.

I would have called someone else. I have a leak and need my roof repaired and am willing to pay good money to have it done. Clearly I will never consider this company for anything based on their lack of professionalism and non-existent customer service. And I will tell all my friends.

Sales rep explained I would get a discount if they can place a sign in my yard advertising their company. The sales rep even called his boss in front of my wife and I to make sure he can offer that deal. Later after the roof was installed nobody came to put the sign. I asked about the sign and the rep on the phone said we don't have to if we don't want to.

It made me question what kind of deal they were really giving us. Pretty shady in my opinion. I will say this - my ignorance is not their fault. I participated in the exchange with out doing my due diligence. My house is 1200sqft ranch style and charged me 10k while not removing the old roof. On a positive note the team they contracted out (not legit roof employees) did a great job. And the roof dose look very nice.

Got a bid and their offer was over double from other competitors. I asked them for their best price up front. I then showed them offers from competitors and only then were they were willing to reduce their price. Looking at other reviews, multiple people seem to be saying the same thing. I went with another competitor.

Spencer L. came out to give us an estimate. He was on time, cordial, and presented their products very thoroughly. High quality and fair prices. I look forward to getting our roof installed by them.

This company does random, uninvited door-to-door marketing of their services. Which, for me, is a sure sign this is NOT a 'legit' company. When the time comes and I do need a new roof, I will not be contacting them.

Absolutely the best and easiest company to work with. From sales, site review, and finished product, we couldn't be more pleased. The two man roofing crew of Rick and Imelio completed the job in a day and a half with everything cleaned up. If you need a high quality roofigng job by a high caliber team, Legit Roofing is the only company you need to remember.

From the very beginning, Legit roofing offered us detailed quotes, multiple options for a roof replacement, and quality communication. They really took the time to explain the products being used, to go over details (did we want exposed flashing in the valleys, what kind of vent details did we want, and so on). We also challenged them by asking for three very different quotes - two different architectural and a metal option - and they came through in hours for us.

When the work began, they were very fast, efficient and amazingly clean - we only found one staple in the yard after they were done. We were really impressed with the quality of the work and the attention to detail the team had. They were also great to work with, communicating with us at every step, coordinating around the weather, and making sure our house was protected at all times. I highly recommend Legit Roofing.

My roof was originally put on when the home was built back in 1998. The bad wind storm from a couple of years ago really did a number on it. I had a few guys come out and give me estimates and show their product. I was sold on a Gaff roof but knew their roofs were really expensive. Several of the estimates were for Gaff materials but some were super spendy. Legit Roofing was the only company that was willing to do a "recovery ".

This means that they don't strip the old roof so you can save money by not paying for that labor and the cost associated with dumping the old material. I paid around 10000 grand for mine last June and I love it. I had them put in the Gaff Ridge Line vent system and it really help keep the home cooler last summer. I also asked them to do my shed so the roofs matched. The installation was pretty fast. They took most of one day. They were also able to squeeze me in faster because of a cancellation a few days after We signed the paperwork.

During the bid process David Hazelton suggested a fix for old nagging problemcaused by a flat roof over the front porch that caught and pooled water and had leaked at one time in the past. The fix was done by adding a new pitch at a reasonable price solving the problem. The new roof looks great. The crew as efficient and cleaned up after both day one and job completion.

My house is a low slope roof and had tar and gravel as the original roof, with a white coating that was put on later on. I have a feeling that the house has never had a proper re-roofing. I have contacted different roofing contractors in Vancouver WA, but ether they would not call back or they felt they could not do the job.

I would recommend Legit Roofing because their estimates were reasonable and they finished our roof before scheduled. Everyone I interacted with was friendly.

Outstanding job on my roofing project. Tom followed up on a quote from last year, come to the house, his experienced eye updated the quote with what was required, including high quality GAF products and offered all the appropriate options and proved a competitive price.

I had some areas under dormer eves where critters were chewing their way into the house. I had two roofers come and look at my roof. One agreed to do the work but never showed and after a few calls I gave up. Called Legit and they came out the next day. Fixed my issue in a few hours and for a very reasonable rate. I'll definitely be calling them back when it's time for a full roof replacement.

Legit did a great job for a fair price. I also optioned for a solar tube light installation while they were here; really happy with that! They did a complete tear off and install on the roof in two days.

I am in desperate need of a roof but due to a disability I am unable to afford one. I have tried to save money towards replacing mine over a period of years but due to the cost of medical insurance to pay for the prescriptions that sustain my life along with all the other curve balls we are all thrown, I have been unable.

I had legit roofing install a roof at my rental house. Even though it was a rental I still wanted top quality since I have no plans to sell the home. Of the three bids I received Legit was the only one that met me on site an explained the process.

We needed a complete replacement roof. Our ventilation was so bad once the roof was torn off all of the plywood needed to be replaced. Legit was so great to work with. They did a fantastic job and quick, in the heat. The cleanup was amazing considering all of the plywood was thrown into a pile on the front lawn. The trailer was in the street so it had to be moved from the lawn to the trailer and handled multiple times. No debris, nails, etc left around. Roof looks fantastic and ridgeline vent is so awesome. Highly recommend these guys.

No body is perfect. What set a good company from the crowd is how to fix its misstep. Legit missed their job appointment but they apologized and came back next day on time and did an outstanding job. This is the type of business that makes me think of the good old days. This is a company that puts customer satisfaction on top of their list.
