Ivan's Painting

Ivan never oversaw the work. Surface was not prepped. Only 1 thick coat of paint was used. Paint looked great first 9 months. Then it began to flake off. Was repaired twice. Then workers said Ivan said he would no longer repair. Large patches flaked off. Finally I had to have it repaired, sealed and repainted by another company. This time the owner is also actively working and overseeing all work.

Quality job, reasonably priced. The start of the work was somewhat delayed due to COVID, but that's understandable in current conditions. Once started, the job was completed in a timely and professional manner. Recommended. For reference, the job was exterior paining of a 2300 sq.ft. house, including a few exterior areas and fences.

Here is what I liked about Ivan's Painting. The owner came to provide a quote. Was professional and wore a mask. His quote was reasonable, and he provided a thorough review of what the quote covered. He was able to schedule me quickly and did a great job following up to confirm the day. The painters: Carlos and Ivan (not the owner) were always on time and got right to work.

They didn't take smoke breaks or waste time. The first day, they did a fantastic job of cleaning up and putting everything back in the front of the house. Overall, they did an excellent job with the paint and the house looks great! Here is what I did not like. Ivan (not the owner) made rude and insensitive comments to me while here. I was told by the owner when he came out for the quote that they would move heavy items and yet Ivan (painter/not the owner) said that I could move them for a good workout, which I took as an insult.

I ended up moving the items I could lift and the next day they moved furniture from one area of the yard to another. I indicated that doesn't go here and that I moved some of the furniture inside the house. His comment to me was "we are used to our clients being lazy." WOW! So much for trying to help out. Another thing I did not care for is that I was working from home as they were aware of. Ivan started banging on my office door while on the phone with another Dr.

It was difficult to hear, and I asked him to stop. I also noticed that they like to blast music while working. I never asked them to turn it down as I felt this was temporary, but it was distracting. After they left, I noticed paint on my brand-new Iron door, which won't come out. Some of my screens were hung backwards, which I will have to change around, and my screen door has paint dusting on half the door.

Ivan's team was prompt, courtesy and responsible. They came on time and did the job in a professional manner. I would highly recommend their services to the community. Service: Exterior painting

We hired Ivan's and they just finished house today. We are extremely pleased! We were provided a professional quote and Ivan explained the entire process and what to expect. His crew showed up every day for three days by 7 -730 am and worked hard all day. They appropriately draped all of our personal items and cleaned up all of their mess at the end of the job.

I contacted Ivans Painting for an estimate to do exterior paint on my home, which was responded to quite rapidly. They came out and gave me a great quote, but explained there was a part of the job they couldn't do ( I needed some wood repair to the fascia) I went with another painter, as a result (they stated they could do the wood repair) however their work was very sub par, so much so, that I had them stop painting.

I contacted Ivans Painting, once again, they came out, gave me a quote that was BELOW their original quote and went to work the next day, completing the job AND doing some work to the fascia to make it look nice. Ivan’s painting was a great experience. Ivan and his crew showed up early as scheduled, were meticulous in prepping for the job and took their time painting. They did not prep and paint in one day, they took 4 days to exceed my expectations. They were a little more than all other quotes, but we got a much better paint job. The attention to detail, they walked the home looking for every aspect to make sure the hose and perimeter wall was 100% done.

We are very happy with the paint job done by Ivan's Painting.not only were the workers friendly and efficient, but the prep job was fantastic. All cracks were sealed with acrylic material, even small ones, and after a rain delay the finished job looks fantastic. But the greatest thing was the absolute attention to detail.they removed rocks from around the foundation and painted the entire stucco there, and also made sure that no paint got where it shouldn't by wrapping windows, doors, etc.

As a bonus, and not in the contract, they sprayed our iron grates and gates black, making the finished job look spectacular! We highly recommend this company to anyone interested in a great-looking job!

Little Ivan and Oscar painted our house. They did a excellent job! The whole process was real easy and Ivan the owner gave me a quick estimate. He was easy to get a hold of and price was better than any of the 4 estimates we got. They don't cut corners. Everything was done maticoulous and professional. Now we are going to have them paint one of our bedrooms. Would recommend to anyone!

We have used Ivan's Painting for three different projects. These included painting the exteriors of two homes and the interior of one. Ivan's crew always does a fantastic job. Of the three companies I asked for estimates, Ivan was the only one to actually write me an estimate for the work I wanted done. Painting was perfect. I asked if they could touch up and color match a few areas of stucco that had been damaged a while back. This was a near impossible task given that I didn't have the original paint, and the sun had faded the color.

This is the third job Ivan's Painting as done at our house. An exterior painting of the house and two interior paint jobs. Every job as been done in a first class manner with first class materials and first class crews. The customer service is second to none from Ivan personally all the way down to the crew that did the work.

Ivan and all of his crew did an absolutely fantastic job on our house. They were very attentive to the details. If it was too windy there was no attempt to work because of the overspray. Juan did an incredible job on the cracks. If I had know Ivan when we had the inside painted 5 years ago this review would have been done years ago.

Ivan painted our stucco house three years ago. Prior to painting there were dozens of cracks in the stucco. I recently did a walk-around looking for evidence of cracks, and found none. Nor did I see any issues with the paint appearance. I believe spray application is superior to brush or roller.
