Classic Hardwood Floors

I recently used Classic Hardwood Floors/ Joe Wallace, to install hardwood floors in my home. I could not be more pleased with the results. Ryan did the demolition of the existing carpet, the prepping of the floor, the hardwood floor installation and the refinishing of the existing floor in my house. Ryan was courteous, professional, exact, detail minded and did not mind answering any questions I had. Thank you for going the "extra mile" to do an excellent job.

Joe was referred to me by a friend, said he did great work. So happy I made that call! Joe responded quickly and was able to fit our wood floor into his schedule for a fill and sand. Joe's guy, Mike, did a superb job! He worked hard and didn't stop until he was done. The floor looks great! Couldn't be happier! Being in the construction industry I am used to delays, excuses and adequate workmanship. This was not the case here for sure. I could not have been more impressed with the entire process and the end result was nothing less than fantastic.

The floors are better now than when I had the house built 19 years ago. Anthony did a tremendous job making sure everything was covered with plastic and taped to keep out any dust resulting from the work. The guys were incredibly tidy, clean and kept me informed during the work throughout their refinishing process. Joe Wallace, the business owner, is good to work with and goes out of his way to accommodate his client. His installers, Bryce and Anthony, did a fantastic job installing my high-end laminate. Anthony and Ryan did an amazing job refinishing our hardwood floors. I am so happy and excited! This is the 4th time in 5 years that we have had to have our oak floors worked on and refinished, but our 1st time using Classic floors. (We went through a remodel in 2017, a flood in 2019, and another flood in 2021. I was kind of over real hardwood and thought about replacing them with something else, but I just love the look, feel, and sound of hardwood.) Anthony and Ryan were always very prompt, tidy, and responsive to questions.

They were thorough in explaining things and made sure we were satisfied with the way things were going. Anthony went above and beyond by creating a trim piece for our entryway that was overlooked by the two previous companies (without me even asking to have it done, but always wanting to have it finished to look nicer.) We have used Classic Hardwood Floors twice now. When our kitchen floor was damaged due to a water leak we decided to complete the rest of our house with hardwood at the same time as the repair was being done. Because of the excellent job Classic Hardwood Floors originally did, and since Joe is still the owner, we didn't even consider anyone else. They did a perfect repair.

The old floor looks brand new and the new floor sections blend perfectly to the old existing floors. It looks like brand new hickory floors in the whole house. Anthony and Mike were the installers and they were professional, clean and organized. Anthony custom built our stairs and they turned out to be a piece of artwork. Beautiful! Our friends have used Classic twice, our daughter once and all I have heard is how happy everyone is.

We just scheduled Classic to install complete hardwood in my folks house. You can be confident that Classic Hardwood floors will give you an excellent floor at a fair price and that their employees will treat your home as if it was theirs.

I am writing this review to recognize Anthony and his crew for not only the work they did, but what I feel to be exceptional customer service they provided. We had our hardwood floors refinished. They were installed in 2007 or 2008 and had sun damage and some physical damage people, dogs, and kids as well as some from water around one of the doors.

To get to the point, as a homeowner, I really don't know anything about refinishing floors or what goes into it. But for us, we essentially had to move out of our house and trust that the people doing the work will treat you right. And we feel that Classic Hardwood Floors did just that. Anthony texted me when he arrived and when he left each day (which, that alone, was really appreciated).

He answered questions that we probably should have known, but didn't, such as when we can walk on it in socks. or shoes, when can we move furniture back, and how to clean the floors. He also gave us answers to questions we didn't know to ask, like when to put the rugs back. They also fixed some boards that were in bad shape and cleaned up some wood screws that surfaced after sanding.

One of the main things we noticed when we did move back home (7 days later) was how little dust there was. They sanded 1000+ sq feet and there was almost no dust. I also appreciated them brining in the package that was delivered for us. Much appreciated. We would hire them again. Thanks.

Very professional company with experienced and skilled employees who showed up as scheduled, were friendly, accommodating and patient in helping us decide between a vatiety of stain color options. They installed a new hardwood floor and refinished an adjacent hardwood floor that match perfectly. We are pleased with the finished floors and highly recommend them and their expertise. We had stair treads installed by Classic Hardwood this week to match our existing white oak flooring. Anthony and Mike did a fantastic job! Their communication was great, they were courteous and respectful, they did a good job with sealing off the work area and cleaned up after. The outcome was fantastic. beautiful new white oak treads that were custom shaped to fit our living area and had a more even elevation between each of the steps. 2 of the treads were particularly tricky and were extremely well done! They were efficient in their work and great to have here in our home for a few days. Highly recommended!

Classic Hardwood Floors was amazing! They were there when they said they would be, cleaned up each day, professional and could fully relate to what we were hoping to get out of our new floors. They lead us through the whole project and what to expect and how to take care of our floors after they were gone. The finished product was beautiful! Classic Hardwood was absolutely top notch on every level. Professionalism, quality, communication and cleanliness. Anthony did an awesome job on the stairs and went above and beyond with his meticulous attention to detail. Mike echoed that same level of service on the install and refinishing of our other areas. Joe Wallace has built an elite floor team and will refer them all day long.

Great experience with Classic Hardwood Floors from the first time Joe Wallace came to give us an estimate until the moment his crew left our home. Had the misfortune of a water leak that destroyed an existing engineered-wood floor that could no longer be matched. An entire floor replacement project was in our immediate future. Workmen (Bryce and Mike) showed up on promised date and completed work on promised completion date.

The work was impeccable! Demolition was done quickly and with minimal clutter. Trash was placed in their work trailer as it was removed allowing for a clean house and property prior to their installation work. Joe Wallace visited on all three days of construction to check on speed/quality of work and to make sure we were happy with the progress. Work went quickly, cleanly, professionally and beautifully! It's Friday afternoon, 5PM and our floors are completed.

The work done was, simply put, amazing. Cuts were perfect and seams were hard and tight. Anyone in need of hardwood/engineered wood flooring would be remiss if they did not use this company. One of the few craftspeople in the area!

We recently had our second hardwood job completed from Classic Hardwood. We will continue to use them exclusively as long as they are still operating. Joe and his crews are efficient, punctual, reasonably priced, personable and very knowledgeable. I won't let anyone else work on our floors.

Joe and his team did a beautiful job on our flooring project. We had carpet and tile taken out and replaced with oak flooring that needed to blend in with our existing floors. Then it all had to be sanded and refinished. They did a beautiful job and for a very competitive price. I plan to have them back soon to replace carpet and tile in two more rooms. Joe Wallace is a professional that takes pride in his work. He has done a few projects for me. Small repairs and a nice refinishing. He blended our old hardwood with the new laminate. It saved us a ton of money rather than doing the whole thing. I highly recommend him and have had many friends use him also.
