I can't say more nice things about this company! We reached out to our original installing AC unit company, whom cancelled on us twice in the same week and recommended we find someone else. After researching and reaching out to several companies, Grapids was the most professional, kind, and helpful! They were able to get me on the schedule for service the next day and were able to come earlier than originally scheduled which for us was PERFECT!
The office staff was so helpful and kind on the phone, and Kyle came out to service our unit. He was so professional and nice. Talked me through all of our options and diagnosed our AC problem quickly. We now have our furnace and AC unit running again. We have a plan on what needs to happen with our system in the future and plans to come out routinely to make sure we everything is working the way it should. Kyle was great and I will recommend Grapids to EVERYONE!

The team at Grapids is amazing! Justin came out to look over our system and diagnose the issues we were having. He was super friendly and very thorough going over all the information. We ended up needing to replace our system and they literally had their team out the next day. Brent and Harris came and replaced our furnace and A/C and again, they were very thorough.
They kept me informed of where they were at in the process and after installation, walked me through everything I needed to know about our new system. Very impressed with Grapids. They will continue to get my business.

Called Grapids after another company (which I will not name here) installed a new AC unit incorrectly and wouldn't honor their warranty and fix the issue. After weeks of trying to get in touch with the "other company" and failing, we finally decided to try Grapids. They answered the phones immediately and were able to come out and take a look at the system the next day.
They had great communication leading up to the appointment and were able to identify and fix the issue quickly and painlessly. When all was said and done the prices for the fix were incredibly fair as well. Definitely more likely to use Grapids in the future versus going back to the "other company". Definitely recommend.

Everything was great starting with the quote. The person that came out was very informative and talked me through the whole process. Then the installers were there the next day and finished my new AC and Furnace Installation. Everything looks super professionally done and doesn't look like some hackmaster came in here. Alex was absolutely awesome, very informative and tried everything to figure out the problem. Chris, the salesman, clearly explained our options and never felt pushy. And then the techs Brady and Jim finished the project incredibly quickly and left the space looking better than it was when they came. Asked for a quote for a replacement AC system. They responded quickly and after the dog & pony show presented a quote for $9,400. The quote person never gave the quote in writing but said it would be emailed. Received another quote from another company and it was for $4,300 for a higher rated system. Bottom line is to always get multiple quotes!

After getting a referral from our neighbors for Grapids, we decided to call them when we had an issue. Max from Grapids came to check out our furnace and assess the noise we heard coming from our furnace. He was incredibly polite and professional and helped me understand the issue and addressed any questions I had in detail. He took a look at our water heater as well and gave us advice to replace it due to it leaking.
He gave us quotes as well as different options and helped us through everything. I would highly recommend Grapids to anyone and we were pleased with the great care Max took with us today!

I dealt with 3 separate technicians and all were extremely helpful and friendly. They took time to answer any questions I had and were respectful of my home. Miles was just out to do some furnace repairs and did an excellent job and answered every question I had for him. He also discussed ways to more efficiently heat our home and try to limit the amount of propane we go through during the winter months. I would recommend this business and will continue to use them in the future.

DO NOT LET THEM SET UP A LOAN THROUGH SERVICE FINANCE FOR YOU. We purchased a new home a few months ago and had Grapids come out to look at our AC unit as it wasn't working. They came out and told us we needed a new unit and a new furnace. We had a salesman come out and do his speech. Started at the premium package at about $23,000. After saying there's no way he suggested the lowest package at about $13,000 but was talked down to $8,000.
We agreed. He had set up our loan with Service Finance and told us 12 months same as cash so as long as we paid on time and paid it off in a year, no interest. Everything was installed fine, the actual workers did a good job. Checked my statement for upcoming payment and noticed part of our monthly was going towards interest. Called SF, customer service was absolutely no help.
As soon as I inquired, all she said was well you signed the contract so you have to pay interest. I even explained we were told 12 months same as cash and she just said nope, you signed. My husband even called the salesman who set us up and said the exact same thing. Sorry, you signed for it, nothing we can do. We 100% understand this is our fault for not looking it over closer, but it'd be nice to know the company you're giving your business to is looking out for you.

Jim did a great job, coming out first thing in the morning the same day we called to fix our furnace the Monday after Christmas! He presented us with various options to improve our air quality based on our needs, and got us the best deal he could for our new filter system. He was gracious and kind, making sure he communicated everything clearly and teaching me how to replace filters, etc. Highly recommend Grapids!

Called asking them to sell me an Inducer motor and they said sorry we carry them but don't sell them Over the counter. Fine, I set up to have them do their diagnostics knowing they will determine the same course of action as I have (obviously the motor) and this is exactly what happened. I even told the guy "yeah I looked these motors up online, new, used, or aftermarket you're looking at 85-150$ but it's worth it to me to pay reasonable labor costs and you have them in stock so I'm not freezing the next few days (it's December so it's cold and shipping probably a nightmare).
He says yeah lemme get you a quote comes back saying 1430$. Then sent me to the sales team to see if "since 1430 is a lot maybe a little more will get you a new ac or furnace" turns out a little more is 10000-20000 for a new furnace installed. I am waiting for the parts to ship and the uninstall took 10 mins. Reinstall will prob be 20-30 mins. Even at an outrageous estimate of 100$/hr for the labor and being generous saying it'll take 2 hours and doubling it for overhead etc that should look something like 500-600 with equipment.
Bottom line, called to try to buy the equipment I needed, wasted hours of my life on a greedy joke that I tried to avoid in the first place by simply asking for an available in stock motor.

SHOP AROUND! This company is very overpriced and takes advantage of long time, loyal customers. We had a service plan with them for years. We replaced our furnace, water heater and air conditioner within a 3 year period. The ac was the last straw for us continuing our business with this company. They quoted us a ridiculous price for a new ac unit, when we said we would pass, they came down $2000.
We went ahead and bought the new ac, but a few weeks later found out that even though they deducted $2000, they were still $1000's over other reputable local companies. Shame on us for not shopping around! I would not suggest anyone give this company your business, they are very greedy and over priced!

They came for a system inspection and it was so refreshing to have such a nice company come into your home, be respectful, and not try to force you into anything. They left their comments and suggestions for our systems without being pushy about it. Our tech left a card with information for my wife and I to discuss and it was truly an enjoyable experience. Kyle arrived on time after texting his arrival time. He was friendly, knowledgeable and informative, and a great communicator. I asked about smoke alarms that are installed and where I might place the extra carbon monoxide detector. Other no pressure suggestions were made and he did a thorough check on our heating and air conditioning systems, thermostat, hot water tank, as well as change the filter in the furnace. I appreciated being able to ask questions and receiving the information he provided. Kyle would receive a 5 Star rating from me!

Last Friday the looked at furnace diagnosed it and concluded my furnace was in bad shape needed new furnace. In co es the sales force found me a furnace value 9000 dollars Late Friday canceled the instal Cause 9000 way to much for a furnace which today monday another furnace company diagnosed and said the brand they were going to sale me was of low quality. G rapids preached to me this is a high quality furnace with a solid background and knowledge of there business. Just a big con from there sales staff

I would not give this company "the time of day" let alone a dime of my money! I called to get an estimate on a small home furnace and ac unit. Just a rough number to help negotiate and budget for a house we do not have possession of. She was very rude and told me without coming out to inspect, she would say between $10,000 and $15,000. THIS IS FOR A SINGLE STORY HOME OF LESS THAN 900 SQUARE FEET!

I called because I needed someone to check my central air because it quit working last fall. Tanner the technician came out asked me how old it was, I told him about 15 years old. He looked it over ran some tests on the compressor and the start coil. He told me the compressor was shot and the start coil tested bad. he quoted me 2200$ to change the compressor and 213$ a pound for R22.
He also setup a meeting for a salemen to come out to the house to measure and size a new unit. I searched YouTube and watched a few videos on testing the compressor with a multimeter and my tests found that it passed. so looked up the cost for the replacement starter coil it was about 13$ from Grainger. I replaced the starter coil and It is working great! Beware of companies that want to sell you a complete system just because your ac system is aged. I would like my 97$ service charge refunded!

I wanted to give Grapids my business, but unfortunately they were unable to explain why the total cost for the quote they gave me was over $3500 more than another company (all things being equal in the quotes other than the brand of the products). I can only assume at this point that the difference was the profit they would pocket for themselves. The person who came to my home to provide the quote was friendly but stayed for nearly 2.5 hours (the appointment time was estimated 60-90 minutes).
She was inexperienced in the business (only started as an HVAC sales rep in July 2020), pushed add-ons and products I was up-front in saying I was not interested in, and when I requested a detailed quote be emailed to me she informed me the office would need to send it because the email functionality in the quote app on her iPad "wasn't working".
I called their office later that day and was told that she was supposed to send the quote to me, not them. Nothing was transparent in the quote I received; it simply listed each product with the cost indicated. There was no break-down for parts vs. labor. I am happy I went with another company. After the deceptive sales tactics I was subjected to, I would not recommend Grapids to any friends or family.

On 6-23-20, this business was contacted for a service call to check out an ac unit. After "thorough" inspection, they determined the problem and quoted upwards of 5 thousand dollars to "fix" problems with the ac. On 7-20-20, I had a small, reputable company evaluate and fix the problem for less than a tenth of what these money hungry misers quoted. Paraphrasing Warren Buffett: "Honesty is a very expensive gift. Don't expect it from cheap people." Apparently, GRapids Heating is cheap, greedy, and doesn't know their butthole from a hole in the ground! Keep away from these guys at all costs!

This is a wonderful company. Mike came out to do an estimate on a new furnace, and was very pleasant and straightforward. He was not pushy whatsoever on sales (because what a nightmare to have a pushy salesman in a stressful financial situation). I cannot recommend enough going through Grapids heating & cooling for any situation with furnace or a/c. The estimate from start to finish was a little over an hour. They were able to get someone out to install a new furnace by the next business day.

Grapids is extremely professional. They proved they are reliable, and were very courteous and conscientious as they installed a new furnace and AC unit, and also a new water heater, replacing units that were 20 years old. You can trust these guys. You may be able to find cheaper, but not for comparable units, and not for the level of service they offer.

Twice they've really disappointed us. At best it's poor service, but we felt scammed the second time. First we had 3 companies bid everything for changing HVAC, water heater, etc. from propane to natural gas. GRapids had terrible customer service (he admitted a week later forgot our bid completely, then was slow after he "remembered" afterI called.
Even then, it excluded the bid for the water heater and STILL was $3000+ more than the other 2 companies). Second, when our water heater died right before the natural gas switchover, they came & were shady, here for a super long time just to quote us, and then were 40% more than 2 other quotes we had. Plus, the 2 sales reps contradicted one another when they tried to explain why it was so horribly high priced.
One said our "plumbing wasn't up to code" & they needed to charge more to fix that. When we asked how much it would be if it were up to code they "couldn't answer" that. The second rep said it wasn't more because of that. We asked why none of the 3 companies (including them) who were to our home within the past 6 weeks to bid that job ever mentioned our plumbing wasn't up to code.no answer for that either.
And one rep asked, "Do you want me to look at your furnace while we are here? With its age, I can almost guarantee your heat exchanger is cracked." Uh, no. We are replacing it in a couple months when natural gas comes to our street.and you already bid us for that. and it's still working.and you were thousands higher than 2 other highly reputable companies for the same job.
After nearly 2 hours, we sent them away, paying $87 to confirm we'll not be using them for anything. The plumber who fixed our issue the next day (without a peep about pipes not being up to code, even when I asked if there were any issues or surprises at all) charged us $400 less than they wanted just for a water heater.

Called and got same day service which was important to us as we had thought we had smelled gas from the furnace exhaust. Turns out it was normal residual fumes but Erik the tech checked out the entire unit to make sure it was working to specs. I appreciate that he didn't engage in high pressure tactics to up sell services and repairs we didn't need.

First time customer and will not be returning. Brad had only been working here a month when he came in for my service tune up. Tried selling me everything under the sun including $45 furnace filters?! Do you think I'm stupid? I can get filters from the condo association I live in for $10! Quotes for options came in over $1,000+ from a guy that didn't know how to use his company ipad. Had something actually been not working properly I may have thought differently but a seasonal "tune up" shouldn't warrant the things he was trying to sell. Sent him on his merry way and suggest you go elsewhere too!

Our A/C went out just before a real hot spell. First we called another firm and their serviceman said our system was low on coolant and he was legally required to find and fix any leak before he could add any more coolant in. When we asked how much it was down or what a repair would cost, he couldn't (or wouldn't) tell us. He also said he would recommend we scrap our 13-yr old system for a new one at about $3,500 to $4,000 and he said they were 2-3 weeks out in scheduling a new installation.
We paid $134 for that 'service' and sent him on his way. Then, based on a recommendation from our son, we called Grapids and they came out the next day. They also said our coolant was low, but not more than would be expected from a system this old, just based on expansion/contraction of the seals around fittings. They replaced those fittings and said it would be pointless to try to find any leaks, because the amount we were down was within what would be expected.
They recharged the system and its running great and they said it should be good for another 4 or more years. That cost under $400. They did say if we wanted an entirely new system, they could install it within 48 hours. We really appreciated the straight-forward and honest approach. We would highly recommend them.

A++ Service. We had our furnace expected by Dwight and he was extremely nice, efficient and helpful. He explained everything in understandable terms and offered a few tips to get the most out of our furnace. He even double checked an issue I brought up and suggested a few things we could do to fix it.
