Mr. Plumber

I called this morning around 9 a.m. because my furnace quit working and I noted Mr. Plumber did HVAC work (much to my surprise, but they came up on my HVAC Yelp search, and I confirmed this on their website). This company had previously installed a water heater for my son and I was impressed by their pricing, communication, and review feedback, so felt comfortable engaging them again. Eduardo arrived at approximately 11:30 and had it running by 12:15.

He was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. I will definitely use Mr. Plumber for future plumbing and HVAC work. I've been very pleased with both their plumbing work and today, their HVAC work.

Came out mad arrived on time. Fixed the problem with the water valve only to find out it was the wrong valve, so I ended up paying for both to be replaced. Anthony left after completing the job but didn't check to see if there were any leaks. I noticed the next morning that the valve had a hole mad was leaking water everywhere. Water leaked down into my basement.

I called the company back over 7 times and left several messages/voicemails in addition. To calling Anthony's personal cell. No response. 2 hrs later I reached the answering service to make them aware of the water leak and requested a call back immediately. A guy called back within 15 minutes and said he could not reach the technician and said he would come out the next day.

We were without water for the remainder of the day because I had to turn off the main water line to avoid water damage. Anthony #2 came out the next day and said that the pipe should have been replaced along with the valves because they were old and rusted also. Anthony #2 fixed the problem bad we were able to turn our water back on without a leak.

My furnace had not been working. I called this company and the technician Edward came out and had my furnace working in less then 15 minutes. Edward showed me the problem and what needed to be replaced to keep it running well. He was so professional and courteous. Prices were very reasonable also. This will absolutely be my go to company from now on

This company was recommended by someone who had used them. They are excellent. Edward showed up early and had my furnace running in less then 10 minutes. Absolutely was impressed with his knowledge and how professional he was. this will be my go to company from now on. Prices are more than reasonable.

Tom came out to work on several things in our new house. Not only did he do a great job on all of them, he took the time to make sure I knew how everything worked and gave me some helpful advice on our particular setup. Didn't have to pay and arm and a leg for the work either. Will be using Mr. Plumber for my future plumbing needs. Services: Faucet repair, Plumbing pipe repair

We had mr plumber come out to fix our bathtub that would not put out hot water. They had to order a part that was going to take a couple of weeks to get in. Vance had amazing communication skills and was very professional and efficient. I Was very impressed with them and will use them again in the future! Service: Shower repair

They did a great job fixing our heating for our pool. We even had a pipe come off that wasn't related to the gas line or what he was working on and the technician fixed it without batting an eye. Additionally, my husband asked the technician to look into an additional repair outside of the original scope of the visit and the technician fixed it with a very reasonable price.

This is the first contractor that we have had that we felt that the service was 5 star and we didn't have to spend an arm and a leg! Would definitely recommend!. thank you Mr. Plumber!

Main line back up that required going down to the crawl space to get this cleared. Mr. Plumber was able to fit me in their schedule last minute. Tony spent over an hour explaining/showing me what needed to be done. Jeremy worked for almost 3 hours in the cold and did a great job. Everyone at Mr. Plumber was incredibly helpful and friendly. Everything was reasonably priced. I will be using them again for all my future plumbing issues.

Can't recommend them enough! Fast, honest, responsive. Our AC went out and after someone else telling me I needed a whole new unit, I called Mr plumber for a second opinion. 2 hours and less than $300 later my AC was back up and running and no issues since! Jessie was great to work with and will now always be my first call for all my HVAC needs.

We've used Mr. Plumber at home and work and are so pleased! Background: We had a bad experience with another company who did not finish clearing our line, resetting one toilet and fixing another pipe. They would come and work some, leave and we had to ask multiple times for a return visit. There was no respect for our female employees. Fed up, we called Mr. Plumber and got to work with Jeremy.

As expected from great service at home, Jeremy delivered a free estimate at work in our old building. He returned for the service appointment and finished in a few hours the same day, fixing everything effortlessly, and was a gentleman. We're so happy, and the price was reasonable and less than the first company! Thank you Mr. Plumber for great service, rates, and hiring respectable employees who care!

I am an out-of-state owner whose tenant had a problem with kitchen plumbing. Called Mr Plumber after reading positive reviews. Lady on the phone was very polite and informative, took my credit card number and scheduled appointment for the next day (situation was not urgent). As promised Marty (the plumber) called me after he reviewed the problem and gave me couple of options with pricing.

I chose one and he went to work. 30 min or so later he called again and reported a slightly bigger problem that he could not foresee before he has started the job. The add-on was only $20 more, I agreed and he completed the job. Very friendly guy. Overall, very satisfied and will use Mt Plumber again.

Thankful for the prompt response and excellent service. Hot day for our A/C to go out. Up and running within 3 hours of my call.

I picked Mr. Plumber based on these reviews and now I can add a 5-star of my own. He was on time and worked efficiently. I live in an old house and he told me all about the differences between newer homes and mine from the early 1920's. Finally, he was personable and the price was very fair. Kudos and thanks from me.

We were referred to Mr. Plumber by friends who were very pleased with them. I called for an appointment and was given my choice of days and times. Tony came today and fixed my clogged drain in no time and the cost was very reasonable!! He was extremely professional, informative, and gave me great tips. He explained everything he was doing and made sure I was happy with his work.

I really liked how much he talked about the company and their business practices. Mr Plumber has gained a repeat client. I already have plans to call about having my main lines checked and cleaned out.

Seeing so many 5-star reviews for a plumber, I started to wonder if they were fake. I got quotes from other plumbers on yelp for installing a kitchen faucet. Most wouldn't give me a quote. One said 50 bucks just to come out and look. Another said 100 bucks to come out and look. One said 200 to do the job. I called Mr Plumber and they gave me a quote instantly: $135. I scheduled it, they showed up exactly when they said they would and did the job perfectly in a short amount of time. Glad I found them!

Lesson learned.when you have leftovers in the fridge, put them in the trash! I just took the trash out and didn't want it to stink. So I put a ton of leftover shredded chicken down my disposal and 20 min later I had a big clogged, watery mess! I plunged it, with no luck and my boyfriend used a hand snake, with no success. It was just too far in.

I called Mr. Plumber and spoke with Laura. She was super friendly and understanding. She got me on their schedule that day (and this was a Friday, at 1pm). She said they would be here between 4-6. At 410, I got a call from the plumber, Vance, to let me know he was 35 minutes out and arrived exactly 35 minutes later. Vance was very professional and friendly.

He didn't mind me being nosy and watching, as he did his work. Thank you Mr. Plumber for fixing my mess and educating me! I won't put that much food in there again!

Just had a sump pump replaced by Vance from Mr Plumber. He was outstanding. Excellent customer service, friendly and very helpful and professional. The price was very fair and reasonable. I would highly recommend Mr Plumber and Vance. Also wanted to say that we had Jesse install hot water tanks at our house at an earlier date. He was the nicest guy. Did outstanding work, courteous, friendly, answered all our questions, spent time with us going over everything and WOW did he spend time cleaning everything up. Left it spotless. Without a doubt I would recommend Jesse!

When you run out of toilet paper don't use Kleenex the hard lesson we learned, but thankfully Tony from Mr. Plumber was here to save the day! We had called a different company the night before and after they kept pushing back our appointment and we finally got fed up. A quick Yelp search led us to Mr Plumber and within a couple hours Tony arrived. Tony was super nice and efficient and was in and out in about an hour. The total bill was $134.50 and it was money well spent. We will definitely be using Mr Plumber in the future!

I had a nice experience with Mr. Plumber. Scheduling an appointment was very easy (just a quick phone call), and the contractor who came to our house was friendly and efficient. Prices seem pretty comparable to other plumbers that I've used. The only reason I rated 4 rather than 5 stars is that I was given an arrival window of 11:00 - 2:00 and the contractor arrived at 2:30.

Not the end of the world, but it was a slight inconvenience. That being said, Mr. Plumber does call 30 minutes before they arrive, which allows you to be out and about and hustle home in time to greet them if you don't feel like waiting around the house. I'll absolutely use them again.

Mr. Plumber replaced a water heater, two sink faucets and the valves for water lines to our washing machine. They quoted these projects at a very competitive price, showed up on time, offered suggestions and did an excellent job. Straight forward, honest and professional makes them a great company. I highly recommend Mr. Plumber!

I just had Tony over for on a house call about our main drain and HAD to post a review. Even with the amazing reviews I was wary of the classic rip off scenario since my husband wasn't home and I know NOTHING about plumbing. I could not have felt more informed and comfortable. Sydney was amazing and helpful in arranging the appointment (scheduled within 24 hours) and Tony went above and beyond to make sure I knew everything and is so knowledgeable. Pricing is reasonable too. You can't go wrong with these guys!

Well i'm sure you can guess how this review is going to go. These are the only plumbing co to give me a reasonable quote on a very minor situation i had going on ( 2 other plumbing companies didn't even call back after i talked to them). they got here at the end of the day polite with great attitudes and did the job effortlessly and they checked a couple other things to make sure everything was working right. to be honest i will always go through mr plumber from now. So this part is so very easy! The owner of the this Co. was so very patient with me back in the the early 90’s Steve Chilcoat! Very knowledgeable, compassionate, understanding, and a drive that I can never describe! But what I can tell you is this Steve, unlike others shared his craft with me Kevin Sneed, and at this day I’m very successful because of Steve’s willinglyness to share what he had already experienced himself with me to be able to help customers, is going to be exactly why each and everyone of you ready this right now should choose Mr. Plumber!

We have used Mr. Plumber for several projects around the house and have always had a great experience. From start to finish they are friendly, efficient, and honest. Tyson is amazing and always has a smile and positive attitude.

My mom bought a new house last summer and is a recent widow. The builder and developer built a very nice looking Villa in the Prairie Villas at Falcon Valley in western Lenexa, but once you look at their work a little bit deeper it's obvious they cut so many corners. Including buying the cheapest toilets on the market and installing them incorrectly.

We hired a home inspector to come out nine months after moving in and there were so many code violations, including the toilets and plumbing, that we may have to file a lawsuit. That's where Mr. Plumber comes in. After the downstairs toilet kept clogging more-and-more frequently our neighborhood association's preferred plumber made my mom feel guilty for calling so frequently as if it was her fault these clogs were happening.

We spent almost 2 weeks trying to get him out here and in the end he stopped returning our calls. That was after he hung up on my mom telling her he can't keep coming out here. He's been out here twice. So who hangs up on a widow in need? Roy Morrison of Morrison Plumbing, that's who! I strongly suggest you NEVER use them! Conversely, I STRONGLY suggest you use Mr. Plumber! Specifically, Tony, who helped us out and couldn't have been nicer and more helpful.

He not only fixed the problem but showed me the tool I should buy and how to use it because it's a simple fix if you have that tool. He could've been proprietary and secretive so we'd have to continue calling but he told me they don't do a lot of advertising and mainly rely on word-of-mouth. So this is my mouth making a word and strongly suggesting these guys if you need plumbing help.

I picked them because they had high reviews on yelp and I can certainly see why. So I hope the owner, Mr. Plumber (if that even is his real last name), knows what a great employee he has in Tony. Sometimes you write a yelp review because you want to support a business who has collectively been great and sometimes just because one of their employees has gone above and beyond.

While this is both, I'm actually sitting here writing this because of Tony. He told me he's been with them since 1998 which speaks extremely well for this business and I'm sure all of their employees are on par with Tony. It's reassuring knowing there are still people who take pride in their work and don't hang up on widows! *I was kidding about Mr. Plumber being the owner's real last name, but you have no idea how much I wish it was.

This is a top notch business. Over the last few weeks my 63 year old home developed a laundry list of plumbing problems. Mr Plumber was able to work me in for a sewer line repair and a drainage problem on a 2 line. They spent the extra time to understand my issues and fix them without breaking the bank. I highly recommend Mr Plumber and in particular Tom Wahl and Chad Hahn as the plumbers to ask for. Very pleased with their work. This work was done in Fairway KS

Tyson came to my home today to repair a 60 year old kitchen drain pipe that was leaking between kitchen and basement. Very professional - walked me through the repair before and after. Left the drain setup better than before, and insisted on cleaning the work area when finished. Very satisfied, would use again and highly recommend.

I have had rental properties for years, and I have never had better support than with Mr Plumber. I don't even shop around, because I know they will take care of my needs, and at a fair price.

Outstanding job by these guys and highly recommended. My wife wanted to make sure I recognized Jeremy Bridgewater, the plumber who did the work at our house. He fixed our kitchen sink and overall water pressure issues and was very professional about it. To quote my wife: "He was clean and didn't grunt at me." Jeremy was late for the scheduled appointment but had called ahead to warn us so it wasn't a big deal. Price was also very reasonable. Just an overall good experience.

These guys were great! Friendly, quick and efficient. VERY reasonably priced. I'm glad I gave them a call! The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was because they were about an hour late to the appointment. I'm able to work from home and had an open schedule that day, so I could maneuver it, thankfully.

Sometimes you need a plumber. Sometimes, you need a plumber 3 separate times for 3 different issues within a year, one of which was urgent and on a Saturday. Well, all I can say is that I'm extremely glad that we found Mr. Plumber (via Yelp, actually), and even though I can't be happy I've needed a plumber 3 times this year, I am very happy with the service Mr. Plumber has provided each time.

All of the service people who have helped us out this year were professional and friendly, quick to respond to calls, and arrived within the stated time frame given when we called. Our plumbing (and air conditioning) issues were handled quickly, professionally, and competently. Pricing was MORE than reasonable, even when we had to have someone come out on a Saturday for an emergency kitchen sink issue.

Every issue/repair needed was explained to us in a clear fashion, and if there were choices between repair vs. replacement, we were walked through our options and any potential future problems that may arise. I particularly appreciated that when it came to the option of fixing our A/C unit vs. all out replacing it, as the cost difference between the two was significant and I wanted to make an educated decision on what the best choice was.

And while they were working on our A/C unit, the service guys actually found another issue (an electrical one) that needed to be fixed, which they showed me and explained in detail why it was a problem, which was going above and beyond their job. Not only is the work top notch for a great price, but the service people have always been great about tidying things up after they are done with their work, as well as providing floor protection while they're working, which is I really appreciate. It's nice that there's no mess to clean up after the repair is done.

I certainly don't enjoy it when something goes wrong with our plumbing, but at least I can rest easy knowing who to call when an issue arises, and be safe in the knowledge that I won't be gouged for plumbing services. I can't recommend Mr. Plumber enough - this company is 5 stars all the way.

Called for a plumber to install a shower head and control handle, and a new valve to the icemaker line. I was given a price quote over the phone when I called. Josh came out on the scheduled date. He was a bit late due to a large job he was working on prior to mine, which is understandable. The job was completed in 3 hours. Josh gave good instructions and information about what he had done. He did a great job cleaning up the mess after. The price was within the estimate, and very reasonable. I will call them again in the future.

Nothing but great things to say about Mr. Plumber, and especially Jeremy who was the plumber who came out and did a great job. After a horrible experience with Bob Hamilton, I decided to do my research and Yelp guided me in the right direction. Quick service, very fair pricing, and a plumber who was happy to explain what he was doing and answer any questions that I had.

He finished pretty late so he could have easily told me it had to wait until tomorrow or charged me some "off hour" fee, but he didn't and I never got the feeling like he was trying to rush through it. I have a house that's apparently cursed with bad plumbing so finding a good plumber was a big deal. Easy 5-star rating.

I actually called another plumber, but he was so busy he gave me the number to Mr. Plumber. He said they're honest, fair, and reasonably priced. He was right. I had a clogged bathroom sink. I tried everything I could including snaking it. No luck. I wasn't in a hurry so I scheduled for the next day, but they could have made it the same day they said.

They gave me a quote over the phone (under $100) and kept it. Two guys show up in a truck and get to work. It only took about 15 minutes for under a hundred bucks, which is more than fair considering a friend of mine just got taken to the cleaners by a big name plumber in the area. Anyway it gets better. I also had a slow flushing toilet, a leaky shower, and a low pressure kitchen sink.

The guy said "I can snake the toilet for $XX, but honestly on a toilet that old, it may not work. You'd be better off applying that to a new toilet, usually under $100." Then he explained why and it made sense. Next, he took a look at my leaky shower handle and explained what the problem was, and how I could fix it myself, or how much it would be if I did. Next, one of the guys looks at my kitchen faucet and explained there's likely a calcium buildup in the filter. Bingo.

He runs out to the van, has an extra filter. Now my faucet is like a jet. My only regret was that I didn't tip them (didn't have cash). Yeah, they could have not offered honest advice and tried to charge me extra, but I wouldn't have done it, and I would have shopped elsewhere next time (this is the 4th plumber I've tried in 4 years). But the honesty and fair pricing, is why I'll be back again.
