I rarely write reviews on companies with whom I do business; however, I felt it was imperative to let everyone know how wonderful this company was to deal with. Besides that, Luis Garcia and Eduardo Rivas were unbelievable installers. They worked until the job was finished and did such a wonderful job. The two of them worked in tandem and were not only superb in their work, but gentlemen. Thank you to this company for employing such wonderful installers.

Friends & Family Flooring refinished the wood floors that run throughout our company showroom. The team was very professional and friendly. Very frustrated with my experience and treatment, which is sad because they have done wonderful work for my family and a couple of friends. I contacted them to do my bathroom floors. After the measurement, I did have to remind them to get me the quote, so I figured they are very busy and overworked. Once I got the quote I was pretty happy with the pricing.

I however decided against the color I chose and asked if they had anything else in light grey. I was told he would get back to me once he talked to the manufacturer. A couple of days go by and radio silence. I was just followed up and was sent the same link to the same products I was originally sent. No attempt to help me find what I wanted or needed at all.

I reiterated I was looking for light grey and that I did not see that in the link provided. I then attached a photo to THEIR Instagram of floors I liked and stated I wanted the floors pictured. I'm told they don't do ceramic flooring and they don't have what I'm looking for. I reminded him again it's from THEIR Instagram and these are vinyl floors not ceramic (per their caption).

I also asked if they don't install these floors why is it on their Instagram as available. Silence. So very very frustrating to have my time wasted. I would have appreciated any attempt to help me find what I need, get back to me on time, or care about the project. Sadly I did not find that here and I'm back at square one. This is on top of them not removing toilets or vanities when they work on bathrooms. You must hire someone else to remove and install the toilet which I've found is not common with other companies.

Friends and Family Flooring did an outstanding job with the installation of new wood floors and stairs in our townhouse. Dave provided a good initial overview of the process and answered our questions promptly. We corresponded with Jesse via email for scheduling and delivery of materials. The work crew (Omar, Herbert, and Roberto) were prompt and professional. They kept us informed of progress and cleaned up the work areas each day. We highly recommend Friends and Family Flooring.

I am the owner of a design and project management company and have used Friends and Family, specifically Dave Houston, for a couple of big jobs now, and they are amazing. I am very particular about the finish on hardwood floors, and these guys knock it out of the park every time. They are on time, all of their employees are professional, and just all-around a good group of people. They are also very reasonably priced. Excellent quality and a good price are hard to find in today's market. Dave and Friends and Family, make sure you get both.

I used Friends and Family Flooring to refinish the parquet floors in a condo I had recently purchased. The experience was wonderful from beginning to end. Friends and Family Flooring did a wonderful job pulling up the carpet and refinishing our wood floors. They were very professional through the entire process. They were even flexible enough to do the work during our scheduled vacation. When we came back from vacation, we found beautiful floors. They did a wonderful job, and I highly recommend.

This company is very professional! I highly recommend them! One of my bedroom floors had some water damage. The company found the parquet floor tiles to replace the damaged ones. Stuart came out to do the estimate, explained everything to me and got me a quote promptly. The installers were on time, explained everything and did an amazing job. We had hardwood floors installed on our entire second floor, and also in the Family Room on the first floor. Friends & Family Flooring did a great job! The quality of the work was excellent, and they were very careful and conscientious about everything they did! We highly recommend them!

EVERYTHING! I guess it's summed up in customer service. They made extra trips to see me in person. They used my preferred method of communication. If I made a request they couldn't accommodate, they didn't beat around the bush or try and spin it. Oh yeah. Tile installed today so I might be giddy. But it's all still true!

I am so grateful i got a chance to work with Dave, Eric, Will and Richard. First, like most homeowners, i spent a bit of time looking for a flooring company to repair flooring and subfloor, sand, varnish my floors and redo shoe molding. I found Friends and Family flooring's prices are competitive but reasonable and clear. Dave listed the prices for each item of work that will be done and he is very very good at setting proper expectations.

I was always given clear answers to my questions and when Dave didn't know, he sent his foreman, Eric, to explain. Second, their communication skills have made this process extremely easy. I understood the entire process from scheduling to how the floors will be redone from beginning to end before they even started the job. They also gave me time to choose stain colors and see the samples of the stain on my floors.

They did a great job refinishing and matching our upstairs flooring to the main floor (which the person we bought the house from did 1-2 years ago). We're very happy with the result! The staff were friendly and professional as well.

They protected and sanded around a painted area, did nice job on our original pine floor steps, and they even replaced a high doorway jam between our dining and sunroom to prevent tripping. We were impressed from start to finish with Friends and Family Flooring! Mimi was friendly and promptly put me in contact with our salesman, Stuart. We wanted to sand and refinish our wood floors and put in wood stairs that had all been hidden under carpet for years but were unsure what problems we would find.

I had my floors redone in early 2014, at 8 months pregnant with my daughter. Friends and Family flooring were amazing at working with me to get my floors done as soon as possible. They refinished the wood floors and added pieces around all the door frames as we had just had metal frames removed that left large gaps in the floor.
