Benchmark is fantastic! They are reliable, on time and do what they say they are going to do, not to mention the quality is A+. I am a realtor, 98% of my clients have used Benchmark's services and raves about them. My husband and I have also hired Benchmark to complete several repairs for our house as well and we recommend them 100% of the time. Last thing I'll say is the owner Lorne is a stand up guy! Benchmark came highly recommended to me and did not disappoint. I contacted them to check out a roof leak I had. Matt was able to use his expertise to determine that the leak was part of extensive storm damage that had taken a while to manifest into the leak i observed. Matt worked with my insurance adjustor to determine i was entitled to a roof replacement.

They used the best materials and explained the process to me from start to finish, which was completed in a surprisingly short time. Less than two days for the roof and one day for the gutters with covers. After the clean-up, it was as if they had never been there, except for a beautiful new roof.

Benchmark did an exceptional job on a roof repair I needed on our home and an outstanding reconstruction of our chimney chase with the coded parts of the spark reflector and metal pan covering. We have utilized Lorne/Benchmark as general contractor for a number of jobs: house repairs including roof and deck after hurricane, yard hardscape installation, house paint, driveway replacement on very steep slope and deck staining. All work done is excellent, competitively priced and delivered on time. After the hurricane we went out of town on an extended vacation planned prior, Lorne worked closely with the insurance personnel assuring all damages were identified and the coordinated all repairs. Highly recommend Benchmark for all your home improvement needs.

We had rotten wood around the outside of our house. Around both dormers and windows, around our garage doors, several windows and in random soffits. Jose and the crew took their time and made sure to find each area and address it. Some of the areas required 30 foot extension ladders! Our house looks brand new now. They cleaned up afterwards and didn't leave a trace! We will definitely use Benchmark Roofing again for projects. They do more than just roofs!

Benchmark Roofing is in all aspects a fabulous roofing company. I know, because I had a terrible experience with my previous roof replacement. Matt Maendler who was our contact person, supervising the roof installation is always responsive to any questions or concerns. Communication is key. I was always told the schedule, including any rain delays.

Roof was completed within 2 1/2 days. They do not require payment until job is completed and you are satisfied, which is no problem, because I was completely satisfied! I had a small leak in the garage ceiling because we had a quick rain not in the forecast. Matt had the ceiling repainted within 1 1/2 weeks, this was after payment was made! Benchmark is totally awesome. Hopefully this company will always maintain its high standards!

The fine folks at Benchmark Roofing made this process so easy it was almost scary. Matt and his crew we on time, extremely professional, very considerate of our time and property, and did outstanding work. Matt was onsite virtually the entire time, kept us update on progress, and when they left, our home looked even better than we imagined. Matt helped with color and style selection, his experience was a tremendous amount of help with things we never thought of. These folks are the best, hands down.

I dreaded replacing my roof for years because of the horror stories we hear about roofing companies. This is not one of those. Lorne at Benchmark roofers could not have been more professional, kinder, more attentive to my needs. I am delighted with the work they did and the constant attention it Lauren paid to this project while it was on going. I wish I could give them ten stars.

I cannot say enough good things about the professionalism and attention to detail that Benchmark exhibited while replacing my roof. Their rep, Lorne, stopped by and made sure everything was done as promised almost daily. He explained in detail what would happen, how to deal with insurance, what to expect on installation day. The crew was courteous and professional.

The fellow who did the inside painting did an amazing job. All of this went on while my husband was at home recovering from a broken hip and yet we were not inconvenienced at all. So VERY happy with my experience with Benchmark.

I needed a new roof. The guy who came out and gave the quote (Matt) sounded so great. I was sure I had the right company after talking with several other companies. He assured me he would be at my job on the day the roof was installed. I even called him on that day, and he said he would be there in the late afternoon. He never showed up or called.

In fact, he never called me again. When I contacted him by text a week after the roof was done, he didn't respond. I heard from one of his workers that he broke his phone (for an entire week as a contractor?). The other excuse was that he had a sick family member. I know he was working in Tennessee on the tornado homes which seemed to take precedence over my job.

I was told by Abe, that he or Matt would be at my house the day after the roof was put in to bring his metal detector and check for nails. That never happened. In fact, again, no one contacted me until I texted a week later. I found nails all over my driveway and yard. The workers weren't careful at all about where they threw the old shingles.

They damaged almost all of the flowers I had just planted in the front and a couple of shrubs in the back yard. They didn't put the dish back up right, so I was without TV for a week until Dish could come. they damaged siding which was not repaired. The roof eyebrow above my garage was done very poorly, even Abe who came out to look at it after a week or so agreed. I have plenty of pics but I don't know how to attach them here. As a construction professional with 16 years experience in general contracting, I have extremely high standards for subcontractor performance. Benchmark was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Their professionalism was evident from the owner (Lorne), right on down to the guys doing the installation (awesome crew, btw!). They said what they would do, then did it, a rare experience these days. They were pleasant to work with, did a quality job, and charged a fair price. What more can you ask for?

From there, he came by that same day and explained everything thoroughly, and got our roof fixed in the same week. I cannot say enough great things about Abe and his team! Will be using them again for other services as well!

Benchmark is wonderful about quick response and follow up, not only doing a great job diagnosing a problem, but a superb job fixing it. Everyone associated with the company is delightfully polite and professional, and most important, knows their stuff. Run, literally. Be 100% sure you get several other quotes before hiring these guys. We had a few minor repairs to do before selling our home. This company quoted $850 to do 1/2 an hours worth of caulking. One tube of caulk. Another company completed the work for $125. A very minor roof repair quote was $550. 20 minutes and one nail was all the job took. Some contractors will do very high "opportunistic" quotes for small jobs they really don't want. This is one of those companies. It's gouging. Shop carefully.
