My project is still not complete. The damaged screen door has not been delivered and the correction on the doggy door panel has not been made. My experience since the installation has begun has been terrible. day one of installation- 75 percent of panels were ordered. Had to reschedule installation after panels were ordered and received. next installation date- screen door is bent, screen is damaged, framing is damaged, doggy door not cut to asked height next installation date- installers come to repair discrepancies and complain to my wife. they bend metal rather than replace damaged parts, they cut the doggy door wrong again. I am still waiting for the screen door the panel replacement for the doggy door. I am also waiting to hear how or if the damaged framing will be repaired.

A salesman named Zachary came over to show me a couple of samples and to take measurements for my patio enclosure. I told him I wasn't looking at spending thousands because we weren't going to be in the home long term. I received an estimate of a little over $15,000. I told them to go ahead and get HOA approval. The HOA informed me they were denying the project due to the materials the company was going to use.

My customer service advocate said she would take out the verbiage stating the materials and told me to resend the email. So, they were basically still willing to install using materials the HOA denied- they just weren't going to tell the HOA what was being used. Sneaky. Around that time, my salesman and the regional supervisor, Eric, scheduled a time to come by.

During this meeting they said they spoke with HOA and would have to give me a different room. This added $11,000 to a project I initially said I didn't want to invest too much in. Later on, I spoke with my customer service advocate who said they didn't talk to the HOA and she could give me no reasonable explanation as to why the two guys would say they had been in contact with the HOA.

I didn't appreciate all this sneakiness so I told her I was no longer interested in working with their company and to cancel the project. I reached out at least twice to make sure they knew I was not working with them and to refund my deposit, but did not get a response. I never heard from anyone until over a month later when I used another avenue to have my deposit returned. Suddenly, I was inundated with calls and emails that said my materials had been ordered and they wanted to set an installation date.

They basically harassed me for weeks. I was able to get my enclosed patio done by a local business and it was exactly what I wanted and didn't cost anything close to what Patio Enclosures quoted me. I do not recommend Patio Enclosures/Great Day Improvements.

I have had trouble with this company since my install in October 2020. They got my design wrong first of all and I have had trouble with my screens ever since. Forget about getting someone to answer your phone call, I have been trying to get someone to call me back since October 2021about work that was done on my screens right before summer, it is now February 2022. Terrible company!

I spent thousands of $$ with this company and it's been a terrible experience. They are non responsive, very poor communication, terrible installation. We are stuck with a broken screen door (happened right after installation)which they said they will come fix. The technician came and adjusted the screen door which came off in a couple days. We have been calling and following up for months now.

The agent on the phone says she will call right back, but we don't hear back in weeks. We then follow up and she says the same thing. We wont be able use our patio in fall or summer without the screen door. Their sales agent shows a different product but they install a different poor quality product.

They made this whole process very easy & communicated well throughout the entire process. The installers were respectful and very detail-oriented. They took their time to really do it right and I love my new patio enclosure. Couldn't be happier.
