Big Fish Roofing

I had an excellent experience with Big Fish. Pricing was competitive, communication was excellent throughout, foreman and crew were upbeat and focused on their work, I watched all day, seemed like a seasoned and disciplined group. The owners were engaged in the process throughout. 1800 sq foot home and tool shed completed in one day. Everything went according to plan. Good clean up at the end. Definitely would suggest getting a bid from them if you're looking into it.

Called for an Estimate quick response. Mike explained my options. Steve and Stacey was great as well Burger Roofing came out did not give me options just a price. Which was 30 cheaper than Big Fish but Professionialism means more than money to me. Highly recommend Big Fish.

I had a leak. Two companies came to the house to provide quotes. Mike with Big Fish Roofing was one of the companies. Mike inspected the roof area and suggested that I simply caulking an area that he believed was causing the issue. A few months have gone by and we've had numerous storms. I'm happy to say the tube of caulk used in the suggested area fixed the issue.

The second company provided an estimate of over $4,000. I wasn't a paying customer this time, but when I do need work done I will certainly call Big Fish Roofing again. Thank you for your suggestion and honesty. I had a second leak (April 2020) on another part of the roof. I called Big Fish and Mike again came out. After inspecting the area he made some suggestions on areas that might need some caulking.

He advised that if the caulk didn't work he would return and complete an estimate. I'm happy to say that after 5 months and many storms the area doesn't leak. Mike thank you for your honesty and professionalism. When the time comes for a new roof Big Fish will be my first call.

Critical: Professionalism I have been waiting over a week for a quote they claim 48 hours these guys say that they are about good service I don't think that they what what good service is

My husband called them 3 times and they said they sent a quote on several of our rentals. He called a 4th time and the lady said she was sure it was emailed but would check. My husband gave her the email address again just in case and she said that she would text him when she sent it. No email and no text. From your response below. you are not telling the truth.

Not one person offered any information on our rentals (3 properties by the way) and you are making out like it's our fault. My response is I am glad we did not continue to try and call your company because you are not honest. Taking responsibility for your lack of service is the first thing a company should do.

Mike came out to look at my roof to add additional ventilation on 06/09/20 and said he would get back to me in a few days with a quote. I hadn't heard back, so I texted him on 06/19/20 and asked if he had the quote ready.no response. I called the office and they said he was working on quotes and that they would have him call me back. Today is 07/03/20 and I've heard nothing.

Awful customer service! If this is how you conduct business, I'm so glad that Big Fish Roofing WILL NOT be doing the repairs to my roof. Good luck in the future if this is how you intend on running your business.

We Chose big fish roofing company because it was highly recommended to us, Worst mistake we could have ever made! Manager Mike came out to give us our estimate of $8,900 notifying us that the price could exceed up to $800 more, if taking care of all rotten wood. Roof took 3 days to do, & No prep work was done. Like laying tarp down for old roof nails, got three nails stuck in my tire, one in my foot, & also one in my dogs paw.

There was no communication, gate was left open for my dogs to be let loose. Failed the city inspection three times, for numerous reasons. When we contact them in regards to felling the inspection they were very rude and disrespectful. Improper nailing caused leaks that they came out and fixed supposedly with tar and roof concrete. When it was all said and done, we got an invoice for $11,000 dollars. $2,100 over the quote that we received and hardly any of the rotten wood was taken care of, in fact they installed the new roof on top of rotten wood.

Try to speak with them about the leaks, rotten wood & the price increase on the invoice & we were cussed out in our driveway. Told if we did not pay the full asking price of $11,000 they would put a lien on our home. please please be very careful if you choose to use big fish roofing company. I would highly recommend that you DO NOT! Your response just proves how rude and nasty of a company you guys are! I just pray that nobody else falls victim for your lies and false accusations.

We just bought our house in 2018, shortly after we discovered a roof leak. After calling 2 other companies and not liking the quotes, we decided to just do a patch job ourselves. It lasted a few months, but needed a pro. We called Big Fish for a 3rd opinion and we're so glad we did! Steve came out & found the problem ( more than what the others said) and quoted 1/2 of what the others did. Mike came out and ended up doing more than what was originally thought was needed but they kept with the original quote. And the work came with a 1 year warranty! Great people, great service! We purchased a home in Mandarin in Jacksonville, FL on which Big Fish had just installed a NEW ROOF with a warrantee in 2019. It took us multiple tries to get anyone to call us back regarding the leaks we were experiencing after we moved in. My husband had no success whatsoever getting anyone to return his messages. I finally got them to call me back and come take a look at it.

They said it was fixable and although it may not be under warrantee, they would be able to come repair it the first part of this year (2020). Multiple calls and texts (directly to Steve) and emails to his partner / manager of this company, and no one would even give us the time of day. Nothing. Not a single answer to any of it. Terrible service. Zero reliability.

We would have paid them to fix it -- we just weren't a big enough job for them to bother with. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone! We ended up getting Matt Reese of Reese Roofing who did the job in a timely manner for a ridiculously fair price, and guess what? No more leaks, and he has a satisfied customer for life! Probably would give them even LESS than 2 stars if we had been the ones who paid for the roof in the first place. I just cannot deal with businesses who don't give a darn about the little guy, or stand behind their work and word.

I recently had my roof done by Big Fish Roofing and I am so glad that decided to go with them. I had 3 other quotes that were extremely outrageously high. The other companies promises to do all the leg work with the insurance for you. That is great if you aren't trying to pocket it for yourself and still have me pay out of pocket additional cost. With Big Fish Roofing they provide you with a quote that is significantly lower than the competitors but the quality is far greater than the competitors.

I decided to go with the Platinum Option Owen's Corning Trudef Duration with Surenail Technology lifetime 130 mph Architectural Shingles. When I tell you that my roof stands out from the rest of the community in that the quality and look is not like the rest. Steve and Rex was great with answering all my questions and making this process go off without a hitch. Thank you gentlemen for my new roof. Now I need my gutters done. Look no further for re-roofing Big Fish Roofing is the company you definitely should select.

If you need a new roof put on your house, you need to call Big Fish Roofing and ask for Steve. He was great. He came out on a Saturday. Signed the contract on Tuesday and had a new roof that Friday. Now we did get lucky because they had a cancellation but we still would have had a new roof within a two weeks time frame. The original company we were dealing with was $5K higher and had all of these hidden charges if you went with them but they are also "Storm"chasers. I highly recommend Big Fish Roofing! I love Big Fish Roofing and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a new roof. They replaced my whole roof. Before I found them I had quotes from three other roofing companies. They were priced better than the others and right in our range. The quote process was easy and painless and quick. Mike Snyder took great care of us and lived up to every thing he said he would do.

The crew came as expected and completed their work in a day and a couple hours of the second day. Clean up was great and the onsite supervisor, Austin Sanders, made sure we were informed through the entire process. We used Big Fish to fix a roof leak a couple years ago. The team that fixed the roof fixed the leak but used shingles that weren't even close to matching the existing shingles. We were told that was the closest that they could get to the existing shingle. Fast forward, we got really tired with how bad the repair looked and We were ready to have the shingles changed and to pay for it again.

On a whim, we called Big Fish to see if they would fix the problem. The gentleman who came outsold us he was the new owner and he knew who did the original repair. He wasn't surprised the job wasn't satisfactory. They came back out, changed out the shingles with a color that is a pretty good match and we never saw a bill. He didn't have to do that. The work was great and we are now very happy.

Big Fish Roofing was able to pick up where another roofing company left off. After another company left me hanging for several weeks, Big Fish not only was able to give me a better product at a very reasonable price, but they were able to complete the project just days after the initial quote.

I'm one of the Trustees for Glynlea Grace United Methodist Church. We had contracted Big Fish Roofing to complete repairs to our roof to start on December 22, 2015. The not only completed the repairs without interrupting the school we have at the church; they completed the repairs in less than three weeks (total repair time) considering the rain and other weather conditions.

If there was ten stars these guys would have it. Couldn't ask for anything else. Looks great, great job cleaning up after all work was done. Couldn't believe how fast they got the roof done. Wouldn't even consider calling anyone else.

Steve came out, looked at the roof and recommended some repairs that I could do myself. While I can't comment on the quality of their work, having someone tell you you do not need a new roof is priceless.

They did a great job on our rental property and the new roof looks wonderful. They will be replacing the roof on our personal property in the spring. Can't wait!
