Had a appointment from 8am till 12 scheduled for them to come out and give a quote. They never showed or called. I called the girl at the front office to tell them they never showed and she said they were running behind. I understand things happen but no phone call or a sorry. I was going to rescheduled but the way the front office girl acted was just rude. I will not be using them IF YOU CANT SHOW UP FOR A QUOTE WHY WOULD I HIRE YOU?

Hansen installed two HVAC units for us and serviced them over the past six years. We had a semi-annual contract with them and had them repair duct insulation. They are always quick to call to update me on arrival times, and someone is always available when there is any problem. They stand behind their equipment and their pricing is fair. We have since moved from that home and I have called them to install programmable thermostats in our new home. Scheduling an appointment was easy and Emily was very accommodating.
The technician made sure I understood how to operate the new units before leaving and his installation was tidy and clean. Always polite and efficient staff. We have chosen Hansen to service the units In our new home too.

We had a drain back up 6ish yesterday. Called a few plumbers. Affordable Pumbers told me that because I had never used their services before I did not "qualify " for after hours service beacause I am not a VIP. This is a really bad marketing tool to attract new customers. Their site says open 24/7 but that is only if you are a VIP. What a rip off.
So I called HANSEN around 7:00. They were at my house approx 1 hour later and done with the job within 30 miuntes. They did exactly what was expected. I paid exactly what I was quoted over the phone. They were friendly, social distancing and very efficient. So now HANSEN are on my VIP list. EXCELLENT MARKETING TOOL TO ATTRACT NEW CUSTOMERS. THANK YOU HANSEN!

My air conditioner stopped working, I called Hansen after lunch Wednesday 10/2/19 and asked if someone could come to my home, same day. they complied. The friendly man that came was great, knowledgeable, and within 5 minutes knew exactly what the problem was. He was a perfect gentleman, and well spoken. So I will say I would recommend Hansen for your air conditioning service in the future.
There house call is great, and not trying to make are take your money I do know others that charge $300.00 and up. I have used there companies. but I am not talking bad about them, because they are also good. I just am not going to pay that price for a house call, unless I have to again.

I called Hansen to help me with my unit that got struck by lightening. The salesman came and took measurements of closet where inside unit was. Also I told him I wanted to replace with same quality as before. The installation people came and they tore out my wall and door to the ac. Closet. And out a larger tone unit in. Now I can not claim it on my insurance.
Also I did not want a larger unit. It's just a way for them to make money or they took advantage of a disabled 58 year old woman. I reported them to the state board and they are being written up. This is just one photo of many that I have. Run from this company. The owner has not once called me and said I an sorry Chad Hansen owns it.

From the start, my experience with Hansen Heating & Air was great. The first time I called, I think I spoke with Ms. Heidi. I asked for a quote and received just that, with a friendly attitude. No sales pitches or unwanted suggestions.just what I asked for. The next day, I spoke with Ms. Annie and that call was just as pleasant as my first call. Ms. Annie was very helpful and spoke to me as a person, instead of as a potential client. Based on the quote I was given and my experience with Hansen to date, I set an appointment for the next day between 12 & 2. Hansen's policy is to call and make sure the customer is home by calling to verify. But, when I set the appointment, I neglected to give Ms. Annie my cell phone number for them to verify that I would be home during the appointment time.
That was my mistake. Ms. Annie called my work (the number they had on file for me) and was finally able to contact me. Mr. Marvin made contact with me and arrived a short time later. I explained what we were experiencing with our system. He went to work and explained what was happening. He was just as pleasant to talk to as Ms. Heidi and Ms. Annie. Ended up costing me a lot less than I thought it would have. They all definitely deserved this praise and rating.

Expensive. The $25 dollar service charge is just to get them in the door and do nothing. It's at least $150 for anything. The lady on the phone wasn't that friendly, and they're too scared to tell you anything, because they want to be able to charge the daylights out of you. The technician wasn't friendly, but he wasn't really rude just noncommittal and unhelpful. They did the job. The repairs have held, but I just have to think there's better out there, at the least friendlier.

Hansen's came out and replaced the compressor in a unit. Air still didn't work. They came back out and replaced the compressor again. It blows cool but not a lot of cool. The second young man who came out on a Saturday needed a lesson in manners. He had terrible customer service skills. So now we are calling them to come back for the third time. Let's hope they get it right this time.

Well the tech had a bad attitude when he arrived. Said he couldn't get me on my cell and come to find out it was his service on his cell having problems. Then he asked "Do you just want me to put freon in it?" I said I don't know, you tell me what's wrong with it. I just know it's not blowing cool like it should. So he put a pound of freon in.
He said it should cook now. I asked is there a leak and could he find it. He dropped his head and said that will be extra. I understand I'll have to pay but it's a fairly new system, only a couple years old. He said that's what you get with a Goodman, it's junk. He said we would have to schedule a leak inspection appointment. I couldn't schedule one at the time account I work out of town and my schedule is crazy.
So they guy they sent had no intention on trying to fix my ac problem, just put a bandaid on it. Well when it came time to pay I said you do take a card right? He said he really preferred a check with an almost disgusted look on his face but he would take a card. Total time at my house = 10mins. I WILL NOT be using this place again because I feel like they are out to make that quick money scheduling lots of appointments into one day and not caring about the customer. And a week later my ac is still not cooling well and I'm out $180 and 10 mins of my time.

Terrible customer service. We needed new duct work so we called Hansen's for an estimate. I also called another HVAC business but they did not return my call. I went and met with Heidi Hansen at their office and agreed to have them do the work. The workers arrived at my house a few days later at 8:20 a.m. to begin work. I arrived home at 6:00p.m. to find a pile of old ductwork dumped in the front yard on top of a tree I had just planted and the intake was blowing out air but not the vents.
I called Hansen's and the workers arrived later to finish the job. They were apologetic and did what was requested. They took measurement for new Vent covers and intake grate. I was told at the signing that they would be set up to come over on Saturday when we were home to finish the inside work. It is now 7:54 p.m. on Saturday night and I am still waiting.
I have tried calling the 24 hr. number and it goes to voicemail and tells me the voicemail is full. I tried calling and texting the job supervisor and he hasn't returned the message and his voice mailbox has not been set up. I am at a standstill not knowing when this job will be finished.

Provides 2x/year service on our furnace and air conditioner, as well as emergency calls. Hansen replaced another service provider that we used for 14 years, who overcharged and was not honest. Hansen's service men are smart, fast, and always have told us the truth. Hansen Heating & Air has always been thorough and straight up with us.

I have used Hansen in the past for maintenance on a VERY old system, and they were always helpful and prompt. I finally decided it was time to replace the old system. They gave me a fantastic price and I was surprised how fast they were. They had the new system installed and checked out in less than three hours. He even vacuumed my stairs for me.

I had 2 other companies come out to give me an estimate on cleaning the coils for my central AC prior to calling Hansen. My ONLY regret is that I didn't call Hansen first, but I'll never make that mistake again. The techs that came out were professional and knowledgeable, answered every one of my questions, gave me a FIRM estimate and stuck to it! Both their service charge and the repair work was less than the original 'rough' estimates.

We were new to the area a few years ago and talked to several Heating and Air companies. We felt most comfortable with Hansen. Recently we had Hansen's replaced one of our two AC units. They did a GREAT job and at a great price. The city inspector came by this afternoon and said Hansen's did a great job and exceeded all requirements. Thanks Hansen's! ML

I found this company on Angie's List and decided to contact them because of all the wonderful reviews. I was not disappointed. The priced quoted for replacing my heat pump heating and cooling system was very reasonable. On the day scheduled to install, they were here on time and amazingly completed the installation in less than two hours. They were very courteous and professional.

They came exactly when they said they would, took two hours, and left the area as clean as it was when they came in. These folks are polite, professional, and very efficient. Having dealt with two other area firms in the last 20 years, these folks are far and away the best we've used. Highly recommended.

Awful and awful. I am giving two stars because the after-hours service arrival was fast (less than two hours) after a lightning surge and a blow to my generator. The man who arrived told me he knew "nothing" about generators (in fact I had to open it up and point out components). But the following Monday their generator expert showed up, took the thing apart and left with two components he said needed replacing (I do not doubt him).
It took 11 days and five calls. Today I received my generator pieces back. This is very not cool. Given that it is hurricane season to even imagine being without my full-house generator is worrisome. Now I am back to square one but at least know to never use Hansen and wisely threw away that fridge magnet they gave me a couple of years ago. The receptionist is pleasant and the owner was aware of my situation. I don't want to dump on them too badly, but they won't have any future business from me.
