Because of incidents happening in the past month regarding AMSA being unresponsive and unreliable I can honestly say that the finger-pointing between the several companies that make up AMSA makes this company ineffective at monitoring my home.

I would give no star if it was possible. Stay away! This company has poor customer service, old outdated equipment and if that wasn't bad enough they will require you to enter a contract that you cannot get out of later. Trust me you will want to get out of the contract when the old tech equipment stops working. Save yourself money and headaches. Could be a better company if they understood customer service and quality equipment.

WORST COMPANY. Sends a person who claims to be both a tech and a salesman and who cannot estimate the time needed to fix my system. He himself said that it should normally last 20-25 years but it lasted less than 10. they should get negative points. I got a message from corporate that they would like to help which they never did. I finally got a private person to fix it and he did in 10 minutes.

Poor Customer Service is what I would say about AMSA. I have used them over 15 years as my security system provider. Recently, I have asked them to quote me for a new home. They sent someone and gave me the quote for home security and automation. When I was ready to finalize the deal, they came up with absurd reasonings to let me know that they wouldn't be able to do it. This is a newly built home. Needless to say, I was very disappointed with how they handled. For all new customers - please be aware of their changing stories.

Cheap equipment, unprofessional customer service, and they stick you in a 3yr contract that i dont remember agreeing to. They will upgrade your account with no problems but when askng for the basic minimum because of the pandemic they will not let me out or down grade y services. I will stay far away from this company. Cheaper and safer buying your own equipment and monitor yourself, . I wish i could give negative stars. STAY AYAY FROM AMSA.

DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY. the worst alarm company. I was a costumer for many years and I moved to a new home. I had to pay 700 dollars for a new system, they sent this Russian guys. he unlocked all my windows and let them unlocked. created a second passcode on the pad and share my information with the neighbor across the street after he finish in my new home. I called and complaint. the canceled my account with out any refund. PLS SAVE TIME AND MONEY DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

We have recently moved and the previous owner had AMSA as their service provider. Unfortunately, we have been locked into a contract with ADT and they came out and gave us a quote that was beyond something we would comprehend as reasonable- almost a small car could be bought for that pricing. Kevin O'Neal came out and took a once over on the property, we walked through the home and inspected the mainframe, the connections, and he made some recommendations for us.

He even went beyond what he was going to do to help me understand the nuances of the home itself. That being said, the break fee for ADT made our discussion and proposal untenable for now. I will be looking into working with Kevin and AMSA in the future.you can believe that. If you need support, ask for Kevin, he has been in the industry for years, and understands what is needed to help you achieve your security goals. Thanks Kevin and AMSA!

I have been a customer of AMSA since 2002. I have found their service, farmed out to My Alarm Center in recent years, to be prompt and reliable, and the repairs side of the business, still handled by AMSA, to be very competent. That notwithstanding, I do not plan to renew after my current contract expires in November. I'm not sure I should be blaming AMSA because My Alarm Center handles the billing.

After renewing a couple of years ago, I received an invoice in the amount of $5 for a DeKalb County licensing fee. I was fine with that and assumed it was invoiced separately so AMSA could show a slightly lower price for the actual service renewal. Again this year, I received the $5 invoice for the DeKalb County licensing fee and was good with it. Then, a couple of months later, I received another $5 invoice from My Alarm Center for a "license registration fee, " which I paid.

But I began to wonder why I was billed for a license registration fee after I paid the DeKalb County licensing fee. I called the billing number at AMSA and asked. The representative responded that the fee is for the county to allow them to service my house. I told her that I already had paid the DeKalb County fee. She then started grasping for straws, coming up with excuses, e.g. the fee was previously included in the service cost, that customers needed to be assessed the fee, etc.

She never offered to check my account to make sure the fee was not in error. The conversation left me wondering if I had been scammed, if AMSA or My Alarm Center was collecting an additional $5 from customers. Consequently, I wrote a letter to My Alarm Center asking for an explanation of the fee. They never responded to the letter, reinforcing the feeling that I had been scammed. The amount of $5 was of course very small, but their not responding to my letter combined with the fee left me with a bad taste.

Andrew Vargas was great and helped us choose what was needed for our setup - and Alan actually installed everything and was wonderful. We are very happy! Best price of 3 companies that gave us quotes.

As a Home Inspector, I am asked for referrals all the time by home buyers. I always recommend AMSA for alarm service. In almost twelve years of recommending AMSA, I have never had one client come back and say anything bad about them. Other companies have offered me money for referrals but I have refused. I believe a good service doesn't need to buy loyalty.

I recommend AMSA highly. Our family worked with AMSA on the design and installation of our home security system and we were very impressed with the flexibility and professionalism they showed throughout the process. We talked to several other security and monitoring companies, including all of the big national ones, but felt most comfortable with AMSA.

These guys are really on the ball! I've been impressed with how quickly the monitoring center called when I've set off the alarm by accident. Also, the customer service and support have been outstanding whenever I've needed them. I highly recommend AMSA.

Shawn Key sold me the system and John Kalena installed it. Shawn was very knowledgeable about the security system and once I saw their QOLSYS pad and what it could do I was sold. I downloaded their app and can do several things through remotely through my phone, including arming and disarming the system and viewing pictures that my image sensor takes if it is tripped.

I love my alarm system. Clark was my salesperson and he was detailed about everything from the time of install to the police dept. that would be notified. Scott was my technician and was very professional.

I've had AMSA service for over five years and the experience has been GREAT! The staff members are always prompt, efficient and courteous. In particular, I've had to contact Technical Support multiple times and Dan has always been available and helpful.

This is a note to let you know how pleased I am with my alarm system and monitoring. Recently my oven overheated and the system called the fire department in time to avoid a lot of smoke damage to the home. Additionally the law firm next to my office was broken into but my office was not. I attribute this to your warning decals and yard sign.
