I had a challenging drainage issue in my backyard. My neighbors had built up their yards over the years that it made my yard a bowl. On top of that there isn't much elevation to push water from the back to the street out front. Over about a years time I had two companies come out to see the flooding, take surveys, tell me they were creating a plan and then ghosted me. Caleb at Landscape 180 took on the challenge with an optimistic attitude.
We worked with my next door neighbor to have a pipe run along her back fence to push the water to the SIDE street. They added 4 drains around the yard and a catch basin with a sump pump to push the water automatically to that side drain when it filled to a certain height. The yard will still fill up when we have those hours long heavy South Louisiana rains BUT it drains within a few hours instead of a week. NO MORE MUD! I'm ecstatic to have my yard back! (The dry photos are the afternoon after a heavy morning rain).
