Many successful businesses have humble beginnings, and Douthit Electrical is no exception. The owner of Douthit Electrical, Chuck Douthit, began his Career in 1985 as an apprentice with Tar Hill Electric, went on to work at Foamex as an industrial electrician, and studied electric code at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College before beginning work at Bryant Electric.
Chuck learned a lot, passed the test for electrical licensing on the first try, and knew it was time to do something more. Douthit Electrical began as Chuck doing small electrical service jobs out of his Toyota Corolla. The business grew rapidly from there as Chuck proved that he was a skilled licensed electrician with a strong work ethic who could take care of just about any electrical repair.

Darren came out to the house and did an awesome job and possible saved our house from a future disaster. House was hit by lightneing and Darren came out to assess the damage. he was very knowledgable and very thorough. He found a breaker that was overheating and we decided to replace it that day.
