It was a pleasure working with this company. They called me when the rain altered our schedule. They showed up when they indicated their teams would show up. There was good communication during the whole project. If I needed their services again I would be happy to call them.

The whole team has been extremely helpful from Skyler & Lindsey in the office to Geoff on site. I'm not at the house and have a friend coordinating with me. They have kept me informed, giving solid guidance while managing the circular communication process. Service: Toilet repair

We have had a lot of work done by Halpin and it has always been top quality. The only complaint I have is that, on several occasions, they have said they would get back to me with an answer to a question or some other information but they failed to do so. It was always easy enough to just call and remind them though, so not really a huge deal. Overall I have had a pretty good experience with Halpin

Luke arrived on time and was very professional. It was a quick fix of the handles on my utility sink to stop leaking. Luke also noted several additional items related to my water heater that may need addressing in the short term and he explained why in a very easy to understand way. Within minutes of him leaving, I had a copy of my invoice emailed to me along with an estimate for the work we discussed while he was here. I highly recommend Luke and Halpin Plumbing!

Halpin was on time, and Luke was our plumber. We had several issues in the house, and Luke carefully looked at each, and we discussed what should be done now, and how much it would cost. He was efficient and very friendly, with no pressure to do more than we wanted. The cost was as expected. I would definitely use Halpin again, and really liked that I was able to contact and book online. The communication prior to the appointment was excellent and greatly appreciated.

Our plumbing tech was very professional, knowledgeable, and explained clearly the issues and the fix. We have a 60 year old back outlet toilet that is not typical for residential use that has been problematic for other plumbing outfits.

Had a kitchen sink clog, called 3 other plumbers first [my mistake], all had 4 days to 2 weeks before someone could come out. Called Halpin and they shared they'd find a technician that was free and come ASAP. AJ Humphrey was at my door 20 minutes later. Very professional, friendly and worked quickly to clear the drain. We talked tips we could do to keep the drain from backing up again. Would definitely recommend Halpin and AJ for your plumbing needs.

I called Halpin about installing a remote gas fireplace for my mom. From the beginning to the end- I received white glove service from Sarah, the Service Manager. She was kind, professional, thorough and knowledgeable. The technicians, Larry and Christian, were very professional and knowledgeable. Larry kindly reviewed information with my mom so she felt comfortable using it. They did an awesome installation- the fireplace looks amazing! I highly recommend this company.

Halpin came out to quote a water main break. They did not tell me it's $55 for a quote- until the guy was leaving and asked for the money. (Lesson learned- always ask if the quote is free) He verbally quoted me $3,200 for a repair and $4,500 for the whole line to be replaced. Came out on a Thursday- emailed me a quote on Wednesday the following week and it's $3895 for repair and it's $5275 for a whole line replaced! What a joke. In the time it took for him to give me my quote a company quoted me, replaced it for $1200 less than his first quote and we already have water!

Where do I start? From the beginning it was a disaster. Receptionist is rude, service techs knowledge was entry level on a good day. Then the quote on something that didn't need done. Literally could have bought a car with that quote ($3500) and I personally fixed it for under $500 in 10 minutes. Smh

Really professional experience with Halpin Plumbing this morning. Showed up on time. Luke (and understudy Kyle) were 100% professional. Darrel professionally scoped, hydro washed, and installed a new liner in my sewer pipe. He explained each process as it was performed so I could better understand each step. He told me he had to go through training to get certified for this work and that he had been doing it for several years. He also showed me the materials he was using and how the process worked. Darrel and his team also had to replace a wye pipe under the garage floor. I appreciated the information, the friendliness, and the professionalism in the work that they completed.

I had an underground water leak in my lawn. The service was prompt, they used the absolute best quality materials to make the repair. My plumber Darrel, specifically was extremely knowledgeable, and I am a tradesman myself, just a different trade. But I can tell when someone really knows their stuff vs when they are blowing smoke. every effort was made to minimize damage to my lawn, and the office staff was very responsive and helpful.

If I could put more than 5 stars I would. The price may be a little high, but you get what you pay for, and the work done is worth more than it costs. If you want the cheapest plumber, maybe not for you. But if you want the best, you can't go wrong using Halpin.

We called Halpin Plumbing because there was sewage backing up in my brother -in-law's basement! We have used them before at our house so we knew Halpin could help! We spoke to Lindsay who called us back very fast especially since it was an after hours emergency call. She was very helpful. Larry came to the house prepared and got the backup to stop!

Halpin Plumbing does things the right way! From calling and speaking with Lindsey to having Larry and Pedro at our home to fix a sewer pipe in our basement - their customer service is top notch. Larry and Pedro did great quality work, worked very clean and made sure that I understood what was wrong and how they would fix it. This is a professional company with people that care about their work and ensure that the work is done correctly and that the customer is satisfied. If you're looking for great customer service and want to know that the work is being done the right way, I highly recommend Halpin.

I had a sewage back up that started coming into my upstairs bathroom shower. It was mortifying. I called several places and they all told me they would come in 2-3 DAYS. I called Halpin plumbing and the owner happened to take the call. When I told him the situation, he immediately told me that this won't wait and he would send someone out within two hours.

They showed up, within a hour, took care of the mess, told us NOT to throw baby wipes into the toilet, even if they said they are flushable! Sure enough, there was a huge backup which he handled quickly with great efficiency. This happened last year but I am still impressed with the great customer service!

Recommended by my realtor. Came earlier than expected and called to make sure it was ok with me. Diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it. Didn't make a mess. Darrel and Pedro very pleasant and professional. And my bathroom works! I'm very happy.

I would like to highly recommend Halpin Plumbing for an outstanding job that they did over the weekend on our condo in Hyde Park. Geoff Halpin the Plumber was extremely helpful and gave me an update frequently so I was aware of what was happening. He even brought space heaters to keep the condo warm while we waited for our heat to get turned on by Duke. Though my bill was really steep but the problem was resolved.

Be careful of the charges! $400 for a job that was less than 2hours! Had a simple job. Replace the faucet in my powder room with the one I bought. When making the appointment the receptionist never asked if it was a single or remote handles. Apparently those cost more. $403.00 to install. The tech was a wonderful guy. My job had no issues. Easy removal and replace. He said that they base the price on jobs that are complicated. I would not call again without asking the base price.

Had a fantastic experience with Halpin's Plumbing today. We called yesterday due to an unpleasant odor from a drain in our basement. They were able to schedule with us for the very next day. Their plumber Darrell called to let me know when they were on the way and arrived right on time. Darrell asked me what issues we were having, looked around and then said we should start with the FREE sewer scope (we had a valupak coupon) and go from there.

They worked inside and outside (in the pouring rain!) to get as good of an assessment as our pipes would accommodate the camera to go. Thankfully nothing urgent to fix, but Darrell gave several recommendations and options that could help fix the odor problem we are having and advised starting with the most economical. He also advised on potential causes to the water influx in our basement and some of the options for fixing that issue as well.

As well as looked at a few plumbing things I may want to do in the future and let me know if they were possible and a rough guesstimated cost. At the end. I wasn't charged a dime. They said the coupon for the free scope covered their visit! Their excellent customer service, professionalism, and sound advise earned my future business as well as my referral to anyone needing a good plumber! Thank you, Halpin's!

We had a gas line run through our home and connected to our stove. We previously had oil heat. Halpin was fantastic. Timely and reasonable in their quote, professional in explaining the work to us, and ultimately successful in getting the job done. We could not recommend Halpin Plumbing more!

Great people. The receptionist was friendly, attentive and helpful. The service technician was on time, knowledgeable and took his time to dumb it down and explain what was wrong and what my options were to fix my water heater. The quote was reasonable and they have a good reputation.

A great experience - our service person called when he was on the way, and arrived at the scheduled time. He was very helpful and professional. It was also helpful that he had a new toilet in his truck to replace our leaking one - saved me a trip to the store and a return service call. No one likes having plumbing problems, but it is great to have them solved so easily.

I've been using them for years -- to hook up gas lines for dryer, fix a yard faucet at $100 an hour (typical plumber rate). But this time they billed per "project rate" at nearly $600 (minimal parts) to fix leaky bathtub faucet and install hall bath faucet I bought at Home Depot (for $100). Robert, repairman, was polite, arrived two hours early (problematic first thing in the morning with kids home on Christmas break). Explained problem with our low flow faucet (build up of calcium inside faucet).

Expect to pay $345 to replace a faucet (if you provide the fixture), $250 to replace cartridges on leaky faucets with functioning hardware. Expensive and more like $200 an hour.

I have been using Halpin Plumbing for years and they are excellent - they always respond promptly to calls and their service people are prompt and courteous. They take the time to explain the problem and solution. Yesterday we had a problem with our water heater which was installed by our builder and was under warranty - Halpin went to the trouble of putting us in touch with a Company that deals with warranties and within a few hours they were here and the problem was taken care of. I would not hesitate recommending Halpin Plumbing. They are local, family owned and great.

Bait and switch. They came out to do an estimate, never give, e a price and then socked me an expensive bill when they did very very little work. Would not provide a statement of services or any type of itemization (because they did almost nothing). Scam. This company also operates JPH Property Investments. Research both companies before doing any business with these people!

I used Halpin plumbing to redo the water line from the street to my house. Darrel came out and gave me an estimate and explained exactly what he would do. His estimate was much more reasonable than others I received. The work was scheduled for yesterday and he said he would be there at 8:30. He showed up right on time (actually a minute early) and got right to work.

He worked hard all day and was complete quicker than he estimated. He did a really good job and was great to work with. Looking back, since he finished by 3pm I should have had him give me estimates on other plumbing stuff around the house, as I would totally use Halpin plumbing again.

We used Halpin a few years ago to repair a broken sewer line, and that was a great experience. This time we called to get a small sink replaced in our half bath. The person that showed up was late, and the estimate we received, according to the person that came, wasn't really an estimate, because he didn't really know what it would take to get the job done.

We paid for an estimate, we received fluff. I called the office the next day, got a call the following day, and the conversation was mostly defensive and evasive. We got back the money paid for the estimate, but we'll take our business elsewhere for this and future jobs.

Halpin came highly recommended by a co-worker. Work was done in a timely fashion. The crew was professional and clean. Quote was middle of the road, not the highest or the lowest. Very thankful for a new main water line with minimal damage to the yard.

Called Halpin Plumbing with a severe shower clog. The plumber showed up on time and was incredibly professional. He went to work right away and within an hour he had the drain cleaned out and flowing.

I can't say enough about Halpin Plumbing! I am SO PLEASED! I had a broken pipe underground, that required digging up the front yard, replacing the pipe, destroying and killing the tree roots that caused the problem.

Halpin does a great job. They are courteous, fast, professional and, most importantly, honest! My water heater was knocked out by a basement flood and it looked like we'd be without hot water for 3 or 4 days; but Halpin stepped up and got us a new water heater the same day. The guys who installed the water heater couldn't have been more professional, even though it was the end of a very busy and long day for them and this job was not a part of their original plans. I won't call anyone else for my plumbing needs.

Halpin did an amazing job clearing out the tree roots in my sewer lines. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional the whole time. They also discovered that the root infestation went out to the public sewer lines, and went above and beyond to help me out by contacting and coordinating with MSD of Cincinnati.
