Pioneer Plumbing Pioneer Plumbing Heating and Cooling uses American-made materials, fixtures and repair parts. The quality of American-made fixtures and repair parts is superior to that of products made abroad. Although the initial cost may be a little more, in the long run American-made is less expensive because it will stand up to normal use better and last longer than the less expensive, poorer quality foreign product.

I will not do anything at your home or business that I wouldn't do at my own home.

Sean and Dawson came out today and put in a whole new A/C unit in for us. They were both very nice very professional. We have a few extra obstacles to come out and fix things at our house as we live out so far. They were both very accommodating. I have a broken leg. They helped me pen my calf up and then put all of the wood back for me. They did a great job! We are back up and running with cold air again. I would definitely be a repeat customer and recommend them to anyone.

We highly recommend Pioneer Plumbing! We had an unusual plumbing problem that puzzled other plumbers. Ray figured it out and fixed it! And when the dry wall guy couldn't come over as planned to fix the cutout in the wall, Ray stepped up and finished it for us. Top notch service!

We've been using Pioneer Plumbing for three years, since we bought our new home. They have done extensive work for us and we have always been very happy with the quality and customer service from the plumbing crew. Danny Perez is absolutely the best and has gone above and beyond for us on multiple occasions, including in emergencies. We have loved having a plumber who we could count on and who genuinely cared about our needs.

The back office has not always been so on top of things. Pioneer did a project for us in 2019 and neglected to bill us for over a year. A small piece of that project ($150) was repairing a pipe our exterminator broke, which the extermination company asked Pioneer to bill to them directly. When it was brought to our attention that they never invoiced us, we paid them right away, except for that small bill, which we asked Pioneer to send to the exterminator, and they did.

Many months later, in September 2021, we got a call from Pioneer saying they had never been paid the $150. We'd had a death in the family and were out of state at the time, and asked for some time to follow up with the extermination company given the circumstances. We received a couple of voice mails from Mike at Pioneer over the next two weeks, followed by a text in week three threatening to send us to collections.

We were once again about to travel out of state, this time for the memorial service. We have impeccable credit, because we always pay our bills, so on our way to bury my wife's mother I took time during a brief layover to call Pioneer and pay the bill so it wouldn't go to collections, knowing we would likely not now be able to recoup it from the exterminator.

This was the last thing we should have had to think about at that time. This experience was so completely out of character for Pioneer and the excellent, personalized service we were accustomed to receiving. My wife spoke with an owner about it and apparently Mike was just doing his job and there was nothing wrong with the way he treated us, so we won't be using or recommending Pioneer again. Pro tip to local businesses: when a good loyal customer asks for a little extra time to take care of something in a time of crisis, and it's no big hardship to you, grant it.

Your kindness will not be forgotten. If your company is a jerk to someone who is grieving and makes an incredibly hard time even worse, we are not likely to forgive that. All you had to do was show a little compassion and give us another couple of weeks, Mike, but you got your lousy $150. Hope it was worth losing a customer.

Had the main water-line from the meter (on my side of the property line - of course) sprung a leak after 10 years of usage. The line was leaking like a sieve, so I originally called another 24-hr plumber (the company name is withheld) - that was a big mistake. The first plumbers arrived five hours after their original promised time, and when the plumber did arrive (at 9:00 PM) he told me that he couldn't help me, and that I'd have to completely pull all of the plumbing from the water main to the house at a cost of over $3500!

After I told the plumber I think that's a little high to replace some couplings and a new water pressure regulator, the conversation quickly turned into asking if I were interested in financing the repair. No way was I going to go for that. Next morning my coworker recommended Pioneer, and said he had a good experience with them in the past for a very similar problem.

I'm glad I called them. Pioneer quickly sent out two technicians and they quickly fixed the leak for $250. I was satisfied with their professionalism, and without the pressure to invest into a major expenditure that I wasn't ready to commit to.

We used Pioneer Plumbing to install some gas pipe into our house, and while there were some staffing delays in the process, the end result was reasonably priced and well done. The installers were professional, knowledgeable, and willing to ensure that the end result was right, even after a mistake on my part requiring an extra visit.

3:30 A.m. Woke up in a puddle of sweat, A/C was wailing away with no cooling. So sad, so hot. After a few attempts of on/off switching battle with the thermostat-no response from A/C. Determined that the compressor was not engaging, hopefully it was a mere capacitor failure. Called at 3:47 a.m. and pushed 9 for the emergency hotline to the guy on call. it took 3 maybe 4 rings.i was fearful no response after the third ring, I knew the heat of the day would be estimated to be 112 degrees.

I had myself, a young man, my eldery father and our old chihuahua to worry about with the impending heat wave approaching. On the fourth ring a man answered and a wave of relief flowed over me. He was so polite, joyful, and made me feel at home as he clearly was waking up. He bounced some jokes back and forth between us as he got on the horn and called his A/C guy to work us into the Schedule for THE SAME DAY!

They managed to work us in for a late morning appointment to save us from the emergency fee (we think.) while providing same day service. Dawson and Friend (name?) showed up right around 11 a.m. when the temperature outside hit 100. Within 20 minutes we had cold air flowing after the capacitor was replaced. While here we were recommended and quoted a freon recharge ranging from 300-400.

We agreed and the total bill was just shy off $400 including labor, recharge, and capacitor replacement! BY NOON WE WERE PUTTING ON CLOTHES in our home again (like civil folks). YEEESSS! Also on June 4th we used this business for unclogging our kitchen sink which was draining very slowly. Same deal, got us an appointment to wave the emergency fee (we think.) showed up on time, very pro, polite, and courteous. Gave free advice on my ancient toilet (replacement needed) and unclogged my sink in no time.

Best experience with a Plumbing and Cooling company in the same month! Usually a plumbing or cooling is major failure and is costly to repair and both times in a month, this company saved the day and made it very easy on the wallet, time, and accommodations. Will use this company for any and all my future plumbing and cooling needs and recommend to all I can! So FRIENDLY! LUV U! Thank you! -Hobbs

I recommend Pioneer Pluming, one of the best vendors in town. When calling the office, the staff is extremely professional and kind. They were so helpful and attentive when a listing of mine needed a mini-split system installed. They were quick to give a fair estimate and worked with me carefully to schedule the work. Thank you Pioneer!

We've used Pioneer for small jobs in the past with no issues as they are very quick to come out but they really came through when we had to do an emergency whole-house replumbing with PEX when the old galvanized pipes catastrophically gave out. They scheduled us quickly and did all the plumbing work in one day (!) meaning the water was only off for a few hours.

Everybody else associated with the job (drywaller etc) also did great and was easy to work with. The pricing ($8K) was reasonable due to the large amount of work, drywalling, permit etc. Jim the project manager was easy to communicate with on e-mail. For a job this size it was remarkably painless.

Pioneer Plumbing installed a new AC unit on my house. I had spent months shopping around for an AC unit, Alaskan Air Conditioning & Heating, Perry Heating & Cooling and Hamstra, Pioneer was the best bang for the buck! The old one was over 20 years old. I talked with Jim, he walked me through all the options as to what would work best for my house and budget.

He emailed me those options so me and my wife could review them. There was no high pressure sales, just educating us on options. He even gave me some great advise about re-coating my rubber roof coating under the old unit, before they installed the new one. Now I have a new 15 year roof coating under my new AC unit. The install guys were great. We have 3 large dogs, so we had to coordinate the installers coming in the house. The installers text me that they would be ready to come in an hour. I came home and let them in the house. 45 minutes later I was back to work. Thanks Pioneer!

I had Pioneer Plumbing install a gas line at my home for a pool heater and they did a great job. They kept the site cleaned and when they were done with the trench they back filled and they place the existing landscape rock back like nothing was done what a great job I would definitely recommend them.

We noticed the pipes corroding on our hot water heater. We called first thing in the morning and sent photos to the office. They called back within 30 minutes scheduling a plumber to come over by noon. RJ fixed it within an hour and we were good to go. We have used Pioneer Plumbing several times and every time their office staff is amazing in scheduling and talking through our repairs, and then their pluming staff is so professional in your home. They really go above and beyond which is rare to see now days with many companies. I would highly recommend them.

I have used Pioneer 3 times in the past 4 months for 3 different jobs (removing/replacing water lines on my roof so I could have it replaced, troubleshooting an issue in my kitchen and snaking roots from my service line). Each time they were timely, professional, thorough, honest and competitively priced. Highly recommended.

This is about the work Pioneer did in Flamingo Palms Mobile Home Park. They are asked to map the underground gas line. During the excavation, Pioneer crew accidently broke the waterline. Then Pioneer charged me at Emergency rate of $180/hour instead of the regular $45/hour! This caused us to pay more than $3000! As a decent customer, we paid the bill (total bill over $9,000). We think this is not fair and we complained to Better Business Bureau already. Pioneer Plumbing, please do the right thing!

After some unhappy experiences with other plumbers on our various rental properties around town, Pioneer was recommended to us. We've had them do a number of jobs from installing cut off valves in an old building that didn't have them to replacing old 1950s era showers with something more modern - they've always done a great job, very professional and courteous, on time, quality work. No, they're not the cheapest plumbers you can get your hands on but we trust them with any critical work more than any other plumber we've used (and we've used a number).

I had a great experience with the guys at Pioneer Plumbing. They took care of the problem as fast as they could and really made an effort to get our hot water back on. It was a successful job and I can tell that they are really committed to making their customers happy. I am so glad we got a 5 year warranted with them. Hopefully we won't need to use it too much but I know when we do, we can count on them to help us out. An extra big thank you to Kevin for taking such good care of us!

Mike Hollywood is absolutely amazing, he has spent so much quality time coming back and forth to our house to help with our recurrent AC dilemma. When I call him, and he has been willing to come next day without question to help us out no matter what his schedule is for the day. He is very responsive and always answers my calls to reassure me that everything will be okay, and I believe him even when it's 115 degrees outside! I highly recommend Pioneer due to his fantastic customer service!

A plumber was sent out quite speedily to fix an emergency. Price didn't seem too extraordinary and soon the problem was resolved. Two days later the parts which were installed failed rendering all the parts and labor invalid. Of course, I called back and let them know the problem and was told that the $12 in parts would be covered but we would have to pay for the labor again.

I can somewhat understand this if it had gone six or eight months before failing but this was it within 48 hours. I ended up calling a different plumber who said that the parts were installed wrong which would, of course, have the original problem repeat itself again so soon. This just seems like very bad form. I have waited several weeks to post this for my emotions to settle.

I am still irritated. I think a three star review is perhaps overly generous but I have to factor in my anger level. The tone of the representative was sort of just "tough luck". Tough luck is when your burger is overcooked not when you drop $500 thinking you're getting a professional repair.

Called about a problem. Upfront about the costs related to labor and truck charge. Mike was very friendly, showed up early and finished the work in a timely manner. The only thing I would have negative to say is that in removing insulation on pipes and not having any to replace it with on the truck.

Cassius arrived and immediately evaluated the job: remove/install a water heater. Cassius described the work to be done and listed the parts that would be required. Cassius had me sign the authorization for the work, which specified a start time of 8:43 AM, which I assume was the time he arrived on the property. The good: Cassius is fast, really fast.

The job was completed at 9:33, or earlier, since that is the time I saw after walking inside the house. Extra good: Cassius knows his stuff and installed the heater to code, adding items that were absent from the previous heater: Gas drip, 3' pipe to from the pop-off valve, plus a new cold water supply valve, because the existing one did not work. Included in the work was removal of the old heater.

The bad: The work took less than an hour to complete; however, Cassius charged for the 10+ minutes that he spent completing the invoice, adding an additional $25 to the bill. I complained and Cassius was kind enough to supply a $15 coupon which dropped the labor from $122, to $107. I was happy. So why do I bother describing this? Because looking at the invoice later, I discovered that Cassius changed the "in" time on the invoice, after I authorized the work.

He changed 8:43 to 8:38. He should have noted this and had me initial the change. The "out" time on the invoice reported 9:43 AM. Is it just coincidence that the change resulted in an extra $25 in labor? Lesson learned: pay attention to the start and stop times, as a few minutes can mean a big difference.

I was very happy with the high quality expert work by Pioneer Plumbing. Cassius (on 3 occasions for various fixture replacements) was on time, fast, efficient, and did all my jobs in an excellent fashion! Another plumbing company thought I would have to replace the piping in the house in order to get good water pressure again (a 5K job?). Not so, Cassius simply replaced the water shut-off valves and the pressure was back to full use after his swift work!

Our house was built in 2001 with what's called a "manifold" in the laundry room. The manifold is like an electrical box, except for water. Two big water lines go in (hot and cold), and a bunch of water lines go out, two for each faucet, one (cold) for each toilet, etc. Very handy. Ours started leaking, leaving a puddle on the floor. Plumber #1: Bad news.

Your plumbing is obsolete. Nobody uses this kind of manifold block anymore. And nobody uses this particular kind of plastic piping anymore, even though it's not the dreaded Polybutylene piping that caused so many problems.) We will have to re-plumb the whole house. Plumber #2: Where are you? You said you'd be here, but you never showed. Plumber #3: This fitting here at the top is loose, and it has some rust on it. I'll tighten it and see if it stops leaking.

If it does, call us back and we'll replace it. If it still leaks or if the leak is coming from elsewhere on the manifold block, we can replace it no problem. Really? The other guy wanted to re-plumb the whole house? Plumber #4: Your appointment is Friday, sometime between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Hey, Plumber #4? Never mind. Thank you Plumber #3, Pioneer Plumbing!

After scouring ALL the reviews on Yelp and elsewhere, we finally decided on a plumber to call about an ongoing although not urgent plumbing issue. When that company never returned my call, we tried Pioneer. Spoke with Nicole who got a team out that day. Even though I told her it certainly wasn't an emergency, she said it was no problem. They were actually able to come out earlier, which was great.

The team was professional, polite, and seemed to know what they were doing. They couldn't fix our issue (they think maybe it's septic related, ugh), but we were happy with their service. The only downside, the price. The $127 bill was a bit high considering they couldn't help us and were here for maybe 20 minutes. But, shame on me for not asking what their fees were before booking them. Lesson learned. I'd say 4 stars for prompt friendly service, 3 stars factoring in price.

Pioneer plumbing was recommended to me by a friend and they were excellent. My 13 year old water heater went out and was leaking water. I had already ordered a replacement. I called these guys in the morning and they had a crew out that same afternoon to remove my old water heater and install a new one. The new water heater was a hybrid electric and had an additional connection that had to be piped for the condensation.

They yanked the old one out (still mostly full of water, which saved time) and installed the new one in a couple hours. They were really friendly and happy to answer any questions I had while they worked. I would use them again!
