For six decades, ever since Jack Owens and his wife June incorporated Tucson Plumbing, we've been the go-to plumbers for builders and homeowners alike. In fact, we've plumbed 25% of all new homes built in and around Tucson. Suffice it to say, we know our way in and around pipes. We have a long, storied history of doing high-quality work with second-to-none customer service.
But what separates us from the rest are our fully licensed, insured and experienced service technicians. In fact, we have instilled an "old school" work ethic that dictates character, respect, and honor towards every single customer, be they a large commercial account or a homeowner who needs us once in awhile.

Green Plumbing
Report
Here in the Sonoran Desert, where the annual rainfall is about 10 inches, water is perhaps our most precious resource. Conserving water is an implied responsibility and every drop we save is important. Things like a leaky faucet not only wastes a significant amount of water, but it quickly adds up on your water bill. Tucson Plumbing can help you save your hard earned dollars.
Filtration
Report
If you've lived in Tucson for any length of time, you've probably noticed we don't have the best water in the world. As with most treated water, getting rid of the bad stuff means leaving behind some things we don't want, such as chlorine and chloramines. These chemicals are introduced at the treatment plant to kill harmful bacteria.
Water Heater
Report
We take pride in offering the best possible solutions for your hot water needs. We can install and repair conventional tank style water heaters, such as Bradford White. Or we can take you to the next level with a high efficiency hybrid tankless water heater, like Navien, that gives you endless hot water.
Emergency
Report
Nobody likes plumbing emergencies. They usually happen at night or on weekends and they're almost always messy. Of course we always prefer to meet and serve you under more relaxed circumstances with a scheduled appointment, but sometimes you need immediate assistance. No worries - we don't charge extra for holidays, nights or weekends. For emergency repairs, call 520.881.6000,
Fixture Upgrades
Report
On some emergency or scheduled repair calls (e.g. to stop a bathroom faucet leak) we may determine the fixture is beyond repair and must be replaced. If this is the case, our technician will inform you of the situation, and provide price range options for new components. Flexible water lines or valves may also need replacement.

Very trust-worthy. I called them to get a second opinion because another company said I had a collapsed pipe. Tucson Plumbing came out and unclogged the pipe which the other company did not do and removed some roots which was the actual problem. The other company sent a quote to jackhammer through the tile floor to the pipe and repair the "collapsed" section for over $3700 without tile and drywall repair which would have cost more. Call Tucson Plumbing.

I had just received a sky high water bill and the neighbor happened to notice water spraying out of my outdoor irrigation valve- of course this was in the middle of a three day weekend. I called Tucson Plumbing on Saturday and Lisa managed to get me on the schedule for Tuesday. Adam notified me of his arrival time and then spent about four hours repairing the irrigation piping outside my home.
The problem turned out to be quite complex and he was in communication with a coworker. The final result was very satisfactory and we agreed to follow up in a few months regarding replacement of some additional parts of the same system. He was personable, professional and knowledgeable. I appreciated his hard work and successful solution.

Adam was sent out on an emergency call, so missed our scheduled time, but we were notified in plenty of time, by both the office, and later contacted by Adam. When Adam finished the emergency call he contacted us, and said he was 30 minutes out. He arrived, went right to work, and had our water heater up and running in less than one hour (we were having the anode rod replaced). Very happy with the service, and the service provider! Adam was enjoyable to interact with, and had the skills needed. Thanks, Adam!

Gabriel Delgado serviced my home today, Per my request, arrived on time, prepared to replace shut water valves. He explained why my old house needed this service, walked me out to show me shut off valves to the house, =. Good information. Then wrote down the estimate for cost of work. He quietly repaired everything, then inspected my waterheater, and suggested at its age, I consider it being replaced. Gave me estimate for that. Im very pleased with the service. Thank you Gabriel and Tucson Plumbing.

I received estimates from 2 other licensed plumbing contractors for the repairs I needed after buying a home and both came in around $2000. Brandon from Tucson Plumbing gave a nearly $8000 estimate and this would not include the drywall repair after the plumbing work. Brandon told me I would have to replace my entire tub surround (not true, new cartridges were available for about $200 and did not involve any tile removal or replacement), he looked in the tub access panel where one of the leaks was occuring and after a quick glance said "this was leaking, but it's not anymore".I literally had to say "do you want me to turn on the water?" When I turned the tub on, he saw the obviously leaking galvanized pipes that had been indicated on the home inspection and kept saying "oh, this is bad, this is really bad!". Additionally, I wanted the pipes in the primary bath to be capped off because I am not planning on using the tubs and he charged me 30 minutes of labor for removing the cap of the cartridge handles that I did not want to replace in the first place.
One of his suggestions for dealing with the dripping faucet was "you can turn the main water off for the house and then turn it back on when you want to use it".what? I still did not feel right about the seemingly inflated estimate a couple of months after the visit so before posting a review, I gave the company a courtesy call to share my experience but Jasper's indignant response saying that I "blindsided him" and I was "calling nearly 2 months after the fact!" when trying to give the company feedback solidified my decision to post this review.
I'm not sure if Brandon didn't want to do the work and was trying to price the company out of the job or just didn't know how to handle the repairs. In the end, I was able to have all the repairs, including drywall patching, with one of the other licensed contractors for about $2500, the galvanized pipes were updated to copper, and everything was completed in about 2 days.
Definitely shop around. Edit: Per the company's response: I did not ask for a refund of the trip charge or the 30 minutes of labor. Also did not threaten a bad review--would have been willing to not post a review if the company had listened to my concerns and my poor experience. Instead Jasper was defensive and unprofessional in his response. Go with another company.

Service staff Brandon arrived on time and diagnosed the problem with ease. PVV valve was replaced quickly and without issue. I have used this company to do other routine home plumbing services and have always been pleased with their professionalism and value. Dori is always great in getting someone sent out for service call within a reasonable amount of time (3-4 days). The wait time for other local vendors was much longer and they charged extra for travel time. I live in Vail/CDT area.

The service technician arrived on time and was very courteous. Brandon fixed our tankless water heater and changed filters in the whole house water filtration system. The process was done timely and professionally and cleaned up afterwards. We will continue to call Tucson Plumbing for our household needs. Thanks! Service: Water heater repair

Special thanks to Tucson Plumbing. We have a house guest who wanted to shower in our guest bathroom yesterday. No water came out of shower head. Since we don't use that shower on a regular basis, we did not realize it wasn't working. Called Tucson Plumbing and nice gal in office apologized that they couldn't come out same day but could send someone out next day. Jesus came well before appointment time and got it fixed and up and running. He expLained everything and explained the fees. We were more than satisfied.

Brian did an inspection of our 17 year old house following work he did after a leak in one of the bathrooms. He found several areas of concern and returned to remedy everything. He was polite, worked quickly, cleaned up well, and showed and explained in detail what he did. We would recommend him with no reservations. Tucson plumbing saved the day. I had a leaking valve and had a different company come out first. Omg they were going to charge an arm and a leg. Brian came out and got my jive done quickly and very reasonably priced. Tucson plumbing is the only company I'll use from now on. Thank you for saving the day Brian. Service: Install water fixtures

Had an issue with a dripping toilet that turned into a bigger issue of actually needing to replace the whole toilet. Each time the technician came out they were on time, actually earlier than they said, they were extremely professional, friendly and the did the job in a quick and efficient manner. I was very pleased with this company and the technician who came out. I would highly recommend them.

Service Tech (Brian) was on time, very professional, addressed and resolved our issue with the water filtration canister. He also noticed an issue with the original installation of the pressure release hose bid and came back within an hour and corrected it. We appreciate good service and professionalism. Thank you

We needed service work done so I called Tucson Plumbing. We use them for new construction too. Brian called to let me know he was on the way. He arrived shortly after and got to work! He installed a new kitchen faucet and fixed some other issues (dirt in the water line and a constant running toilet). The new faucet looks great, and everything is in good working order. Also, the price was a lot less than I thought it was going to be. Brian was very nice and professional. Thank you!

Ricky and Brian arrived ahead of their estimated time (they had called ahead) and were very professional in terms of attitude and appearance. Tools to complete the job were immediately available and handled most professionally, competently, and with speed. Couldn't ask for a better crew to handle the disconnect of lines prior to some remodeling to take place. They even went above the call to help me slide an appliance out of the way. Couldn't ask for a nicer crew. Thanks Tucson Plumbing for sending Brian and Ricky!

Two men (one a new hire in training) came to my home. I had to request that they wear masks and then had to remind one of the men to put it on after being out in his truck. They did not have booties with them or bring any lysol wipes per the website statement below. These are all professional practices that have been in place with contractors for pre-covid.
I have asthma and do all that I can to keep my home clean and as free as possible of allergens and viruses. I rarely write a review like this and hope it helps discerning customers. The manager stated he did not want to get into a political discussion when I noted my feedback. He missed the point and attempted to minimize my concerns. These issues are about professionalism and health and leaving the job as clean as you found it. "At Tucson Plumbing we take the health and safety of our customers very seriously, especially now.
Please know that when you need our services, our techs will be wearing latex gloves and booties at all times while at your home or office, and we will wear a dust mask at your request. We also carry and use hand sanitizer and Lysol wipes. Safety first!"

This is specifically for Steve T We called Tucson Plumbing and talked to Dori, the dispatcher. We told her that we had a clogged kitchen drain and a leak. She said she would get someone out to see us on Monday, since we called on a Friday. We asked if all the plumbers were employees and she said yes! She also said that all the plumbers were employed ten years or longer.
When the plumber showed up Monday, we found out that Dori did not accurately describe our problem on the work order, but he came expecting only a leak. We also found out that the truck that came out with the plumber, who was an independent contractor, was not fully equipped to handle a clog further than 50 feet from the kitchen sink. our clog was past 50 feet.
The longer snake was not on the truck due to the lack of equipment distributed to the contractors. The plumber. Brian, was very exceptional, and was highly skilled. However, without the proper tools, he did his best, After over three hours, Brian left with everything apparently working properly. An hour after he left, the Clog returned and was worse than when we started.
We called, and Brian was to return the next day. He snaked it again with no success. He needed a longer snake! We immediately called the company and talked to Jasper, the supervisor over all the contracted plumbers. WITHIN THE COURSE OF TWO MINUTES, JASPER INSULTED MY WIFE, INSULTED ME, AND WAS SO RUDE, I ALMOST CAME THROUGH THE PHONE! Not only was he rude, but he lied to us blatantly throughout the phone conversation.
This guy has no business being on the phone ever with a customer. He has 0 people skills! We had to overlook Jasper's temper, bad manners, and rudeness with the hopes that they would return without charging us more than the $586 we already spent. Brian returned the third time with the proper snake. The problem was fixed to our satisfaction. We would highly recommend Brian, but were very dissatisfied with Jasper and the high prices charged by Tucson Plumbing.

Highly recommend! I've used Tucson Plumbing several times over the years. They have always been friendly and reliable. They have replaced hot water heaters, unclogged toilets and found where a leak originated in my rental unit. Their pricing is fair and customer service is professional. I also appreciate their support of the community.

Received an estimate for $650 to install a water filtration system that we purchased separately. I called to schedule the installation and was told that it would be an additional $200 because they had to run a line to our kitchen. Ok, now the estimate is $850. The tech called on the day of installation and told me that it would now be a minimum of $1,100-$1,200. Seriously?!

This past Wednesday our tankless hot water went out for the 4th time. In the past, Tucson Plumbing has been able to diagonose and repair our problems. The hot water heater was putting out a "code 11" which indicates that the gas is not properly igniting. This past April Tucson Plumbing replaced the igniter switch. When they came out on Wednesday, the plumber/tech came out without a gadget called a manometer, a standard and critical tool used to analyize gas pressure.
When the hot water heater company refused to work with him without the tool (duh, the unit runs on gas), the tech said that his boss would not let him come back till the end of week, walked off the job, and totally screwed us. The good news is that hours later Pioneer Plumbing got us up and running. I do not recommend Tucson Plumbing. I will never use them again for anything.

A drain always stops draining on a Sunday, right? Not a problem. I called Tucson Plumbing at 9 AM, requested an afternoon appointment after 1 PM and they were there at 1:30 PM. Darwin was the plumber who was dispatched - he was pleasant and skilled in his work. Within a short while, the drain was cleared - I couldn't have asked for a better experience. From now on, Tucson Plumbing will be my "go to" plumber! Thank you Tucson Plumbing!

As an out of state income property owner with an emergency plumbing issue, you want a company with excellent customer service and professional ability to handle tenant issues with reasonable respect and decorum. After calling the owner, Jasper, myself it was clear he was not willing to hear our concerns and for lack of a more appropriate term, he was a bully and threatening.
It is not my nature to write negative reviews, yet while attempting to have a "meeting of the minds" - communication went from poor to disastrous. This is a situation where it is necessary to post my experience and would not recommend due to aggressive tone and non-flexibility. It is unfortunate we could not come to an understanding which was equitable, rather than posturing and abusive.

The tech was very pleasant, clearly very experienced, and did an excellent job repairing our pinhole leak in a 3/4 copper line, but the resulting $521 charge was a bit exhuberant. We had the repair done on a Sunday morning and admittedly, the service was prompt (within 2 hours of our call), so I was prepared to pay a bit more for the work, but we were clearly overcharged by about $200.

I've been using Tucson Plumbing for several years, and just had a new hot water heater installed. Also I use a water filtration system on my house and they just changed the filters. My water tastes great. Last year the water never quite tasted right even though they came to check it. I'm not an expert but feel they are a little expensive; however, in my case I like the customer service and the ability to reach them easily. They've never been late for an appointment. The guys are always pleasant but I think some are more talented than others. In general I'm very glad they're there for my plumbing needs.

Scope was to check BBQ grill gas hookup and ensure right line between gas line and grill was used. The plumber checked and found the solution with my help in providing the manual and determined he did not have the right parts. So he went to the hardware and got the part and installed the right line. The installation was a plug in play but it took about as long as I would have replaced it - expecting quicker for a plumber.
In the end, I was charged for the hardware trip and longer than expected install - what started out as a $69 trip charge (which was basic) but it quickly added up for a $550 plumber job to replace 2 basic gas flex hoses! Very expensive for basic work in my opinion.

This company responded to my emergency of a faulty sewage pump system. I was particularly impressed with Dave who worked diligently to identify and repair the problem. He was pleasant and professional. He utilized his support system to figure out what was needed to effect the repair. I would not hesitate to call in Tucson Plumbing. I will definitely ask for Dave Willoughby to attend to our plumbing needs.

They came out to do what turned out to be some very trivial plumbing tasks at a minimum of a $69 trip fee which was agreed to. Once they arrived they gave me the quote (on the spot) it was $429 for what eventually turned out to be 1.5 hours of work and 3 inexpensive parts that I could have purchased at Hope Depot for $15. The quote was $429 which lead me to believe that maybe they might needed 4 hours to do the job. but actually took 1.5 hours!
These guys are rip off artists! An honest plumber would have charged me for the time ($/hr) it took and the parts at a reasonable price. And to top it off, when the owner was contacted he did nothing to reconcile the problem. This place cares only about one thing. themselves! Poor customer service and a greedy owner! I would not recommend this place to ANYONE.

The serviceman was very nice. He adjusted two toilets so they would flush efficiently. I also had a new kitchen faucet I wanted to have installed. He received an estimate for the installation from the home office. The estimated charge was $629.00. Unbelievable! I sent him on his way. I paid the 69.00 trip fee. So the estimate was $629.00 to install the faucet.
The serviceman adjusted the water flow in the toilets and said they were fine. I watched a 10 minute video showing how to install a faucet on you tube. Hardly a job worth $629.00! I think the elderly should be very careful!

I called on a Wednesday to schedule a plumber to come out for a construction bid. We scheduled for Friday. They gave me a range of time that they would arrive which was 8am -12pm. They also told me about their 70$ bid charge that would apply to the bottom line if scheduled. All of that was fine, except they never showed up. Thank you, Tucson Plumbing, for saving me the 70$ and showing me up front that you can not be dependable! I'll go with the other bid that showed up promptly, for free, as they promised.

Expert quality job done right the first time. Highly recommended. I have a new home in Civano and needed to add plumbing for a new water softener, water filtration system and the drainage for both with the loop back in the plumbing feed, not the plastic parts on the water systems. Another requirement of mine is that it has to look good when completed, both inside and outside.
Not a hack job. Ben from Tucson Plumbing came out, surveyed and discussed the possibilities with me on the estimation. I liked the plan, accepted the estimate and scheduled the work. Ben showed up on time and completed the work even better than I expected. The final work looked terrific and performed as required, no leaks, even hooked up my water systems for me.

1st. Let me say that at least we got the job done. This was neither after hours or on a weekend. Tim showed up an hr after the office told me he would Total time from the time Tim ( the plumber ) showed up till I got the bill was 1hr 50 min. I volunteered to help him to expedite matters ( I am a tradesman as well) and at no time was told hat I would be charged extra for the pleasure.
The process of replacing 2 valves 1 - 11/4 in ball valve and 1 -3/4 inch gate valve went smoothly except that I had to go to the store and purchase the valve! I also let Tim use my tools! He apparently did not have a saws all! For this I was charged $417! With my labor, my tools and my parts! Just about 2 X what the job was worth under extraordinary circumstances. this was not that. Am I angry?
You bet! When I got the bill I could not speak. I called the office the next day and the girl said Tim would call me back. When he did he said " it was out of his hands." Beware of this company.

Called for a quote--rough estimate--for a water heater and installation. They told me that they charge $69 for the trip and estimate. It's waived if they do the installation. I said that we just need to know if it's $500 or $900. Sorry--need to come out. Can't I get a ballpark figure? No--they need to come out. MANY other plumbers gave me a range. Sorry Tucson Plumbing. You lose.
