Chris and Travis came out to fix a fixture I had attempted to install myself. They were efficient and knowledgeable, running through all the possible solutions until finding the one that worked. Chris and his assistant were on time; quickly diagnosed my electrical issues; fixed the problematic issue; and, then re-checked the repair to make sure everything was running smoothly. During the repair process, Chris answered all my questions, making sure that I understood what the issue(s) were. I will gladly recommend American Electric on Atlantic Blvd. to my friends and family! Rose was the first person I worked with on the phone and she is very knowledgeable. She prepared the quote for me very quickly and is very responsive. Teri is also wonderful and made sure to confirm the install dates and keep me informed on the electrician's arrival times. Wesley and Robert took the time to come out beforehand and explained the work to be performed and the sequence of events. Wesley and Robert were very professional and so courteous! They made sure all my questions were answered and cleaned up when finished. Great job all, I will be scheduling more work soon!

When speaking to the office the ladies were very friendly and gave excellent details of costs. Not enjoying my experience with this business so far. I had two men come out last week and look around my house for two hours, just to be able to tell me they have a good idea of what the problem is, but they need a tool that is back at the office and someone will reach out to me Monday to come out and finish the repairs. After no word on Monday and the majority of Tuesday I called shortly before 4 on Tuesday and was told by their answering service the office was closed, despite their website and Google page stating they are open until 5.

I was told my message would be passed along and I'd receive a call today. I waited until 3 and again got no call. I called and once more got the answering service, who told me the office closes at 3. So far I have paid $300 to be told they think they know what the problem is and have had more conversations with their answering service than the actual company.

There were some hiccups in the quote process but this team bent over backwards to resolve the issue. The ladies in the office (Teri & Rose) worked very hard to take care of us. The technicians were quick, thorough and professional. We will call them for all future electrical needs. I highly recommend American electric.

I was referred by a relative and the service from Appointment to Install was prompt and professional. Everyone from dispatch to electrician was friendly and the results of the installation of lighting fixtures looks amazing. The chandelier was a difficult install but it was handled with no problem whatsoever. The kitchen is a great improvement from the previous 4' basic ballast that originally came with the home. Thanks to all at American Electric. I will be calling again for any electrical needs for my home.

They did a great job installing a new 12V pool light, and transformer. I had a hard time finding a company to install this light. Most electric companies in the area didn't know how to perform this type of service. The electricians that they sent had experience doing this type of installation, and were patient to explain how the entire setup would work.

For 18 years American Electric has been taking care of any electrical needs I have. ( general contractor). 100,000 volts on the navy base, to emergency generators for an entire building, to exterior lighting, to ballroom lighting.

I had a great experience with American Electric. The electrision, Wesley, explained to me everything he was going to be doing in my home upfront. He gave me a time frame for when he would be done and did not leave any mess from pulling the wires and cutting in my outlets.

Wesley and Mike from American Electric of Jacksonville came to replace florescent lighting ballasts and lamps throughout our office as many of the lights did not turn on. These friendly professionals completed the job fast, efficiently and most importantly - the right way.
