We're new to NC and needed a general contractor to handle some repairs and painting on our house. Our realtor recommended Jason and we're glad she did. Jason Hagens of NC Rebuild is easy going, was responsive to my concerns, competitively priced, attentive to details, very knowledgeable but most importantly, honest. I did not get the impression he would nickle and dime me to death with unforeseen issues and drive up the cost of my project like other bidders for the job did. My impression was correct.

His crew is highly competent and delivered a job well done. The after project punch list consisted of one item which was cosmetic and immediately corrected. I would use NC Rebuild again.

The team at NC Rebuild was wonderful! Jason came by to give us a free estimate on our roof which needed replacing. He noticed wind/ hail damage. He and his team fought tirelessly for months with our insurance company to finally get the entire roof replaced and fully covered by insurance. His team replaced our roof (including the wood under the shingles), replaced all the gutters, did some repairs around the house, replaced some siding, and painted.

He was very professional. In an industry where we found folks weren't always responsive, Jason was VERY responsive and answered all calls, texts, and emails immediately (and was happy to answer our insane amount of questions). He did the work in the time frame he said he would and was more of a perfectionist than we were. He and his crews were extremely professional and great to work with. I can not recommend Jason and team enough.

Jason did cedar siding repair and staining for us. He is prompt, thorough and professional. The job was very well done but what impresses me the most is that Jason helped me out six months later with some key advice on a solar panel installation that another company was doing. The willingness to follow up with us even though he was "done" with the job is a great sign of what a great service provider he is.

I used NC rebuild to repair a leak that four other contractors could not address/diagnose. We have been thrilled with Jason and his company! They installed a beautiful new roof, new gutters and repaired and replaced home siding. They repainted our home and repaired, sanded and stained our deck. Jason addressed all of the our questions or concerns throughout the process and ensured our happiness. One example: one of our outside water faucets got damaged by a Worker's ladder, which caused a big leak. Jason sprung into action and sent a plumber to replace the faucet perfectly and he stayed on site (past 8 PM) to ensure it was perfect. Jason is incredibly knowledgeable, transparent, and realistic: he taught me about my house and the repairs he recommended, was honest with me on feasibility, provided a competitive price, and didn't "nickel and dime" me for any minor additional repairs that needed to happen.

He visited the house multiple times to check in on how repairs began and progressed, and was incredibly communicative with me. We found Jason at NC Rebuild through a friend. Jason first installed a new roof and gutters with leaf guards three years ago. He was helpful in choosing the right shingle and shingle color which was a definite improvement to what we had. We love the gutter guards. They work very well in keeping the pine needles from accumulating. No more climbing a ladder, When we wanted our deck rebuilt, we called a Jason.

The job was done in a very timely manner. His crew just finished staining the deck and it looks great. Jason insists on his crew doing quality work. He may be more particular than I am. . He came out to give us an estimate for all new hardieplank siding, painting and gutters, and was completely honest by letting us know we really didn't need to replace all our siding. Following hurricane Florence, many are seeking a professional and trustworthy company to install a new roof. We have a house on Topsail Island that needed a new roof. I wanted to share the NC Rebuild company. The owner, Jason was very professional and honest as to when the roof would be scheduled and worked with me to get a roof on my house today before I suffered any further water damage inside.

3rd anniversary of horrendous experience. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! NC Rebuild installed a roof on my house in May 2015. In September 2015, while mowing my grass I stepped on a roofing nail that went through my shoe into my foot and caused a serious infection resulting in 4 doctor visits, 2 of which were to an orthopedist. I was almost admitted to the hospital for IV antibiotics.

I contacted Jason at NC Rebuild about this as he had promised me all the nails would be retrieved. He offered me a ridiculous explanation that he couldn't be responsible since there was no way of knowing if the nail was left while the old roof was being removed or the new one installed. I couldn't even respond to the ridiculousness of that since I couldn't fathom what difference that would make! Also, his crew left their trailer in my driveway overnight, and when they got it the next day, there were nails and roofing debris left in the driveway that I had to clean up. Also, I have since found another nail in my backyard. Jason said today that the nails might have been left when the original roof was installed 31 years ago.

Say what? When hurricane Matthew hit the NC coast, my roof ( remember it is brand spanking new) leaked leaving a stain on the ceiling in one of my bedrooms. Jason dismissed this as "it was a hurricane". Yes, it was, but not in Raleigh. The roof was supposedly repaired today. We'll see! He does not want to be responsible for repainting the ceiling, and basically kept cutting me off as I tried to talk to him.

He said he was having a bad day and that today was not the day to talk to him. He also said I had called him 3 times and that he was tired of it or something along those lines. Yes, I have called, trying to get things done. At this point, after being repeatedly dismissed, I lost my temper. Yep, I sure did. Deservedly so.

He began to work right away and when he was done, he even showed me before and after pictures of everything he did.
