NC Gutter Guys

NC Gutter Guys installed LeafGutter premium gutter guards on my home. Two years later, I noticed a problem. And since the guards had a "lifetime warranty" they came out and simply said "no clog." When the water was burning a hole through my roof, I knew it was a serious problem. The guards slip up under the roof shingles and despite the company's assurance that it was safe and that it wouldn't void the roof warranty, the guards caused massive damage to the roof. I've invested thousands and. and now I don't even have any guards.

When called the company on this problem, Tom Bell said he couldn't help mitigate the damages by just putting different guards up. I said I'd eat the roof replacement. He says that he is retired so I'm surprised that the company still has a website. If they are still in business, you might avoid them.

Thanks for explaining the difference in quality between your work and the corner-cutting that other companies engage in. That made the difference for us.

Yours was the lowest quote and also the best quote in terms of completeness and detail for replacing all of the fascia on my house. Thank you for fixing the overflowing gutters, and also for correcting the improper wiring in our electrical switch. Dead for a year, the exterior floodlight now works!

Tom has installed Klean gutter guards in both, the front and the back of the house. We have a bunch of trees around the house and were clogging the gutters every other month. The terrain is sloped and the back of the house is pretty high so we were being charged $100 to clean the gutters every time. We are so glad we decided to make the investment and install the gutter guards. No-clog guaranteed means no more worries about rotten fascia or siding due to the water overflowing. Tom and his crew are detail driven and will take the necessary time to make an excellent job. It's a pleasure to work with him and I recommend it to anyone looking to install gutter guards. We've got our gutter guards installed last week by Tom and his team. We didn't do a lot of research to find a gutter company: our neighbors had NC Gutter Guys installation and they were absolutely happy with the result. And what could be better them a neighbor's expirience and recommendation. There are a lot of trees, especially pines, on our backyard, the gutters clogged all the time, and we couldn't reach the higher sections of the gutters and hiring somebody each month to unclogg was way too much.

But we were not sure about the guards installation, i've seen a lot of reviews that if one has pines around, the guards would be also clogged with the straws. Tom explained us what different kinds of gutter guards there are on the market and which type would work even with pines. We also had a piece of gutter on the back side of the house that went unleveled and wasn't directing the water to the downspout and all the water was just waterfalling onto the house wall. Tom and his guys fixed this problem as well, leveling the gutter and installing a splashguard.

All the tome we were in contact and they gave us detailed explanations on things they are doing or planning to do. This team is very professional and I definitely recommend NC Gutter Guys to anyone who needs any gutter fix/update/guards.

I consulted with Tom to replace some siding on my house. He spent a lot of time telling me that the oak trees in my yard were sick. I consulted with a tree specialist and they were not. Anyways, Tom's guys did not even finish the job they were paid to do. Much of the caulking was not done and several lengths of siding actually fell off my house. Tom never verified the quality of work his guys did.

NC Gutter Guys have done a number of jobs for me over the years. I have originally posted this review a while back, and decided to update it now. It has all started with cleaning my gutters and installing the new gutter guards. But the scope of work that the company can do is much broader. The owner, Mr. Tom Bell, is a very thorough gentleman. In every case, I have received a detailed written estimate from him (by e-mail) explaining and pricing out all the various options and providing a professional advice about the performance of different products (such as different brands of gutter guards). In every case, the job was done on time, the cost was very reasonable, and I was fully satisfied with the quality. I would definitely recommend this company to everybody.

I know I didn't pick your Estimate for installing my new gutters, but 3 months have gone by and the contractor who did the work never calls me back to fix this overflow I'm getting. NC Gutter Guys replaced our old narrow worthless gutters with the right ones that were wider, deeper and stronger gutters. The work they did was professional, friendly, a great value, very competitively priced and on schedule.

Disappointed and Time Wasted Tom came to my house and gave me a quote. We had a mis communication in the price of adding Gutter Guards. Price he gave was in addition to not total price. That was cleared up, I had some basic questions regarding adding guards in the future. When I said I would like just to go with the offer he gave me for just the Gutters he withdrew his offer saying he didn't think I was comfortable going with him.

What I take from this is that he will offer the Gutters at a low price but if you don't take his extra add-ons he will not do the job. Don't waste your time there are plenty of other out there willing to do a good job.

I was delighted with NC Gutter Guys from start to finish. I received a timely response to my inquiry about an estimate, and the work was completed the next week. Tom stayed in contact with me throughout the process of determining when they could get to my project, as well as the day of. Some of the wood underneath needed to be replaced and they did an excellent job with that.

I am very happy about how nice the gutters look, and how well they were installed. All the materials were gone by the end of the day. I would definitely work with NC Gutter Guys again.
