Broadway Locksmith

Came in to get a new key using a specific type of Baldwin key blank that you can't get at a box hardware store. The guy behind the counter took care of me in less than 5 minutes. It's a little more spendy than going to Lowes, but it was worth it.

The guy who came was pleasant enough but he didn't do anything and they still charged me $97 for a "service call". It's not a service call if you don't provide any service! You're also 3 blocks from me. It took you all of 5 minutes to come over and 5 minutes to leave. I'm definitely not taking my business elsewhere.

If it's possible, this guy will get it done. I had a listing in Capitol Hill with a unique key that I needed a copy of for the lockbox, I already knew Home Depot, lowes, and the like wouldn't be able to help, I came across Broadway locksmith from a recommendation and he made the copy for me right away for $2.00. Highly recommended.

I have always had great success with Broadway Locksmith whenever I needed a door lockset replaced or an existing lock repaired. In the last year I have had two broken locks, each lock was ten to thirty years old, one lock was stuck and the other kept turning and turning. To my relief, Broadway Locksmith diagnosed the problem and got the locks working quickly.

They fixed a 60 year old ignition switch for my old Toyota. It takes skill to restore an old switch and they did it perfectly. Super happy with their work.

When the person arrived 45" late instead of "sorry I'm late" I got "where's the fire?" which seemed to express displeasure that I called after 15" and then the office after 30" when no one showed up and no one called to say the appointment would be late. Once arrived, quick and efficient. Just didn't need the rude vibe.

We called Broadway Locksmith to re-key the locks at our new place. They were right on time, professional, and the locks work beautifully. They were also able to retrofit a seized lock mechanism (Which we had missed during inspection) on the fly that enabled us to continue using existing hardware. We will be return customers! This place was recommended to me by Pacific Supply off 12th after trying to get a copy made of my '70 Honda scooter key. Which was the only copy I had at the time, and it was slightly bent. So, on its last leg for sure. When I got there, the gentlemen initially helping me at BL search extensively through their catalogs of key models to find it, but to no avail.

As I was about to leave the shop a gentlemen by the name of Robel walked in to behind the counter and ask the current clerk what the situation was. After inspecting the key, he had me write down my information and was going to contact me after he got home to look at old motorcycle key blanks he had in his collection, possibly make a copy with. Which was already going above and beyond to help me.

I was grateful and wrote my information before I began to shove off. As I was about to hop on my bike to leave, Robel ran out and stopped me, asked to wait a couple min. After a few trips of him coming in and out to inspect the bike's ignition with other key blanks, we found one that would work if he cut AND thinned out by machine. It was amazing to see this man work this level of magic.

I am truly grateful for Robel and the staff there to exist in this city and to have that level of expertise made available. To say they went above and beyond to help me out is a understatement. Go there for all your lock and key needs. Seriously, I doubt after this experience there isn't something in that field they can't handle.

I love having keys made at Broadway Locksmith because they always work! (Not like the big chain stores!) But today I locked myself out and they had someone to my house in 15 minutes, he was super professional and so helpful with tips to get my locks re-keyed! I highly recommend!

Today I brought in a lock that had stopped working. As I let the lock out of the bag Broadway Locksmiths were watching and one immediately remarked to the other: "Graphite falling out!" All the graphite was cleaned out and the lock oiled with the appropriate lock lubricating oil. The new key I had had made some time ago for this lock now worked perfectly again. Fast, helpful service and able to assist with our 120 year old door that had locked in a mysterious way. I called and he was here in about 20 minutes. When he arrived, he brought a set of antique keys/parts, just in case the issue was something that wasn't common these days. Sure appreciated the friendly, efficient service

A key machine inside 7-11 was able to do what these guys said wasn't possible. Plus, customer service was lacking, made me feel like I was inconveniencing him by being there. If you need a key made, just find a KeyMe kiosk. They are all over the city.

I was heading home from work and accidentally dropped my keys in the car while putting my dog in the car. I didn't realize that in doing so I had bumped the lock button while doing so. I knew as soon as I shut the door that I was in big trouble. I called Broadway Locksmith and they were able to head down immediately. It only took about 10 minutes or so for them to arrive.

They entered the garage that I was parked in and had me in my car in about 5 minutes. The locksmith (whose name I can't remember, unfortunately) was fast, friendly and courteous. I'm very happy with the experience and would most definitely hire them again. I highly recommend them.

The person who came and helped me after I realized I locked my keys inside was so helpful, friendly, and so incredibly fast at getting the door unlocked. I swear I blinked and he had already performed his magic and had the door open. Will definetly call again.

Fantastic! Wonderful owner, and wonderful staff. They will happily venture out of their service area (neighborhood) and come to you, no matter the time of day. They have very affordable rates. Was my mistake, but they were fabulous about it. They are never in a hurry. I cannot say enough good things about them.

All I needed was a new mailbox lock. I first called another place and they told me it would be a WEEK before someone could come out. So I then called Broadway Locksmith. And there was a gentleman at my place in less than 30 minutes. They might not always be able to be there that fast. but they were that day. Bjorne quickly replaced the lock. He was professional and personable. This will definitely be my "go to" place should I need any kind of new lock or am locked out. Will recommend to friends as well.

We had on old vending machine that had a missing key. They replaced it so easily and for much lower cost than other places. They are great!

Disappointed that they aren't able to fulfill what their website claims they can do, since I was told that I cannot get a car remote/FOB when I phoned them and said they can't do remotes. Website claim: "We have the ability to make remotes for many vehicles, even if you've lost the original remote." Otherwise they were polite on the phone and I imagine their services thst are available are great.

I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing services. They were a referral from another locksmith and came at a crazy time to help. I called Ken at an ungodly hour and he was there within 1 hr. He honored what he quoted me. Very friendly and professional. Let me know my options so I could make decisions easily. The hours said they were closed so don't be afraid to call someone might be up!;

Stopped in to get two extra keys made for my Buddy 125 (scooter). Whole process took ~5 minutes. Service was bomb. Even got a helpful reminder to check the keys before I left.

I called and spoke with Eric and we were able to get an appointment pretty quickly. The door we were working on is old and the parts aren't easily acquired, he assured me he had stock for them. Bjorn was our service provider, he was very knowledgeable and did quick work. I would have preferred if he would have not left metal scraps/shavings on the floor (from the deadbolt shaving) I would use them again, they were friendly and do good work.just have your shop vac ready;)

Hired to rekey my new house, and they were very accommodating and gave an accurate estimate upfront. Very friendly and professional, so much that my realtor will now be referring guys clients to here as well. I had an early appointment with them so I could fit movers in the same day, and he showed even earlier than expected, and was very professional about me still being in transit.

They close at 5:30 during the week and I rushed over to Broadway Locksmith after work to try and get an extra key made before they closed. I started walking up the steps at 5:27 and there was a guy in the entrance getting happy hour started early sipping a whiskey on the rocks. He asked how he could help me and I told him I needed a key copied. He walked to the back, took my key, made the copy and handed me both keys.

Total process took less than 1 minute and it came out to only a few bucks. Great customer service, great product at a reasonable, great experience. Would definitely recommend.

Every time I call them with a lock issue they always fix the problem. On my small jobs and my large ones thanks guys. I even went in there with a dna coded lock? and they referred me to a competitor who did the lock rather than trying to talk me into changing all the locks on site with one of there's.
