We are happy we chose VHR for our kitchen remodel. VHR was responsive, flexible and were able to accommodate last-minute changes. I cannot say enough about the workmanship and attention to detail by the crew. They kept all tidy work area after they left every day. We are excited to be in our new kitchen and will definitely reach out to Tom and his crew for future remodels.

I reached out to Tom Visionary Home Remodeling to update our Kitchen, Bathroom, Bedroom, Living Room, and electrical panel. There were some miscommunications in the beginning especially with the renderer. However, things improved once the project got underway. The foreman and his crew kept a clean workspace throughout and they finished in a really fast pace.

There were delays with some of the materials but that was out of their hands. Without the supply delays they would have finished weeks before the project end date. Overall, we are really happy with the work that they did and we love being in the new space. We are starting the next phase in our remodel in a couple months and we will happily using Tom and Visionary Home Remodeling again.

We decided to remodel our big old garage which we didn't used at all. It was a pretty big remodeling project so we wanted to do this right. We sent a quotes to several contractors, some of their answers were interesting and at the end we decided to go with Visionary Home Remodeling. They were available very soon and their offer was closest to our requests.

The project manager and his crew arrived promptly on agreed time and started to work on project. They worked every day really hard and managed to finish garage within 5 weeks, and that was great because we though it would take much longer. We got beautiful new garage, very functional and remodeled with high quality materials. Visionary Home Remodeling is really great company

We recently hired Visionary Home Remodeling to remodel our old kitchen. We didn't do anything with kitchen over a 10 years so now we decided to completely remodeled it and we wanted something special. We already seen work from this company on our friends house and he recommended this contractor. The price was fair, the whole crew was very professional and efficient. Called around to get my aunt's bathroom redone, and we came across Visionary. They came to her place and gave her a great quote and even suggested a few changes in what she wanted which worked out for her because she loved the new sink choice. Tiles were chosen to her liking as well. They did a great job and made it better than she envisioned. Thanks!

I don't usually write reviews, but I had to share my experience with you guys in installing my new roof. They say you cannot have all 3 at once: great quality service, a great price; and fast turn around, but that is exactly what we received from Visionary. I Like the fact that your company believe in taking good care of your customers. Our new roof looks fantastic.

Overall this is the best experience I have ever had with a construction related company. Not only does visionary know the best roofing materials and techniques, but they know how to best interact with average home owners like myself. There is no question I will be sending my friends and family to Visionary in the future!

I had bought a new house a few months ago and it needed remodeling. It was very outdated. I called this company and I'm so glad I did. They are very nice and professional. They really know what they are doing. They did an amazing job on my house. I love how everything turned out! It's so modern and it's exactly what I wanted. I am so happy we hired Gili and Visionary Home Remodeling to remodel our bathroom. We remodeled it a several years ago but it was a disaster, very bad work. This time we were very careful about a choosing a right contractor for that work. We got recommendation from our family friend so we contacted Visionary Home Remodeling. Visionary Home Remodeling recently remodeled our basement. We sent a quotes to 4 contractors and decided to go with this company and we are so glad about it because they did an excellent job. Tal was our project manager and he was perfect, he listened to us all the time, all our requests or questions. His crew was also great, they are hard and responsible workers.

Its been 7 years in my home and I want to modify the look of my house. I googled and found this company called Visionary Home Remodeling and based on the reviews they had I approached them and asked them to help me to remodel my house. They came up with a reasonable quote, did the job in the said time. They were very professional and the results were fantastic. I was highly impressed and would definitely recommend.

I had both my kitchen and bathroom done by visionary home, I called and scheduled an appointment they were very nice and listened to what I had in mind. The estimate they gave me was fair in my opinion, I showed them the ideas I had and they helped by adding in their opinions on what would work best and what was more fitting to the rooms. I'm very pleased and amazed at the work they did, I didn't recognize my kitchen or bathroom once it was done, they are beautiful. I highly recommend this company and will definitely be contracting them to do future renovations to my home.

Me and my husband finally purchased another house in the Bay Area! House on the outside? Looked so beautiful of course. Inside? Ehhhh. let's not bring that up lol but the master bathroom needed lots of help! Of course me being a "cheap" person I called around and around and got many quotes. Last week I called and Tom answered. He was really nice. I asked millions of questions and he had answer to every one.

He was really understanding about my budget because I literally just purchased this house, I don't want to go on a spree and spend lots on one bathroom. Next day a man came (sorry I forgot your name if you're reading this) but he took a look and explained what he can do to make it look way better! I was offered MANY varieties of designs. Me and my husband finally decided on a cute pattern that we both liked. They're still in the process of fixing everything up but I'll definitely post pictures after the bathroom is all cleaned up

I used Visuonary Home remodeling for my moms house and I have to say they did not disappoint! Their timeline was right on track. Their price was reasonable and their work is absolutely stunning. It's hard to trust people in your family home but these guys were polite and always on time and just put me at ease. I will definitely be recommending this company!

We do not recommend hiring Visionary Home Remodeling. Beware: We believe many reviews on Yelp/Google/Houzz to be fake. We hired them for a large project: a full home renovation with a small addition. We encountered many issues, incompetence, poor quality of work, unnecessary delays, substandard project management, and terrible communication. Eventually, we had to terminate their services and hire subcontractors to finish the job.

And we are still, several months later, dealing with issues stemming from improperly installed drywall, plumbing, electrical, and framing. To Tom's credit, he did not give up on the project and continued to fix the issues that came up, though oftentimes we had to argue and pull in experts in related fields to substantiate our view. In the long run it was little comfort. TIMELINE After contracting with Visionary Home Remodeling, we were given an estimated timeline of 4 months. Therefore, we moved out of our home in October 2017.

We were scheduled to return on March 1, 2018 (padding the timeline with another month). The lease ran out, and luckily we were able to extend through April 1st (now, over 5 months had passed). Tom assured us over and over again that we'd be ready to move in by April 1. When we moved in, there was no kitchen, partial electrical (only in two bedrooms/bathrooms), and almost no finish work completed.

We had to move into a hotel for a few weeks (Visionary reimbursed us). We then took a week vacation, and upon returning home, the house was still not suitable to live in. What we were assured would take weeks took an ADDITIONAL four months because the project managers assigned were not there to ensure the work continued. Which brings us to. QUALITY OF WORK Visionary and their workers do not seem to have the experience as others in the field; we would often see people using YouTube or Google to figure out how to do projects.

For example, our home needed to be painted multiple times because they did things in the wrong order and didn't allow underlying wood or drywall to acclimate and dry. It was clear that the crew (and foreman) hired to do the job were not equipped with the knowledge or skills to do the job effectively, their workmanship was poor and, in the end, cost both us and Visionary money to fix all of the mistakes. Tom, himself, did not understand many of the fundamentals of home building, often having to consult with his subcontractors on somewhat rudimentary topics (how to install floors, plumbing installations, etc.). Eventually, the foreman walked off the job, and was replaced by Tom's cousin, who seemed marginally more knowledgeable, and was a better communicator. Finally, we decided to take things into our own hands and created a punch-list of 253 items, organized by the type of subcontractor needed (plumber, electrician, etc) and the room in which it was needed to be done.

We thought this is normally the role of the General Contractor! At that point, Tom would only send a single person randomly two or three times a week to complete those, and we overheard one conversation he had in which the person hired was explaining his former experience - it made us realize he was just hired on the spot without background checks. Therefore, we removed Visionary and their subcontractors from our home on August 16th and hired subcontractors to complete the checklist. Tom assured us he would be very hands on with our project.

In the beginning, he was onsite a few times a week. We kept insisting Tom spend more time onsite to oversee the project, but he spent on average no more than an hour at our home per week. When we complained about issues he would simply say "but we passed inspection, so we're done." Passing inspection, in my mind, is delivering a minimally viable safe home to live in, not following our specifications in our plans for our remodel. There's a huge difference. Hire at your own risk!

So far, I had called them about an estimate for a bathroom remodel. I believe I spoke with Tom. I appreciate him asking me my budget, style, and focus. I called a few others and was being sold things I didn't care for. My wife and I haven't done a remodel, but with the estimate discussed, and answering my questions in to detail with Tom, he made me feel comfortable with his expertise. He sound like he knew what he was talking about. I recommend at least requesting a quote. Give small businesses a shot. Some are decent people.

It has been 2 months after our updated bathroom. My family loves the new bathroom sliding door. The sink and cabinet are placed perfectly in the room. Way better than what it was before! Tom and Guy were extremely helpful in the process. Thank you for setting it up for me!

Outstanding service, highly recommended. As a very busy individual I had looked for a company that could tell me what I need quickly and start also within a reasonable amount of time. Some companies offered lower prices yet couldn't start for months or had a portfolio of work that was quite simple. I don't have the time to plan everything on my own and put my trust into Visionary. 2 months later, upon completion, I could not be more satisfied!

Everyone in the office was a pleasure to work with, especially Tom the owner who is incredibly busy, and honestly sometimes hard to get a hold of, has a great staff. The reconfiguration of my kitchen and living room looks clean, contemporary, outstanding and can now comfortable host many guests. I've recommended Visionary to a few colleagues who purchased fixer-uppers whos projects are nearly complete. Looking forward to seeing their finished product. Worldly, creative team. It has been a pleasure working with Tom, Jake and crew on my kitchen remodel. Everything turned out beautifully just as I had envisioned. The quality of the cabinets are excellent, the workmanship was great and I would highly recommend Visionary Home Remodeling to everyone. In fact, I will probably have them do my bathroom remodel. Jake literally gave me my dream bathroom! My bathroom was outdated with terrible wallpaper not to mention forming mold. I had the entire room gutted and they started from scratch. I splurged and got a jet soaker tub, with a separate glass shower. The tiles in the shower are so immaculate, I was extremely impressed with the perfection of their work. My bathroom is now my serene get away!

Tom and Jake were a pleasure to work with on our bathroom remodel. They move quickly, hire great guys to work in your home, and are very accessible for any questions you have along the way. I really like how aware they are of making beautiful rooms but understanding budget constraints.

Great customer service! Jake and his team did a really good job with designing and building my bathroom. I had an issue with my bathroom for a long time with old tiles and etc and they did a wonderful job replacing them with new ones! Great company to hire when you have a bathroom to remodel.
