Michael McDonald General Contractor is a construction company specializing in residential remodels, additions, and new home construction. In 1980 I was asked to relocate from Big Bear to the Irvine area to remodel and add 5,000 square feet to the Racquet Club of Irvine. At that time I was working as a foundation and framing contractor.

During that period I began putting together a team of reliable employees and sub contractors. Many of them have been working with me for over 20 years. I am very loyal to my team, as they are to me. We take pride in our track record both on using the highest quality people and materials, offering them at competitive prices, along with our outstanding customer service and satisfaction.

I hired McDonald Construction as the General Contractor on the complete remodel of an old home we purchased to renovate and raise my children in for the next 20 years. Michael McDonald was very patience and helpful from the bidding process and then every step of the way there after. We are currently in the final stages of the remodel and I can't give him enough praise.

He is always a phone call away and is always on the job site for any questions or issues that may arise. His level of service, patience, and detail are to be striven for. Mike McDonald has done 3 separate remodel jobs on our home over the past 25 years. He is one of the most honest guys you will ever work with. Home remodels are always difficult but Mike keeps you and your wife calm as you go through the process. He works with some quality people.
