The other day I had some water damage in my attic. However, Drymaster came to my rescue then. They detected the problem of mold and handled the situation with utmost care. I didn't even have to worry about my insurance coverage as they handled it all. In the end they not only restored my property but cleaned it well after the work. I am very fortunate to have got my mold problem operated by them. Thank you for helping with my situation again!

Very good company and employees. Also on time and professional while dealing with your items. I had water emergency and they showed up quickly and ready to work. The technicians were friendly and were able to explain everything. Communication with the office was great and they were even able to work with my insurance company. With that said I would definitely recommend them for any water damage project.

It's Christmas eve at 7am and I look under my crawl space and find tons of water damage from a leaking pipe that had been leaking for months! I call drymaster at 745 am and Carlos picks up (I was expecting a voice machine) and he says " we will be there in an hour and a half" ON CHRISTMAS EVE. I was so pleasantly surprised and his crew and him were nothing but professional working right away to resolve the issue and dry out my crawl space. The fee was also reasonable for what they had to do. I will definitely use them again. Thanks Guys!

I appreciated how professional Eva and all the staff were from the ease of obtaining an estimate through the completion of the service. Eva confirmed the appointment day & time and communicated every step of the complicated process along the way. This was extremely helpful as the situation was problematic and time sensitive. Drymaster exceeded my expectations. I would recommend Drymaster for any mold remediation/water damage service you may need.

Louis was our main contact person and he was so easy to communicate with and available to answer any questions. He was organized, did what he said he was going to do and did it in the time frame he promised. There was excellent communication between Drymaster and the mold inspection company we also hired.

My tenant complained of visible mold in the bedroom and insisted on toxicity testing and mold remediation. The mold consisted of a small area (approx. a couple of inches) on the hardwood floor next to the bedroom wall and small mold specks on the windowsill, wall and baseboard underneath the bedroom window. The property is family-property, and there has never, ever, been mold anywhere in the house. Based upon their favorable yelp reviews, I requested Drymaster provide me with an estimate for mold remediation services, supplying them with an environmental report and recommendation from a 3rd party.
At the time, I also requested that they provide me with an estimate for restoration/repair work. I was provided only with the estimate for remediation, following an inspection by Luis. Luis was helpful, providing me with information about mold in older homes that are not insulated, as well as checking under the house for any hidden sources of moisture (such as standing water from the heavy rains). He, nor the hygienist, ever found any water, leak, or a definitive source for the moisture and Luis simply described it as mold likely due to "condensation." Drymaster was able to schedule the remediation quickly and finished the job early.
To say that the amount of wall removed (relative to the minor surfaces of visible mold) was a bit of a shock, would be an understatement; Drymaster also found no existing mold behind the wallboard. Finally, Luis explained that their restoration crew was unavailable until the following week, and my regular handyman was also unavailable. Since I needed to get the tenants back into the house and had an upcoming [unrelated] RSO housing inspection, I hired another contractor who was recommended.
They did a poor job, but explained that much of their difficulty lay in trying to do decent plaster work around the window framing, which was damaged by Drymaster. I more carefully examined the "after" photos Drymaster provided me with and discovered that the entire bottom portion of the original 1930s window framing had been sawed off. Luis explained that the worker who had performed the remediation work was either in-training or had recently completed training.
He had made a mistake, realized his error once it happened but never informed his manager or anyone at Drymaster. I was not provided an explanation as to why this new trainee was left unsupervised. I requested that Drymaster repair the damage and was handed off to Carlos, their restoration manager. Carlos then scheduled a sub-contractor who he described as a "Master Carpenter" to come by with a molding.
The sub-contractor came to the property and I requested my tenants face-time with me. The contractor was immediately combative, completely talking over me when I requested a closer look at the work, and reiterated several times via videochat that he was a "Master Carpenter." I explained that the molding did not match. He insisted that it did, offering an explanation of how it was temporarily positioned [via nails] as to why it did not align exactly.
I then requested while I was on the videochat, that my tenant show him another window so that the contractor could see what the molding is supposed to look like. He began a speech/history lesson about old houses so I then instructed my tenant to disconnect the call and informed them I would be contacting Carlos regarding the molding. The next report I received was from my tenants.
They said that the sub-contractor was "awful, " "the WORST guy, " and said that he finally acknowledged the molding did NOT match, and that he would need to create another one and come back. Prior to leaving, my tenant documented that the sub-contractor not only called me a "f***ing bitch" when I hung up the video chat, but also threatened me, saying a number of things he could not have known about me, had information not been passed onto him by Drymaster, such as "She's lucky she doesn't live down here, because you can bet I'd get MY money." My tenant then requested information to file a formal complaint against the sub-contractor, saying he was overtly angry, aggressive and "unsafe-feeling." I immediately informed Carlos of what had taken place, let him know the sub-contractor was NOT welcome to return and that before our next conversation, I would need to speak to my attorney. Carlos' entire tone changed immediately (he had previously been rude and rather dismissive of the issue) and he contacted me to say "My sincere apologies, I will not ever hire his services for any of my customers.
I will get the molding to match 100%.I'm deeply disturbed by his behavior. He is not an employee of ours. He is a handyman service that we hire. He came highly recommended to us." He offered a 20% discount on the mold remediation bill and to "drop off" another molding. They soon dropped off the molding (it is close but definitely not a 100% match) and sent me a revised invoice reflecting the discount. I paid it immediately.

I found Drymaster on Angie's List and would highly recommend them to anyone. I contacted several other companies and by the time the others called back (days later), Luis and his guys were already engaged. Luis was available and extremely responsive to all our questions. Very communicative! His team showed up multiple times even though we weren't ready. The service is impeccable and I would highly them to anyone who has a mold issue they need taken care of.

Called Dry Masters on a Sunday morning and left a message with the after hours service. I got a call back in about 10 minutes and the next morning at 9am Luis was at my door. He gave me a free estimate for what it turned out to be a broken pipe in the wall, that was creating a massive infestation in the laundry room. Luis was extremely professional and took his time to explain to me what needed to be done.
He emailed a written estimate in a few hours after he left. He then followed up with a phone call. Unfortunately, I didn't' get to use their services because my landlord decided to go with a friend of a friend for these repairs (who actually quoted the exact amount Luis did). I will always call these guys again in the future. I was very impressed with their professionalism.

We were referred to DryMaster from a big management company. They told us that Luis will not BS us and tell us the truth - if there is an issue he will resolve it quickly and efficiently and cost effectively. As importantly if there is no issue then he will not create one - we found those words to be very true

Carlos / Drymaster gets 10 Stars from me. The lower level of my condo was severely water damaged by a plumbing issue and subsequent mold contamination. Subsequently, cabinets needed to be removed, drywall, floors, etc. The situation was completely traumatic. Thanks to Yelpers, I found Carlos, Drymaster through another review for a mold inspector in which the Yelper used Carlos.

We live in an older condo complex in Santa Monica. Each time our building has issues with possible mold and moisture, we call upon DryMaster. They are professional and responsive to questions and concerns. Carlos is very knowledgeable and thorough in assessing any problems and providing practical and economical remedies. Luis is extremely conscientious and works tirelessly to make sure the job gets done correctly (even if it means spending an entire day battling the City of Santa Monica to make sure we get the right permits)! The people at DryMaster hold themselves up to a high standard of service, which is very much appreciated.

They had to open up walls that had water damage, and remove wood floors that also had water damage. Their prices were competitive, CARLOS AND SERGIOare very knowledgeable, and they don't exaggerateabout the issues. They talked toseveral owners, and made them feel comfortableby explaining what had to be done. We had 4 condos that had water damage due to a clogged main drain pipe.

A pipe burst in the wall of our house and water leaked into a bedroom. I got three estimates and Drymaster's price was very competitive and the scope of their remediation matched or exceeded the plans proposed by the other companies. In implementing the plan, their staff was professional, competent and efficient. Carlos was always prompt, responsive and clear in his explanations. I hope they stay in this business for a long time and recommend them highly.

Our tenants were concerned with an odor that they encountered after the rains a few weeks ago. I called Drymaster Restoration and Louis met with my husband and I as scheduled. I found him very informative and professional. He came into the house with his meters to detect any moisture in the walls or floor and assured us their was no moisture or any damage.
He then proceeded to go into the crawl space and saw that there was water stains on the wood. Based upon his recommendation we decided to have to all the wood treated to prevent any future molding. He advised us that he would be out the following Monday at 1pm and it would take about 3 hours to complete the job. Louis and his crew were on time, completed the job as scheduled and left the area where they were working impeccable. Drymaster Restoration you made our day and we will always use you for any future needs! Sincerely, The Flores

Drymaster was very professional in dealing with mold removal in a rental unit. There were various areas and they worked with the tenants in moving clothes and furniture so they could get the job done quickly. They worked diligently and got the job finished when they said they would, which made it easier to finish dry walling and repairs in a timely fashion.

Luis and his Drymaster Restoration team - I am speechless at their professionalism, efficiency, and scope of knowledge. I wish I would have thought to have them inspect my home prior to buying it! Though I haven't worked with any other mold specialists, I can imagine they're the best in the biz. Best of all, I know I can trust them - that's huge. You won't regret going with Drymaster.

Carlos and his crew recently completed a mold remediation project in my rental cottage under quite trying conditions. When he and his crew arrived to start the job and found that my tenant had left the affected area chock-a-block with her personal items and trash, Carlos saved me huge uptick in cost by instructing me in methods of packaging and documenting each section before during and after boxing the items found there, and then, he let me hire one of his crew to help me prep the site myself, returning later to start the project. When, the tenant threatened a lawsuit and the work had to be interrupted for days, Carlos remained flexible, calmly assuring me that he would work through this with me.
His crew even retrieved the material that they had removed and bagged for disposal (evidence), dropping it by the house without complaint for the extra work! Carlos is a knowledgeable, forthright young professional and he hires good people. I highly recommend Drymaster Restoration.
