This recommendation is based on an estimate only. Dyrayll (rhymes with "car-ellllllL" - don't be intimidated!) is a true pro. Since he's so busy, I had to wait a bit to schedule an estimate but once he was here he was able to come in look around at the rooms I want to do, and didn't even need to measure. He was in and out in fifteen minutes, in a good way.
He was a little early, super respectful of keeping distance and wearing a mask, and even removed his shoes for our shoe-free home. He was non-judgmental of our cluttered house. I appreciated his professional, kind demeanor. I can tell he's a real gem of a seasoned paint pro.

We hired Fresh Paint to tackle a huge project-8 unit apartment building. Their bid was less expensive the rest, they started early on the project, matched the requested paint color from a photograph perfectly, showed up on time each day and worked late. They were very professional, clean, friendly, flexible on minor changes and did a great job. Thanks!

Everything about Fresh Paint is professional and top rate. Our remodel contractor hired Fresh Paint to do all the interior painting for our home - a 2-story Craftsman. We came to know the painters well and to a person, they all cared about meeting a high quality standard, often seeing things that needed to be touched up that we couldn't see. They always cleaned up, showed up on time, and were easy to have around.
After the remodel was done, we reached out to Dyrayll for an estimate on doing the exterior of the house, including staining the deck and two gates. Because we were so pleased with them and knew we could count on the quality of the work and the paint, we hired them again. Not surprisingly, they took one week to do all the proper prep work, which was extensive. Dyrayll referred us to a color consultant (no charge) who worked with us to pick the colors for the house.
The painting was done in one week, just as he had estimated. We are thrilled with the results and with all aspects of working with Dyrayll and his team. The price was appropriate for the quality of the work. We would contract with them in the future for any painting work we had and would recommend them highly to anyone looking for a quality job.

I spent about five minutes trying to figure out how to spell Dyryll's (sp) name everytime I sent him an e-mail, but it was 100% worth the effort. Dyryll and his crew EXCEEDED my expectations for quality work, service, and professionalism. We hired Fresh Paint to paint our entire exterior and garage. It took my husband and I four months to decide on a paint and multiple trips by Dyryll to the paint store to read my husband and I's mind and pick the best paint.
Fresh Paint made repairs to dry rot, prepped the walls for painting, touched up the exterior, and made our house look completely new. Dyryll was very flexible and also gave us good tips on other improvements in our home. I absolutely love these guys and will be using them for the interior of our home.

I hired Fresh Paint to re-paint the exterior of my house and had a terrific experience. PROS: high quality paint job, lead paint encapsulation, no delay in scheduling, and a very good price. The company was super easy to work with and even threw in some upgrades at no charge. CONS: None. The overall experience was outstanding and I will hire them again.
I called Fresh Paint because I needed to have the exterior of my house painted, but I got a lot of more mileage from hiring this company since they also offer general contacting services. The owner, Randy, has painting and carpentry crews so in addition to the exterior paint job, Fresh Paint also fixed the flashing on my roof, replaced dry root wood on my dormer, and repaired a hole in a bedroom closet.
When the carpenters were here, I asked for a small fence to be erected in the side yard and they were very accommodating. It was a small extra charge to add the fence because it was outside of the scope of the original contract, but the price was very reasonable since the carpenters were already here. This was the advantage of working with Fresh Paint because they offer general contracting services.
If I had hired only a painting company, I would have had to manage two different companies and I think I would have paid a lot more. Picking Fresh Paint from the beginning was an easy choice. Before signing the contract with Fresh Paint, I got one other estimate from a painting company that was 40% more expensive than Fresh Paint, offered a smaller scope of work (Fresh Paint included carpentry work with their quote), AND the other company had a 4-week delay in starting.
Fresh Paint was the clear winner. I signed the contract with Fresh Paint to repaint the exterior on a Thursday and work was totally finished the following Wednesday. The new paint job looks wonderful. Even our neighbors have said how much better the house looks. I recommend Fresh Paint to anyone in Portland and am looking forward to my next home improvement project with them!

YES! Two thumbs way up for these guys. I can't believe nobody's reviewed them yet! Dyrayll and his crew are the only contractors that I've ever worked with who were reliable, on time, and extremely professional in every way possible. They painted both my living room and dining room, and I'm extremely happy with the quality of their work and service. I plan on using them for future projects, and am actually excited to be doing so.
