I was introduced to Austin Painting & Remodeling, when they repaired a broken roof rafter that was discovered during a home inspection related to the purchase of my home. I was so impressed with their work, that I contracted with them to remodel two bathrooms, garage, bar, and kitchen. I could show them photos of what I wanted built and they were able to exceed all of my expectations. They provide exceptional customer service, pay close attention to the details, and are very trustworthy!

Very poor work the quality I paid for was Horrible. Wish and hope you don't use this company. You will not be pleased at all paint splattered on my floors, toilet tub this is not a good pleasing thing. I had my wife hire I cleaning company and a different paint company. DONT HIRE!

After talking with several different contractors, I hired Austin Painting and Remodeling to paint the entire exterior of my Lost Creek home, remove the hot tub and rebuild the deck. My 1982 home is 100% cedar planks with 5 large decks. This was a big project! The rotten boards were all replaced, peeling paint was scraped and bare wood was primed.

We spoke to several contractors when we needed to have our kitchen remodeled. We decided to hire Austin Painting & Remodeling. We are glad we did! First, they took extra care to give us a precise cost estimate and finished the job ahead of their initial projection. We were impressed with their level of professionalism and attention to detail.

Austin Painting and Remodeling was completing some major work on a house down the street so I asked Carlos to come by and give me an estimate for a few small drywall repairs in different rooms. When the cabinets were late being delivered, he drove down the street to my home to let me know he would be running late and rescheduled our appointment.

Carlos has worked on different jobs for our family spanning two residences and many years. First, he did a kitchen, bath and foyer remodel at our home in the Hills of Lakeway. So detailed. Very attentive to what our expectations were and was really a great communicator of the process. Showed up every day.

Wish I could have found Carlos and his crew several years ago! You will not be disappointed by hiring AP&R for any remodeling or repairs you need. I was very impressed by how meticulously they kept the work area. They do their best to protect traffic areas to keep the mess to a minimum. These are true craftsmen who take pride in their work. They will not be the least expensive, but they also will not overcharge you. Carlos found many ways to keep the costs low without compromising quality.

They can do everything you need. We had them paint and repair the outside of our home, remodel our master bath, repair a ceiling in one of the upstairs bedrooms and, after Lowe's botched our front door installation, they fixed it and made it beautiful. Hire them! You won't be sorry.

Over the past three years Carlos has completed several painting and remodeling jobs for us. In each case he proved to be a true professional. He was very prompt in responding to our call, listened carefully to our description of the scope of work, provided us with an estimate within a day or two, and then followed through with work that was both thorough and of high quality.

Carlos and his team did an amazing job with our house. Even when we changed our mind a couple times they managed to make everything look perfect. Completely professional the whole time.

Carlos and his team did a great job with a list of painting, touch-up and repair items that I needed done on my house. I really was pleased with their attention to detail and with Carlos's professional and prompt communications. I received Carlos' name from a friend he has done a lot of work for. I needed built in cabinets, cabinet demo, painting, and wood floor repair. You cannot tell where the cabinets were that he removed and the wood floor is spot on. The built in cabinets are fantastic! Exactly what I wanted and look better than I imagined! Carlos also painted our kitchen.

He took off all the doors and hardware, and sanded them inside and out. The kitchen looks like new! I couldn't be happier with the work they did! He is very meticulous and the pride in his work shows. He wants to make his customers happy. I have him coming back to do some more work next week. Thanks Carlos!

Unreliable and unprofessional! I chose Austin Painting & Remodeling after reading the many positive reviews on google. At first, it took several attempts of trying to get ahold of Carlos to arrange a meeting, but I thought it would be worth it b/c of the reviews. Then when we finally met, Carlos reviewed the things we needed remodeled and placed a bid that we agreed on and we set up a date for him to start and complete the project. Well, it never happened because he never showed up nor called with an explanation.

I tried calling him and could never get ahold of him. I am completely disgusted by this, but in a way relieved since he didn't touch my house b/c he could have left it worse.

Austin Painting & Remodeling is WONDERFUL! I have have lived in many places in Austin and have personally had 2 brand new homes built. Carlos did a downstairs remodel; removed old carpeting, installed new bamboo flooring, painted wood paneling, repainted all the rooms/trim, added a door with a deck, removed an old bar and put in a mini kitchen. Carlos and his team did an incredible job. Carlos gave us an estimate which was appropriate for the job and executed the job wonderfully. I also would like to mention one of Carlos's teammates; Javier he is an exceptional team member, he and Carlos worked long hours to make all this happen. Thank you!

Carlos and his crew painted the interior of my home. His crews worked hard and cleaned up each day. I appreciate the professionalism of a company that treats my home with care. You can tell that Carlos does the work himself and not subs out to painting crews. I will use Carlos again when I paint the outside of my home and refer him to others. I received other estimates and Carlos was not the lowest bid but I decided to hire him based on the feeling I got as we discussed the details of the job and the ideas he shared. Carlos was worth the extra investment in my home.

I spoke to Carlos on a Thursday morning, requesting a quote for converting my formal living room to a study. This included framing, drywall, floating the walls, textureing and painting the walls, baseboards, crown molding, tiles, and french doors. We also asked that they paint one of our bedrooms. He came out that day, gave me a great quote, and was able to start work the following Tuesday.

It took him and his team 4.5 days to complete the job, and the quality is FANTASTIC. It is literally impossible to tell the difference between the original walls and the work they did. They perfectly matched the paint, texturing, and crown molding. Their attention to detail was phenomenal. I was very impressed with how polite they all were, and how clean they left the work site each evening. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who needs work at their home.
