I've used Chicago Painters 3 times now and will never use anyone else to paint the inside of my place while in Chicago. They are quick, friendly, on time, and priced appropriately. Always a great experience! Thank you again!

All around a fantastic experience. Everyone I interacted with was extremely professional. I painted the first 2 rooms in my condo and decided I did not want to do anymore. They came in and did a spectacular job on the rest of my unit. They patched and sanded the drywall so well the place looks brand new. If I ever decide to repaint or move, they will be my first call.

Great experience with Chicago Painters! Came to my home for a quote, gave me 2 quotes depending on how much of the apartment I wanted painted. At first I told them I only wanted half the apartment done, then a few days before they were supposed to come to paint I changed my mind and decided to have the whole apartment painted. They had no problem with the last minute change and did an amazing job. Highly recommend!

We were looking for painters to come in and do several rooms in our new house before we moved in. We couldn't be happier that we chose Chicago Painters for this job. Martin and his partner completed the job in the timeframe we were given. The place looks great, and the team was so friendly. Martin walked us through each room as it was finished. One room in particular was very challenging with 3 colors, a vaulted ceiling, and an unusual architectural feature. I know it was challenging, but they managed it like it was a piece of cake. Highly recommend if you're looking for quality work and a personable team.

Very professional. Oscar and crew worked for two days repairing and painting my first floor. The process of booking the team was smoothless. They came out for an in-person assessment and within a week they started the job.

Chicago Painters did a fantastic job on my 2 bedroom Lakeview condo. They were prompt, super clean, and very fast. Cheryl in the office is a pleasure to work with and was very communicative and responsive when I had questions. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

Chicago Painters did a great job painting the entire interior of our new house. I'd used them once before back in 2012 for a paint job and hardwood floor install, and my experience was just as good this time around. As you may know, it's a challenging time to line up contractors right now, with folks seemingly booked out forever. I reached out to 6 different painting vendors for quotes and only Chicago Painters and one other company even responded and agreed to quote the job for completion in calendar 2021.

They came out two days later for a walk-through, their quote was competitively priced, and given that I 'd had a good experience with them previously, we booked the job. Glad we did! Oscar, our lead painter, and his crew were fantastic. They worked efficiently, and the quality of their work was excellent. Clean lines and attention to detail was on point. Our place looks great, and now we can really settle in and start enjoying our new home! Thanks Jim, Cheryl, and Oscar!

Sub par. Had to call them back to fix spots where they just didn't bother to put 2 coats on and bad streaks were showing. Paint is now on all sorts of stuff - doors, floors, railings. I asked if they would remove everything from walls or if I should. They assured me they would take it all down and return it - false. They just freehand painted around stuff so now it can never change. Noticeable crack didn't get repaired.

The stuff they did remove from the wall no longer has the hardware so I'm replacing that. Pictures speak for themselves (photos are AFTER they came back to fix stuff). Photo 1 - oops, wall paint on the ceiling.twice Photo 2 - oops, paint on the window Photo 3 - a "repair" (do yourself a favor and patch the wall yourself. Using toothpaste would have come out smoother.

When we complained they said the drips were already there and tried to convince me it's impossible to have drips if you paint with a paint brush. spoiler: they weren't and it is possible) Photo 8 - just didn't bother to repair it

I strongly recommend avoiding this company at all costs. Don't trust the other reviews. Below is just a high-level list of the issues we had with Chicago Painters Inc: 1. Used wrong paint; we requested a paint match with semi-gloss and the paint used was satin. 2. Shoddy work -- paint stains all over the house on newly finished floors. Per our floor person, he had never seen a "sloppier" paint job in his career.

Other contractors that have been to our home have all agreed with this assessment. 3. Damaged light fixture when removing wallpaper -- had to pay for replacement. 4. Damaged closet doors in three rooms -- had to pay for repair. 5. Terrible customer service -- denied responsibility for all of the issues. All in all, it will cost us in excess of 5K to correct all of the mistakes and we wish we didn't make the error of going the "affordable" route when choosing a paint company. This company's prices are cheap for a reason; they cut corners and do cheap work.

Short review: I needed my walls painted. Chicago Painters painted my walls. Five stars. Long review: this was a pre-move paint for a new purchase and my first time hiring painters instead of DIY. Chicago Painters was available four days earlier than originally booked (yay!), was able to get me an insurance certificate for my HOA, handled my high ceilings with ease, and fixed some damage that the previous owner left when they moved out. Ricardo and Daniel have my walls looking great, Jim was a pleasure to work with, and Cheryl kept everything going like a pro (I must have spoken with her a dozen times over the course of the job and she was unfailingly kind).

The painters were upfront about the colors that I was using and a couple needed more coats than quoted to look right. Even so, the job finished on time with no real surprises. I hope that I don't need painters anytime soon, but if I did I would book with this company.

Just finished having a large portion of our condo painted, and it was a great experience working with Chicago Painters. My husband and I had so much back and forth about where to paint, what colors to use, etc and they were so patient with us, just wanting to make sure we were happy with how everything looked at the end of the day. Jim and Cheryl were very responsive and helpful in answering questions, and the team that did our painting was fantastic. They were incredibly nice and easy to work with, and we have zero complaints about the job they did. Our place looks amazing.

Good paint job! But the touch up guarantee will not be honored per the website. I requested it twice and the company would commit to sending someone out but then painters would not show. I'd say that they're good for the initial paint job but do not rely on the touch up guarantee on their website. They will not respond or if they do they will not show when scheduled.

We were delighted with our experience with Chicago Painters. Jim and Cheryl kept in constant contact with us through the process to make sure that the job was being done to our specifications. Their estimator provided us with a competitive quote the same day he came out to look at the house. The painter Vlad was professional and personable. Not only do our ceilings, trim, and walls look beautiful, but Vlad cleaned up everything after he was done. We will definitely be using them in the future as we continue to do work on our house. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Sure the reviews are great on Yelp, but I guess I would never find out how great they are since they never got back to me. I selected the request a quote option on Yelp and someone messaged me back right away and directed me to fill out an online estimate form on their website. Awesome right? Took my time to fill out the whole form and uploaded pictures of work I needed done only to never hear back weeks later. Guess I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I have used Chicago painters for 3 separate home painting projects and have always been very pleased with the experience and the results. They are willing to take on all projects from single room to whole house and they provide accurate quote very quickly. The team is very responsive, genuinely seeks to understand the details of the job and I could not be more pleased with the results. For my future projects, Chicago Painters will be my first call.

Chicago Painters is an awesome company to work with. Their painters, flooring and wallpaper installers always showed up when scheduled. And all of the employees did fantastic jobs. Our painters Nick and Mike were wonderful to work with. I had a lot of wall repairs that needed to be done prior to painting and you would never know the condition of my walls and ceilings now. Everything turned out amazing. Cheryl in the office made scheduling very easy and was always readily available for any questions. I highly recommend this company.

After buying a new condo we needed a painting firm to come in at short notice & paint 4 rooms for us. We had a quite from a contracting firm which we thought was outrageously high, so we reached out the Chicago Painters inc. One week later, our 4 rooms have been expertly painted & we've lined them up for a second job in our house. The initial quote process was quick & seamless.

The team then were onsite within 4 days & they did an expert job at painting our rooms inside of 2 days. Couldn't be happier & the cost is extremely competitive. Less than 50% of our other quote (which, indeed turned out to be extortionate). 5/5 would & will be using again

You guys did a great job, I must admit I was a bit worried about the new carpet I put in, but you covered everything with plastic so no spills would ruin the carpet. The paint work was excellent!
