The exterior of our house was painted. The painting was done with careful attention to detail. But in house painting, the prep is more important than the actual painting. If you don't scrape properly, then the new paint will just adhere to the old flaking paint and you'll be repainting lots sooner than you planned. The team did a great prep job.
We opted for a somewhat more expensive paint (Sherwin Williams Duration) which we've used previously and is an excellent paint. It should make the paint job less costly in the long run as it should last longer. I recommend this team highly.

I could not be happier with the professionalism and quality of the entire Third Gen Team and the deck they built for me. I had a deck that was rotting and the ledger board was pulling away from the house. I was concerned about the structural safety of the house. Alex, the sales rep, was entirely up front and honest. I initially gave him a budget for my deck.
He then provided the choices for that budget. He did not try and "upsell" me to try and get me to buy more expensive materials. I finally had to talk him into letting me upgrade some options I wanted and assure him that I really wanted to buy a few more options than the initial number I provided! The build team was outstanding. It was clear that they took a lot of price in the high quality work they wanted to provide for the customer and also to ensure that the Third Gen company final deck product ensured that the final product was top quality. Thanks to the Third Gen Team for the outstanding service and final deck product! You could not do better than this company for building a deck.

They did a full basement remodel and We could not be happier. I was given a an amazing quote and a time line for the project. With any job there was stuff that needed to be fixed but was still barely over budget. Matt worked with me to keep us in budget which was amazing customer service as well. He kept me informed of issues and addressed issues I had immediately.
The whole crew was amazing, we love Terry from Wolfe plumbing, he is an awesome person and outstanding in is craft. Thank you to the whole 3rd Gen crew, we highly recommend and we will be using them for our bathroom remodel.

We had our upstairs hallway, bedrooms, and bathroom repainted and everything looks great. The painters were diligent and efficient with their time. So glad communication was not an issue and getting a quote and scheduling was easy. When we’re ready to do the downstairs and trim, we will be definitely be contacting them.

Andre and his team were outstanding to work with. Starting with the initial consultation, I was amazed at how they viewed the project as not just changing the paint color of my house, but making an investment in protecting my house. They looked at things other contractors did not, and were with us every step of the way choosing paint colors. The crew was extremely professional and easy to work with, and friendly with my kids who had a lot of questions for them!
They cleaned up the work space every day, and in 4 very smooth days, transformed the look of our entire house. One thing that sets 3rd Gen apart from other contractors is the warranty - 7 years, when others were only offering 3-5 years. Couldn't be happier with their work, and I look forward to working with them again in the future.

Very good experience with 3rd Gen with painting our tudor-style home. Initally, Andre came out and did a very thorough inspection and discussed various options. Estimate seemed reasonable and on par with other local companies. Despite challenging weather and working around a holiday week/weekend, the crews were great. Very friendly, kept the yard and plants clean and cleaned up every evening.
They found some water damage to a portion of stucco and did a fantastic job removing and replacing it to blend in perfectly. Also, did a great job painting the wood trim, exterior walls and soffits/fascia. The final product came out just as we hoped.

We had the best experience with Third Generation Painting & Remodeling. We live in an 1850's Victorian home and were careful in choosing someone to repaint and repair the exterior in order to preserve the historic nature of our home while giving it a much-needed update. Andre and his team were so professional and efficient. Andre is extremely communicative and kept us updated on each stage of the process. 3rd generation knocked on my door and I was initially very put off, but I am very happy I listened to their salesman. The customer service was great. I've dealt with many contractors in my time as a home owner and this was the most professional. I contacted 3rd Gen Painters this week to see if there was any chance they would be able to paint a few rooms in my home and restain my deck before a big family party this weekend. I needed someone last minute as the contractors I originally had scheduled cancelled on me last minute. It was ALOT to ask but I am thrilled that 3rd Gen not only was able to come out for an estimate the next day but just finished the work ahead of schedule this afternoon!
I know they are usually booked but they were still able to SOMEHOW fit my job in and did a fantastic job as well! Andre and his crews were super professional, did great work and somehow still finished ahead of schedule. When looking for a reputable contractor, at times it is difficult to determine which ones will have integrity and which ones will just feed you a bunch of empty promises.
