Findlay Roofing was referred to me by a handyman who had done work for me in the past. I was not disappointed. They came immediately and checked my roof for damage and said they would send me a detailed estimate the next day. I was impressed with their professionalism and also their promptness in working with my insurance company. During installation the lead person kept me informed of what they were doing.

Absolutely 100% would recommend! The entire process was completely smooth, painless, and quick. After having a terrible experience with Roof It Forward roofing company, Findlay was a breath of fresh air. They provided updates and information on everything, every step of the way. The entire process took two weeks from the initial quote to the completion of my new roof.

They installed a tarp the day after the initial estimate appointment to protect the badly damaged areas from getting worse and the roof replacement only took one day. I had spoken with Ricky, and he had Shane come out within the week to be scheduled and come look at my roof. He was professional and honest of what worked that needed to be done. I had a patch needing to be replaced, Michael came out the next week to replace the area. They repaired the area with in 2hrs and cleaned up up all the materials. After visiting to provide an estimate OVER 2 MONTHS AGO. both my wife and I and our insurance company. which has approved our claim. have called and emailed several times. Not a single response. We would have at very least expected a courtesy "we're too busy right now" or "we don't want your business. This could have saved valuable time. Yet.here we are. Moving on.

We had a roof replacement done 1 week ago. Everyone was very professional. They arrived on time with 16 workers. They finished our roof in 7 hours. Good quality work. It looks AMAZING. I LOVE how they made sure everything was done on time from delivery of the materials to delivery of the dumpster, workers arriving on time, cleaning as they worked and a full clean-up on completion. The supervisor stayed on site the entire time and explained everything that was happening. Findlay is a great choice for roof replacement. You won't be disappointed.

I had a very minor situation with my furnace vent that needed attention so I called Findlay, whom I've used in the past with great success, and they provided very timely assistance with an appointment in only 2 days. Shane Dawson came out to help assess the situation and check my roof for any other damage. He fixed the issue very quickly and provided an honest assessment of my roof overall, which doesn't require any work and should not for 10 years. I am very pleased with the windows installed an services provided by Findlay Roofing. I decided to go with Findlay due to an in-depth and simple to understand consultation provided by Jason Nichols. I did learn quite a bit about what to look out for to make best use of this over $20K investment. The Simonton windows they installed were exactly what I was looking for and quite cost effective.

Findlay Roofing has the finest crews around. Their crews worked to try to complete the job in one day. They worked till dark. Their foreman was very attentive to the quality of the materials that was installed on the roof. With this he found 3 bundles of shingles that were bad and the crew was not able to complete the roof in one day. But the foreman came back the next morning to finish and double check his crews work.

I can't say how impressed I was with the crew Findlay Roofing hired. I feel you would be making a mistake if you did not hire Finlay Roofing to do your roofing project. I wish They would expand to do minor carpentry repair work like I needed with some siding. Please keep up the great work and Kudos to Elvis.

Two years ago, through the recommendation from my next-door neighbor, I hired Findlay Roofing to replace the serious leaking roofing of my house. I found them very professional, excellent quality, and offered the best value and price of all the quotes I sought, especially their 10-year no leak warranty with no additional cost to the customer. Two months ago, I used Findlay Roofing again to replace the damaged roof for one of my favorite professors.

From start to finish it was an exceptional experience with Findlay roofing. Everyone involved was professional, prompt and did exactly as promised. A special shout out to Holly. Frankly, although everyone was great from sales, through installation, Holly is simply exceptional, and closed the deal. I can't say enough great things about her. She really helped me through the whole process. Even whilst on vacation she took time out to follow-up with me. I had used Findlay years ago to fix a leaky roof. Other companies couldn't get it right. Although Findlays cost a little more; they fixed it right the first time. Never had a problem since they fixed my roof many years ago. I am confident I won't have any problems with my current gutter installation either.

I had a complex roof replacement that I believe only Findlay Roofing could have managed. After many bids, Findlay was not the cheapest nor the most expensive, but I chose them in the end because of their reputation, constant communication and subtle adjustments to my contract in order to make it perfect. Communication was exceptional, from the initial inspection to the daily installation.

I had over 90 sheets of decking replaced, as well as the roof, and their large crew did everything in one day. There were logistics problems getting the amount of plywood (which is difficult to get) from a third party vendor, but this was beyond Findlay's control and not their fault. Findlay was in daily contact until everything was ready and delivered before installation.

Everything was well coordinated on the day of installation, but I admit, sometimes, there may be more of an effort to complete the job quickly, than there is to detail. I noticed things they had forgotten to install (drip edge across the front of my house) that was promptly added after I pointed it out. So if you are able, I would recommend inspection as the job is in progress.

A day later, I noticed broken molding that I will need to fix. Everything, including all shrubbery was well covered around the entire house and cleanup was fantastic. Not a speck of material or nail left anywhere. If you are like me, this is a significant investment, in some cases, an over extension of funds, and if I had to do it again, I would still use Findlay. The company is well organized and the process flowed smoothly. I wanted a company that stood behind their reputation and I found that through Findlay. Roof looks great!

Not real estate transaction friendly when it comes to conducting inspections and providing estimates. Requires too much information on the Seller's information which is not typical nor is it always available to the buyers agent in a real estate transaction.

I really don't care for our roof that Marietta Findley Roof applied. In picking colors we were given several addresses to look at roofs they had applied. I kept saying the same thing at each roof. They are not as architecturally appealing as our 20 yr old roof. My Husband repeated this several times to our salesman. He was told this was the roof that they do and top of the line shingles.

After our roof was applied, I find out now that Owens Corning does have probably what I wanted. Guess what.it was on back order. The wait and these shingles were not offered. This roof was about the sale and not the Customer. That's what makes a good company, even if it results in the loss of a sale. If the Customer is happy, they tell lots of people.

If the Customer is not, they tell even more. If Marietta Findley Roof doesn't totally have what you want, move on. This roof will be what you look at for many years and LOTS of your hard earned money. Curb appeal and being proud of your home each time you look at it, , is really important. I feel they should reapply the roof I would have chosen, paying only the difference in the cost of the shingles that I would have paid for in the first place. It was not my fault that this sale was more important than the Customer.

I had a water issue in my commercial building that I presumed was associated with the roof. Findlay sent their representative Mark Deraney out to give me a repair estimate. It turns out my problem was not a roof problem at all! Mark told me how to determine the source of the water and spent time that he knew was not going to lead to a roofing job.

Talk about putting the customer first! Mark showed up 10 minutes early, was extremely professional and knowledgeable. When he needed more information, Findlay roofing had plenty of expertise "on staff" for Mark to call on. Based on this experience, I would recommend Fiindlay if you ever have roof problems.

Good Experience. Fast & Professional. Shane came out and walked my roof. He showed me photos of the small area of missing shingles that was causing a leak. I asked a lot of questions to avoid any confusion or surprises. The following week it was fixed while I was home. He showed me the quoted shingles and said they wouldn't match exactly but I could get the more expensive ones that would match better.

He said it was not in a visible location so I went with the standard ones. (which actually match pretty well). At my request, he texted me photos of the repair which I'll keep with my house records. The repair price was reasonable. I've uploaded Before & After Photos. 2 Thumbs Up

I was paralyzed in selecting a roofer because so many of the larger roofers had horror stories in the reviews. I wanted a company that was big enough and around long enough to be around to fix things if I got a leak, yet still was highly responsive and took pride in delivering what they promised. Findlay delivered all that and more. After reading reviews for weeks, I had a list of 5 roofers that had A+ BBB ratings, and had been around for 9-34 years.

According to the BBB, Findlay was founded, and has been accredited, since 2/9/1999. All 5 companies had good reviews and all looked at the job and gave me quotes. Alex, the sales rep, couldn't have been more responsive, but also never gave me any pressure. He answered all questions, and worked within the insurance settlement terms. What really put them over the top is that Findlay is a rare Platinum-level installer with Owens Corning.

That means that, if you use the required O.C. components (and you would if you were replacing the entire roof), then not only do you get a 50-year no-leak warranty from Findlay, but you get the Platinum Protection lifetime warranty backed by Owens Corning themselves. In rough terms, after the first 2 years, if Findlay doesn't make it right, O.C. will.

Many warranties start pro-rating their coverage immediately; but this warranty doesn't start to pro-rate the shingles for 50 years, and the labor for 25. That's tremendous peace of mind. The rest was execution: I have a big roof, and they brought in a big crew that did the whole job in a day, and left the yard immaculate. When I later looked at the work, I had been concerned that they hadn't step-flashed along the walls.

They brought in a quality control person the next day to examine the job and fix anything that wasn't done right. Not only did he find that the crew had flashed under the stucco (even better than step-flashing), but he took photos of the flashing along all walls and the chimney, and the new plumbing boots - all things I couldn't check from the ground. Their accounts receivable people couldn't have been more accommodating, and allowed me to pay online with a credit card, for no fee.

This was a tough experience. Lot's went wrong, Shane did stick with me through out. In the end I was happy with the results. Ask lots of questions to be sure u understand the pricing.

This process was a breeze. Our roof did not have damage showing but it was 30 years old. Findlay gave us a competitive price so we went with them because of their reputation. We were not disappointed. They kept us up to date on everything with calls and texts. The crew arrived early and finished in one day. When they were finished they cleaned up so that it looked like they were never here. Turns out they did have to replace 5 sheets of roofing that had damage we did not know about. All in all a great experience.

The request was made on Wednesday 10/08/2020 to receive an estimate for roof and gutter replacement, within few hours we received a call from the sales rep, and waiting for the quote to be sent, we will update our review as we go through the process.

The installers were great. They arrived on time and were very professional. They kept us informed and consulted with us before doing any necessary repairs. Made us feel we were in control even though they are the experts :- The gutters look great! I love the way my house looks. Findlay installed a new roof 10 years ago. In the past 3 years there have been 4 leaks. For a recent leak, I was quoted $650 to seal shingle joints in a 6 x 6 foot area. I was under the impression that shingles were to be replaced and specifically discussed with the representative what type of shingles would be used. The actual work was to silicone the shingle joints that took less than an hour and no other materials were used.

This pricing structure is outrageous. Other complany indicated that for the work described he would have charged $250. That weekend I discovered another significant leak, but due to this experience will never use Findlay again.

I have to write this review because I was so appreciative of the repair work done by quality control supervisor, Ricky. He is honest, polite and so professional in handling the warranty repair. What he did helps his company to keep current customers as well as their good reputation. I had made several repair request. Previous repairs are done very well. Jerry who normally handles repair calls are extremely nice, and the lady who answered the phone is equally pleasant to talk to. Bottom line is that this company keeps their promise and honor the warranty as customers expect.

Findlay Roofing replaced our roof on April 10, 2020. A crew of about 7 - none of whom were English-proficient unless there was someone who remained uncommunicative - began work without even knocking on the door to alert us to their presence. During the entire day, only one worker communicated with us (twice) and only via gestures - once to plug in a heavy-duty extension cord inside the house and once to unplug it.

There was no on-site supervisor, before, during, or after the job, that was identified as such. There was no final walk-through with us as stated in the contract; in fact, the crew left without even letting us know they were leaving. For days afterward, and as late as May 25, we were finding loose nails and tarpaper in our yard. A piece of tarpaper was also found behind our cooktop vent.

We found bags of nails in the attic vent after their departure. This carelessness with debris does not bode well in a household with animals (which they could not have failed to be aware of) and a residential neighborhood with a fair number of children, especially for a company whose website boasts, "We protect your yard, and your family, as if it were our own." Debris is possibly the cause too of some bumps under the new shingles.

We had to call and request an inspection after the job was completed. Our concern about debris in the yard was addressed only by the inspector removing some of the debris from underneath the gutter; he also repaired one of the loose gutters. He did not issue an apology (which would have gone a long way toward good will) nor even exhibit surprise. Payment status is not an issue; we paid for the job in full 4 days after it was completed, per their invoice sent to us via e-mail on April 10 stating they require payment in full upon completion.

The only reason it wasn't paid ON April 10 is because the day before, they called to move the project up a week and we had not moved the funds yet. Our questions and concerns could have been addressed had there been project supervision (English-speaking), had someone contacted us as a follow-up courtesy, or had we been treated more respectfully afterward.

We wrote a letter to the owner, Mr. Steve Findlay, on May 4, listing our concerns. As of this date, June 2, that letter has not been answered nor have we been contacted in any way by anyone about it. Findlay's advertising brags of its customer service and reputation. In an e-mail requesting we review their company and the job on our house, we find the comment that "customer satisfaction is our number one priority." We have found their inflated claims to be sorely inaccurate in our case and would never refer them to anyone we know. They also said in the e-mail that our review "would mean the world" to them. So here is our review.

Had numerous roof leaks for years had all kinds of people rip me off because I have a patio for the rooftop where builder did not install membrane under the tile. Finlay came removed slate tile, removed plywood and redid my entire roof and patio so professionally. No dirt left they had to removing the metal railing all that was done they got there on time work fast they never even came in house to use bathroom they were great best contractors I had do work in my home so happy money well spent with guarantees. So happy so dry no more leaks wished I had them years ago my house had been leaking off and on for ten years Finlay is the best

We had someone come out to give an estimate on repairing a roof leak, and he was so rushed from the time he entered the door that he was basically out of breath walking through the house. He took a 10 second look at the leak, then hurriedly looked at it from the roof. His entire visit was 8 minutes long tops, and then he quoted us $650 just to fix one small roof leak, including us providing the shingles!

He couldn't provide a breakdown of the quote and when we said it sounded way too high, he sent a sarcastic and short response. And the $650 didn't include more work that would probably need to be done once they opened it up and got a better look at the attic. Sorry, but $650 for maybe $50 in materials and 2-3 hours of work, and rude/rushed service just doesn't cut it for me.

Did not show for appointment. Really disappointed. I don't understand why they spend so much on advertising when they don't want to sell jobs.

I don't typically write reviews but seeing as I just feel like I have been waiting and waiting to hear things back from someone who works at Findlay, I'd say I've become impatient and will now be taking my business elsewhere. I had a quote done a little before Thanksgiving and received a quote on the 26th. After requesting a little more information on the 30th with no response I decided to follow back up coming into the New Year on the 4th after all the holiday craziness was done.

I received word that I would be getting an updated quote with the other things I had requested ASAP. It is now January 18th with no update and another follow-up on my end will still no response.

My house had two leaking spots on the roof caused by the tree branches over the year. In the past few months, we got six trees cut down. Hubby called Findlay Roofing due to Clark Howard's recommendation on WSB Radio. Thomas and "Larry" came out to check out the roof. Close to an hour later. Thomas ordered "Larry" to go on top of the roof to see what was going on and said it would be $985 to fix the leaking roof where the master bedroom was located.

The gutters would be removed and he would get the other guys who work with Findlay Roofing to come out and do an estimate. "Larry" did not speak at all and is Latino. He did all the work while Thomas did the paperwork. Thomas scheduled the gutter guys to come out the following week. He said it should only cost between $200-300. A few days later, it rained.

The leak in the master bedroom was fixed. However, we still had a leak in the bathroom connecting the master bedroom. Thomas and "Larry" came out to fix it and put tar on top to stop it. However, with the massive rain the following days, it was still leaking.bad Hubby called Thomas back again and Thomas said they did their best and we needed to replace our pipe and that would be another $700.

He kept saying he did fix the leak in the master bedroom. Well, technically, "Larry" did. When it was finally sunny, hubby went on top of the roof to check it out. "Larry" put the tar on what he thought it was a leak but it wasn't. The pipe was good and did not need to be replaced. Hubby found the hole where the leak is. He decided to fix the leak himself, watching YouTube videos and he did.

The gutter guys came out and said that they would have to replace ALL the gutters. Yeah, even the good ones and it would be $1k. No thank you. Hubby was able to fix the leak on the roof by watching YouTube videos. He says he will fix the gutter himself too. I would NOT suggest Findlay Roofing to anyone after our experience. I wonder if Clark Howard got paid or has a partnership to advertise them. 69/2018

A pleasure to work with Findlay. I completely trusted their advise, honesty and quality. Very easy to work with my insurance company. The crew was very knowledgeable under the supervision of Ramon.

They were quick to respond with an estimate, at a time that was convenient for me. The price was reasonable, and the communication before the job was great. Materials were delivered when promised and put where I requested.

Findlay Roofing did a great job on my roof and in a timely manner. All was handled very professionally from start to finish. I work for an Insurance company and i have dealt with a lot of roofing companies and Findlay has been the best by far.

The rating really says it all. The Findlay crew literally swarmed over our house. They obviously knew how to work together, everybody knew his/her job and the crew worked like a well-oiled machine. They uncovered some unknown problems, but they had come prepared for that contingency, and even though they had to go for more plywood, the tempo of the job never slowed.

As a property manager, I rely on contractors who are prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and whose service and pricing is competitive. Findlay Roofing meets all of my expectations. This company is A+ in my book.
