Loosing electricity is terrible nuisance to many. and even life threatening to some. Many homeowners aren't aware of the troubles of power loss until it has happened - the inability to use appliances, the spoiled food in the refrigerator, and for those who have medical conditions the trouble can be even more hazardous.

Absolutely phenomenal! I will forever use this service for all of my needs. Although the prices were a tad bit steep, their professional staff as well as efficiency makes the price well worth it. I can't say enough about the front desk staff. Ashley has been a positive and cheerful pleasure. She has given me so much patience and care through a very stressful situation. Mark, Cody, Ricky, and Alfonso communicated EVERYTHING to me and made me feel so at ease.
They all were so helpful and I never thought that I was being taken advantage of. I am so appreciative of their dedication to get my home back up and running. Lightning struck my home and there was over 28k worth of damage. They have all new equipment as well as timely appointments. This was well worth the investment and I would refer them to everyone. Ashley works dispatch and she even worked after hours to get us taken care of. They even arranged for us to receive portable AC units until our AC could come in. Yes, they may be more on the expensive side, but you definitely get what you pay for.

Great experience, honest, prompt response with arrival at my home within 90 minutes of service call request! Cody was friendly & professional in completing my repairs, and provided transparent assessment of current & future needs for my residential HVAC. Simon who scheduled the service call was also great, a text and email was sent with Cody's photo on who to expect, along with brief bio. I am very satisfied and signed up for the monthly program for future HVAC & plumbing needs, great job Universal Home Experts!

Alfonso with Universal Home Experts was OUTSTANDING! Friendly and listened to our concerns. Very professional and punctual. He needed parts which he went and picked up and returned to complete the job. Very knowledgeable. If we need any electrical services in the future, we plan to request Alfonso again! The business is very professional and the technician, Wallis was wonderful! From the moment I called in, the scheduler let me know exactly what to expect. They texted me a picture of the technician before he arrived so I would know who he was when I opened the door. They sent him out the same day, he examined our electrical set up to see if there was any problems we were not aware of. Unfortunately, their pricing was more than we wanted to do and we didn't end up using their services.

We keep coming back to Universal for home repairs because they're easy to schedule, on time, thorough and honest. The techs have all been very courteous and nice. We have had our whole house electric done, new/replacement HVAC and ducting as well as small things like checking an outlet that stopped working. Most recently they did a repair on a prior wire splice that affected the furnace. This is a great company to work with.

This review comes as an after thought about the experience and series of circumstances that lead me to feel disappointed and distrustful of Universal Home Experts. I called Universal Home Experts as my surge protector was burnt out and my AC unit was dead. After a test was done, the technician stated that I had underground wire issues. The project was bid over $8,000.
I was advised that major appliances life span would be reduced, show damage, or 'die' due to the underground wire issue. It was nerve-wrecking to hear long-term effects of not being able to 'take care of the electrical' might lead to more expenditures. So, I decided to move on it. After the crew completed, there were materials left over the span of my yard.
I picked up what I found and piled it up. There was a box attached to the wall previously - it was left hanging and detached from the exterior wall. I found this to be an aspect of unprofessionalism. When the project was signed off and considered complete, I was told I would not have any more issues with flickering lights. The day following I noticed the lights in my home continue to flicker.
There was on-going back and forth between myself and Universal Home Experts to support in 'fixing' items that 'should' have been fixed (after paying the lump sum that I did). After a few weeks of going back and forth, I was told I would need a Circuit Restoration and it would run somewhere along $11,900 for a total 9 circuit breakers in my panel. After hearing that, I decided to contact another electrician that was referred to me.
I am glad I did. What I discovered was not something that would fix my issues but certainly put to rest the feeling of being wronged. What the electrician found was the cable from the breaker to the main did NOT match the amps installed in the breaker box. How does a technician that sold me the project return with a cable that does NOT match the main breaker sold?
How does this get overlooked the entire length of the project? Is it oversight - a simple mistake? Had this not been caught, it would cost ME 'thousands' more to fix later. In the end, there were discussions of making this experience 'right' and while there has been efforts to make it right, I don't feel resolved. Overall, what I learned is to never take one bid. If you think you're spending too much money, you probably are.
