Outside of Jeff's 30 minute sales visit in March 2021, the communication, scheduling process, workmanship, and overall experience has been disappointing. It is now June 2022, a little over a year into this process, and we have no idea when the pool will be completed. This is a rectangle pool, with a spa and pool cover. The most frustrating part of working with Wildwood is that there is no timeline, no production schedule.
Each project is at the mercy of an ever changing scheduling strategy from a voice in the office we have never met before. I'm not sure WHO is actually running our job-Bill, Jimmy, or Rueben? Sometimes they show up when they say they are, sometimes they don't. They work for 2 days, then don't come back for a month or more. The communication with the front office, sales and bookkeeping staff has been disconnected too.
We pre paid some of our contract. The front office decided to hold these checks, not apply these payments to our balance, didn't tell us, or their own bookkeepers, which then created confusion, incorrect invoices, and wasted time for everyone. During the permit process, we nagged Wildwood weekly as to the status of our permit with county. Ultimately, our permit had been approved for a month and Wildwood didn't catch it.
We pulled the information from the county website ourselves and let them know. While in the showroom selecting our tile and coping in April, we asked about the additional cost of adding blue fleck to the pool plaster- no follow up. We have since sent subsequent texts and emails asking for this additional cost- no response. This company is in need of a shake up from top to bottom.

My family and I just sold our previous home with a pool and moved into a brand new Granville home. Our last builder was no longer in business so we looked at Granville's list of recommended builders. Being that Wildwood made Granville's list, we were assured they would be a quality and professional company. We explained to them that we wanted a pool completed in time for our kids to enjoy the 2nd half of summer in their new home.
We also had crucial timelines to adhere to with construction finishing up on the home next to ours. With all that being said, Wildwood delivered on every aspect of the build from start to finish. My family and I are very happy with our pool and would not hesitate to recommend Wildwood Pools to anyone interested in a pool and would go through this process again with them if the need arises. We decided to go with Wildwood because of Greg's professionalism. The design was great but overpriced. Prior to excavation we expanded the pool size which turned out to be a disaster. He couldn't keep up with the invoice and we kept being overcharged. The plumber made some mistakes and he tried having us foot the bill. Concrete contractor came out and tried billing us on site because Greg forgot to add the changes due to the expansion. Poured the wrong concrete and had to remove it.
Our project started in October we are now April and paying on a hole in our backyard. Wildwood refuses to finish the project until we purchase fence material because they took it down and claim it's not in good condition to put back up. No where in our contract does it say we need material to put up a fence. Extremely disappointed with the entire process. Save money and headaches babysitting all of the subcontractors, don't go with Wildwood.

My spa side button that activates my blower wore out so I contacted Patty in service and she was very helpful, polite and communication was awesome! She ordered the necessary parts and once they arrived Jason the tech came out right as scheduled and completed the install and was extremely friendly and professional. I've used Wildwood for years and always had a phenomenal experience with them. Thank you Wildwood staff!

Wildwood did an amazing job installing our pool in 2013. We've really enjoyed it, and felt they were great at communicating and answering our questions. After nearly 6 years of use, a rust spot formed in the plaster and it turned out to be caused by some rebar under the plaster. Wildwood was amazing, and although the pool is out of warranty, they drained the pool and repaired the spot without charge. We're very happy with them, and highly recommend them to anyone.

We had a pool installed by Wildwood. They are extremely difficult to work and have horrible customer service. The pool is very beautiful, but we will never work with them again. Our expensive pool equipment stopped working and we called them to hire them to fix it. The never set an appointment, they just show up when we are at work and then say it isn't their fault the expensive repair didn't work because they couldn't get into the house when they did the repair.
The repair man is knowledgeable, but extremely arrogant and very hard to work with. We spent $3000 on the repair and it still doesn't work. We flushed the $3000 and will have to find someone else to work with. $3000 is a lot of money to us and it was a complete waste and we were treated poorly during the process. This is the first negative review we have ever given anyone or any company. We would give zero stars if that was possible.

We had a pool put in buy them several years ago. We were told that Wildwood was the premiere pool company in the valley, so we went with them even though they were a bit more expensive. Our pool looks very pretty, but that is about it. We have had nothing but problems with them from the begging. There were many things installed incorrectly, piping done wrong.
Our lighting system has never worked and they pass it off to another company to fix the issue out of Sacramento. It still has never been fixed. We have a pool and spa connected to one another. The pumping system constantly is not working correctly. We have had to ask them to come out numerous times to fix issues. Also, while they were doing the install, they hit our house with a tractor and broke an entire section of wall off. We had to go back and fourth with them numerous times until they finally sent someone out to fix our home. Overall, we paid more and seem to have received very poor service.

Our pool service has been okay in the past, however when our pool started turning green we asked our pool guy how come it was looking so bad. he told us that we needed to turn out filter on for a longer time and that would fix it. Our frustration gained momentum after about a month of "swamp pool" until we had to ask a family member who had a retired pool company owner as a friend.
Right away he asked us, if we had backwashed and cleaned our filters.we told him that our pool guy had backwashed the filter a few weeks prior, however never mentioned anything about cleaning the actual filter its self. He was blown away that our pool guy never mentioned anything about that. He offered to come to the house and do it for us. After taking the filter out we saw how much green, gunky, buildup had been in there and it became obvious why our pool wasn't getting clean.
Our friend cleaned it once and told us to keep the filter on 24hrs until it got better looking and then he's do it all over once again. Five days and two filter cleanings later, we had our immaculate looking pool back. Since then, we've had zero problems keeping our pool clean. Our pool guy obviously thinks due to his advise our pool is clean, but honestly I can't even bring myself to discuss with him how he overlooked our simple problem.
Maybe I'm expecting too much from our pool company, but I feel that with the money we pay for our service I shouldn't have to look at a green pool for a month and use outside resources to solve the problem.
