Orlando Painting

I hired this company to paint my kitchen, living room, dining room, and hallway. They were courteous when their was a misunderstanding about timing between them and my kitchen contractors, and my contractors painted the kitchen on their own. The team that painted my other rooms did an outstanding job. They worked neatly and cleanly, and watching them work was something to see. The price was reasonable as well. I will be using them for future paint projects for sure.

I want to preface this review by saying that I am a perfectionist. I see every minute detail and flaw. Orlando Painting Company painted our entire house including cabinets. I too went with the company even though they were the most expensive out of the 3 quotes that we received. The crew was always on time and stayed the entire day, part of the crew even working on Saturday.

The team that did our cabinets was absolutely amazing. We feel like if that team was not there, we would have had a completely different experience. The cabinet team's (husband and wife) attention to detail was like my own. They noticed every flaw, made each other check their work to make sure they didn't miss anything, and made sure we were completely satisfied with the job.

The other team was also very nice and friendly but they missed a lot around the house and the cleanup on our end was dreadful. My husband and I spent days scraping paint off of outlets that were never covered, touching up paint along edges and corners that was missed (previous color was bright blue - hard to miss), touching up paint along the edges and underneath outlet covers and light switch covers that were never taken off, and scraping paint off our hardwood floors and along our baseboards with a razor blade!

If I had know we were going to have so much effort in clean up I would have just painted the walls and baseboards myself. Very disappointed in the little effort to make sure the floors were covered, clean, and everything was painted. The poor cabinet team spent most of their last day touching up walls, repainting closets, and painting trim that was all missed by the larger team. I would 110% hire the husband and wife again from Orlando Painting company if possible. Honestly their work was amazing and just genuine and kind people.

UPDATE: 2.4.22. My Mom is happy with work performed by Joey and Terry and I am as well. But I'm not happy with the color because we wanted a more camel brown and it's a rusty brown. My Mom loves it but I do not. Stop trying to assuage people into changing the color that they want. And don't show up on site asking for more money to the top when you knew from the get-go that the front of the house was to be painted.

We ended up not paying the extra money and it still looks good. Guys were fun and took a lot of care in their work and paid attention to detail and asked important questions. I do recommend but just note my call outs. Owner never checked on the job and it was pricey but again you get what you pay for. ~ This job is not finished yet in fact it's underway. Patricia has not been as responsive as I had hoped she would be.

My Mom wanted to go darker but Patricia talked her out of it. It looks too caramel-ish and I see other reviewers blaming themselves too although it's not their fault. As another reviewer states, Patricia is also trying to get more money on-site after it's been pressure washed and job is started. I will update this post once the job is completed. It's going to go one way or another but no one will take advantage of my Mom. TBC.

Step up your game OPC and stop with the price gouging on premises as I witnessed today and make sure this job comes out A+. Will crosspost. Hoping to have a better outlook for everyone involved!

I want to start by saying that the overall quality of the paint job lived up to my expectations and looks very good. The reason I am writing a review is because of the experience we had with the owner of the company. From the start, quote process was great. We discussed expectations, potential colors, scope, etc. We decided to choose Orlando Painting Company over 3 other companies despite being the highest prices but based on the initial customer service and the fact that it felt right.

The work was going well until the last day of the project. We discussed the front porch area during the quote process and were ensured this was going to be included in the quote. (While it was not explicitly stated in the quote, I felt good about the process.) On the last day of the project, the paint team mentioned to me that it would cost an additional $300 to paint out porch area which was a shock to me based on the fact that we discussed this during the quote process.

While an additional $300 on a $5k plus job is not that big of a deal, its the principle of it. We reached out to the owner several times to state our case and were basically told "tough luck, it wasn't on the quote." My fault on that, but it really shows a lack of integrity from the owner of this company, no professionalism, and zero customer service skills.

The sales person admitted to offering this and the owner of the company clearly failed to honor their word. For this reason, I will never use them again and will never recommend them for anyone else to use.

We just had our house painted and chose this company because they quoted us $1,000 less than their competitors. I was a little nervous because typically "ya get what ya pay for" but since they had such great reviews we took a chance. We seriously couldn't be happier! The crew was super professional, thorough, and even took care of my pickiness with a willing spirit! Professional, honest, and polite - gets my vote every time!

I had my home painted by Orlando Painting Company after several of my neighbors had their homes done by them in University Estates. I was very pleased with the responsiveness of getting the quote after my initial call, the quote itself and the painting process. Fast forward now 7 years and I have decided to change the color of my house after having pavers, a new roof and windows installed over the past 2 years. I will be calling Patrick for painting service again!

Poor customer service and being made to feel we are unworthy of one's services were not what I was expecting right off the bat with all of the high ratings. We are soon to be first time homeowners and put in requests to about 5 reputable vendors, including Orlando Painting, asking for a possible quote for several spaces in our home we are preparing to purchase.

Keep in mind we are not totally sure of how this process works with paint estimates. We figured most vendors have to physically see the home before giving an official home but we just wanted a ball park of what it could possibly be with the potential to change. Additionally, because we already had a color in mind we also inquired it being a labor only job if they would allow it. ALL OTHER VENDORS took the time to contact me and walk me through their minimum standards.

Most told us they would give us a rough figure from the photos we provided but not an official quote until they could see the home. Regarding paint most vendors politely told me that they would need to provide the paint. Both of which we were absolutely fine with. But this vendors response (which I have photos of) suggested they had minimum requirements and we should just seek out a small local paint company instead.

We are not one to blast negative reviews, but this left us feeling like we were unworthy of the service because we were too cheap or could not afford the service, which wasn't the case, we just weren't sure of what could be done at this time. As excited first time homebuyers this experience was just upsetting. We will go ahead and take Patrick's advice by having A+ Painting or CertaPro Painting do the job, both with equally high reviews and the customer service to back them up.

What an exceptional company to work with. Patrick is a true professional in this industry and genuinely cares about his customers. Pat and his crew took care of our needs and were very meticulous in ensuring our satisfaction. We couldn't be happier with everything! Patrick and his crew did an outstanding job. He was very communicative from the start, fair price and his team, led by Chris, provided a top quality service. Patrick was on site and the team was there every day until the job was done. Not only would I use them again but recommended them to family.

Patrick and his team did such a great job many years ago with painting the exterior of our house that we hired them to paint our house again. They did a fantastic job. The price is very reasonable, they use quality paint, and they were able to work with our schedule. Will definitely call them again with any future painting needs.

Patrick and his team went above and beyond and did a great job on the exterior paint job of our home. My Husband and I were having problems choosing the colors so Patrick sent someone out to do a color consultation which was included. We are so glad he did because the colors that were recommended are perfect for us and exactly what we had in mind.

The Orlando Painting Company crew was professional, thorough, and did a great job delivering every single part of the house painting service. The pressure washing covered every inch of the home, and after 10 years of wear-and-tear they found and sealed cracks I would have had a hard time spotting with a magnifying glass. We changed our house colors from a dark-to-light variant, and the crew made sure that every part of the house matched the new lighter-shade. Very happy with the service and would recommend to any resident needing their home painted to withstand the test of time.

**Excellent Company** The first thing was they know stucco and the chemicals in it and discovered defects in ours. Our pH was bad so they corrected it and then came to pressure wash. That in itself was amazing, what a change!
