My entire experience with John Lock Heating and A/C was fantastic from start to finish. The estimate process from Mike was honest and straight forward. He made solid recommendations in the replacement of my furnace and air conditioning and explained the process clearly. He didn't try to oversell me equipment I didn't need. Pricing was competitive.
The receptionists on the phone are also very friendly. On installation day, Paul, the head foreman, and his crew were pleasant and highly professional. They were competent, knowledgeable and efficient. Again, they explained the installation process and all 3 installers were neat and meticulous. My previous units were installed by them--the A/C as long as 34 years ago.
Amazing they lasted that long. What's more is that most of the employees have been working for the company for at least a decade--some for over 30 years. That says a lot about the company. I couldn't be happier with my new Lennox furnace and A/C from John Lock, and I highway recommend them.

Scheduled an appointment for service, for a week and a half after our call. We were told between 9 - 12 someone would be at our house. There was not a call to confirm and no shorter time window given as we got closer to the appointment. So we planned our day to be home and available for those 3 hours. NO ONE SHOWED, NOR CALLED. I had to call at 12:45 and ask why no one had showed, then I was told that our appointment was for after 12.
Which was NOT what we were told when we scheduled the appointment. We were told the tech was stuck on a job and may not be done until 4pm. We were not given a call to tell us that the tech may not make it for the after 12pm appointment they claim that we had either. I understand that issues come up, that is not a problem. But to leave people waiting and then say, "that is just a part of it" when a customer calls annoyed is not good customer service.
I also understand that the current times are challenging to companies. I would have rescheduled my appointment, no problem, if I was at least given a phone call before waiting around for someone who was clearly not making it to my house for an appointment. Clear communication is important for good business. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

From the first sales quote through installation the team at John Lock has been outstanding. We received 4 quotes before making a decision and not only was John Lock's quote significantly less, Chris in sales put the most effort into formulating his quote. He walked through our entire house, listening to questions and concerns we had from our old heating system and developed two different levels of options to go for.
He was never pushy, or trying to oversell. He took phone calls for multiple questions I had before deciding to go with them. When installation day came, Paul's team was punctual, polite and clean. They laid down cardboard to make sure their shoes didn't get mud on our hall floor. Paul took the time to explain everything from national fuel rebate and warranty to again going through each room to optimize airflow and performance. I would highly recommend the team at John Lock. I think I got a fair price for the installation of a new furnace. Everyone that I interacted with from the first phone call up until installation was knowledgeable, professional, respectful and just plain nice. The installers went above and beyond in their work and took time to explain everything I needed to know.

Outstanding professionalism & courtesy demonstrated by Paul, Mike & Andy. They arrived at the designated time, installed the equipment, explained the operations of the thermostat & left the basement very tidy & disposed of all old equipment & boxes & parts. John Lock doesn't care about small residential business. I contacted them to service my home AC, they took my information and said they would call me to set up an appointment. I never heard from them so I called back when it got warmer outside, they had forgotten about me and said they would call me back later that day and they never did. I will not use or recommend this business.

Wow with a capital W! Today John Lock installed a split system AC unit at our home and what a super job! First thing is the rolled out the tarp for walking and fallen debris. I cannot express how nice it feels to know that this local business KNOWS their professional trade! Each team member is professional in appearance; professional in knowledge and experience; and most importantly - respectful and friendly. We've had one other company years ago and besides having questionable work ethics, not sure if the technician had the experience and knowledge to swing a wrench.
Basically that company was dismissed and replaced by a company that knows their 'stuff'. John Lock Heating! There is more I can say but I think you get the message that you do not need to look further. JOHN LOCK can become your one stop shop. Give them a call or visit their location. It's a family run business with skills that deem each employee as Master Craftsman.

This company USED to be good. I am disabled and our lennox furnace kept going out and these idiots couldn't figure out the problem after three service calls. they then said they would call lennox, and never did. now they want me to pay the service charge for something they NEVER FIXED! the service guy was like barely 21 and obviously unexperienced. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Thanks to the Gentleman who put in my new furnace today. It is nice and toasty warm and he was awesome! He even shoveled my porch for me and everything was taken care of just as I got home. He explained to me how it works and even offered up some good suggestions when I mentioned my nephew is just starting to toddle. Your lucky to have such a good guy on your team! Thank you so much!

This place is downright awful. I called yesterday because my heater was giving off an awful toxic smell. So the guy gets here and literally accidently breaks a fan to our inducer and claims that was the problem. Well as soon as he left our heater was not working at all and had to sleep with NO HEAT. I was not calling back because of the lack I. seen.
So I called another place today had them come fix it and it turned out to be my motor run capacitor and alot of collected dust in a vent. Not saying my furnace isn't old and could use a new one but what place would leave you without heat. paid 250 for fix today and paid john lock 100 bucks to do nothing but break my inducer. Also called and complained today and THE OWNER told me I was dumb and didn't know anything about a heater.

It isn't commonplace to find a service company that doesn't rip you off. This is one of them! Our furnace started making a very scary sound and stopped working. Jerry found it to only be a nut that had worked it's way off! Any other company would have charged us $600 for a new unit. He cleaned our furnace (found out that we had filter in wrong way) and noted on our furnace the correct way to install filters in the future. We would never use anyone else!

Prompt and friendly service. My furnace stopped working the other day, just as it started getting very cold. They had a technician here by 9:30am, and we are back up and running an hour later. My pets are happy now that we're all warm and toasty again. Just some routine maintenance. Gave us some coupons too if we need additional services in the future.

I had John Lock put in a stand by generator at my home a few years ago. I've had a considerable amount of problems with it. When I called John Lock, I was told that they only repair or replace the battery and they don't do repair work! I have to call another company that works on generators. Expect a call right back from the owner when he's selling you something, do not ever expect a call back from him thereafter.
I would never do business with John Lock again, ever! Had they been honest and told me they didn't service the generators that they sold, I would have never spent $7000. with them. Don't make the same mistake I did!
