Amazing Gates

I've been bounced back and forth with the solar package that cost me nearly $4,000 as far as customer service/sales/tech support. Turns out one of my batteries is not taking a charge and guess what? The two year warranty does not cover the two deep cycle marine batteries that cost $250-$400 EACH on ebay. I expected to have a fully functional gate system for this kind of money (~$4,000) but instead I am stuck with a gate that we must manually open and close twice per day times two vehicles. Amazingly lame gates should be the name of this company.

I'd expect this kind of debauchery on ebay for a $30 item. I was forced to purchase a transformer to run the system on my own household power which was gladly sold to me by amazingly lame gates. Responses by the company have been absolutely non-supportive to the exact nature of my questions over and over. Sales tells me to contact tech support and tech support tells me to contact sales. Deep-cycle disappointment. Update: I added an additional 30 watt solar panel so now have a total of 50 watts solar running the operator.

The operator arm accumulated ice and destroyed the seal to the gearmotor. Water has entered the gearmotor and it's now squeaking. This product was made for hot zones only, buyer beware. Following the post-setting instructions to the letter led to a sagging post and the gate is now out of level and out of adjustment. Worst $3,700 I ever spent for sure.

I needed a side pedestrian gate for stucco/cinder wall to my back yard. Shopped around and got quotes from contractors that were $1500-$2000 for a 3' gate, so I decided to DIY it. Amazing Gates got me a nice steel gate powder coated black for $500 (in stock no less) plus another $100 for miscellaneous parts. I bought D&D hinges from AG that ended up not working. AG took them back no issues and refunded me. I'm super happy with the service and help AG gave me on my project.

Amazing Integrity and Customer Service is what I privately call this company. They walk the walk when it comes to working with businesses and homeowners. Also nice to know it is made in the U.S.

We tried calling multiple times and then we went into the store (a hour and a half drive for us). The manager greeted us and took our information for the sales person. The sales person called that Saturday and said they would have a quote out to us on the next Monday. So here we are 10 days later and no word from them. Can you imagine what it would be like if we had actually given our money to them?

An excellent company, Amazing Gates. We purchased two Concord 14 foot single gates and some fence panels. They were very patient with me having to deal with complications and.delays with an HOA. Bought a Polaris gate never worked properly even after changing $1000 worth of parts

"Amazing" customer support. My first order arrived with one of the gate panels warped. I contacted Amazing Gates, explained the issue, they apologized and promptly shipped me a replacement. Look forward to purchasing from them in the future.

I don't typically write reviews but I have to say my experience with Amazing Gates was an amazing experience from start to finish. I purchased two 10ft bi-fold gates and all hardware for installation. I was a little concerned doing business not knowing much other than their website. I actually found Amazing gates on google. But a check showed how long they had been in business.

I live in Texas and the shipment was great. Amazing Gates were there for me with technical expertise and all along the way answered all of my questions. I installed over the Christmas holidays and it took about 3-4 8 hour days to get everything installed including the gate openers. I have had many compliments from neighbors and family. I definitely will do business with Amazing Gates again. Thank you Amazing Gates for saving me money and for a great customer experience.

I have had my gate system for almost six years and cannot say enough good things about this company and their products. I have a Polaris system, which is discontinued now. Every time I have called technical services, someone answers immediately or calls back right away. That 'Someone' is Gene Johnson and he is a gem. That man has so much patience and knowledge.definitely an asset to his company. When my Polaris systems kicks the bucket, you can believe I will call Amazing Gates.

Beautiful GATE & wonderful customer service! My husband rarely completes the projects that he starts, but amazingly, with the help of the Amazing Gates customer staff & their excellent products : swing gate, polaris gate opener, solar kit & gate sensors, he got the job done & it looks REALLY, REALLY good: they really live up to their name: AMAZING GATES. I posted pic of the gate when it was just about completed, I'll post the final result soon.

The owner of amazing gates is a real honest gentleman. And has been around for over 35 years, the gates are amazing

My company builds custom homes in Durango, Colorado. We have used amazing gates for railing and fencing on several projects in the last year. The product is beautiful, affordable, and easy to install. The customer service was very good when we had any questions about installing. I would highly recommend amazing gates!

I have one gate that has been in operation since 2008 and yes I had a few problems after about 7 years. But their tech support was great with helping me find the problem and getting it corrected with not problems since then. I have ordered the second gate and it will be delivered on Friday 3-29 to go on a place that I just purchased. Yes I always. talk to Mr Jim and he is a great guy and always willing to help you with deciding which gate will work best for your situation.

The shipping department works with you to get you gate and other material delivered to you at a time that is convent for you. The tech service is outstanding with helping you with any wiring or programing problems when installing your gate as well as any problems after years of service with gate. I recommend Amazing Gates of America to anyone wanting an entrance gate.

We started this project of getting new gates over a year ago and have had mutiple meetings about issues since. It's 12:05am and luckily someone notified us that our gate was open. Just finished driving from home to our office to close our "Amazing Gates" Update 6/25/2018: We are now reaching out to other vendors to fix our issues after repeated phone calls to both Amazing Gates and the contractor that handles installs for them.

The Gate is great, the Polaris opener is not. I have owned my combination for 2 years and 2 months. I have had to send the opener back once to be repaired (I had to pay $60 shipping )and I have had to trouble shoot it at least once a month. Gene in tech support is helpful and friendly and has been able to help with the troubleshooting. I expect, . after spending that amount of money for the thing to work, trouble free.

I am two months out of warranty and the charge circuit went bad. In doing so, it messed with the motor. Long story short, they said it was a power surge or something else as they have had these in the field for 7 years without issue. They sent me an auxiliary charge board "so I didn't have to replace the $400 main board" after charging me for it AND shipping.

I was able to repair the motor rather than pay for shipping and repair costs. I am not a satisfied customer and I am seriously considering replacing the opener with a different brand if it continues to malfunction. The people are nice, and the gate itself seems to be high quality, but beware the openers.

We are very pleased with our gate. We get so many compliments on how well it looks on our property. We installed the gate ourselves. Made a few customer service calls for help and was very pleased with the customer service we received with all of our questions. In looking for our gate we searched the internet and are so happy that we found Amazing Gates.

Seems to be a pretty good company. They provide good instruction and affordable pricing for the do it your self kind of folks. I recommend buying the higher end products they offer such as Viking Openers. As a gate installer and technician my self, Ive seen there product in the field. From what Ive seen so far, they use light weight materials for. use of light weight automation equipment.

Also Ive noticed that there tech support department may take a while to call you back, however they are very helpful. When it comes to buying a gate system, this is one of the items in life where you get what you pay for, as long as you are dealing with a legitimate company.

Good service, good gate. Great prices. Even by the seaside where everything rusts. not rust on the gate. The 2 brackets (to attach opener) rust but they are small and easily painted once a year with rust resistant paint.

Been a long job but wife & I did everything ourselves except laying foundation block and bricks.which slows us down I am very very happy with the results. People actually stop on the road to tell me how nice the project looks. Feedback for your benefit: Packaging.super excellent. Hi Jim and everyone, Thank you so much for helping me to get our gates up and running. Here they are (see the attachment pictures). From the beginning, my wife said NO, that I could not do it (due to my polio on both of my legs). But, having reading the manual and see the video from the Amazing Gates website, there is nothing to it. It's truly amazing DIY gate.

Amazing Gates is simply that --- AMAZING! Their customer service is outstanding and their staff is always friendly and inviting. I have never felt rushed or that I was bothersome when asking questions. So happy and satisfied we bought our gate here because I know I bought from a company that backs their products.
