This is not a review, this is a suggestion. after reading the reviews left here I felt compelled to offer some good advise, tomorrow july 15th 2020 you're installing about 40 feet of gutters for a woman in castaic, this woman belongs to a family I've known for 45 years, I suggest you instruct your crew to do their best work at the price you quoted because your company can't afford anymore bad reviews. I'll be back to post another review after I've seen your work,

Rain Away installed gutters on the entire perimeter of the house yesterday. We had worried that gutters in the front would make for bad aesthetics, especially since we had the house painted just last week and loved the look of the fascia boards (We hadn't had gutters in the front before). We needn't have worried. The color matches beautifully with the dark fascia boards (and the downspouts with the light stucco), so there's nothing jarring about the effect -- everything blends in.
The gutters themselves are smooth and seamless. I had asked Gabriel if they could install a downspout in a particular place to accommodate a potted ficus tree, and he said it wouldn't be a problem. And it wasn't! He and his crew work with the exactitude and diligence of craftsmen and could not have been more pleasant or punctual. Thank you, Rain Away.

I meant to write this review about a week ago after my gutter install, here I am! Rain Away gutters was referred to me by a Sherman Oaks friend. I was pleased since my first phone call, Kyle was great and the girls in the office were friendly and efficient. I was there the day of the install and I couldn't be happier, the last thing my house needed in regards to construction.gutters look amazing. Fascia gutters is what I picked, so neat! THANK YOU RAIN AWAY GUTTERS!

I waited for the company to show up for the appointment 10:30 to 11:30, I called at 11:30 and they told me that my appt was from 12:30 to 1:30, I said it is OK I took a day off from work for this and will wait for them, they did not show up even by 1:30, I called them at 2:30 again ( 2nd call of the day ) they told me that they wrote my address incorrectly so they went to the wrong address and they are not willing to return today and wanted to reschedule.
By the way they do not pick up the phone, each time ( 2 times ) I called, I had to leave a message and they called back. very inconvenient. I lost a whole day waiting for them to show up. Follow up: The owner of the company followed up on my review and contacted me so I am adding to my review the following: I rescheduled the time for an estimate and got a detailed written estimate.
We are still considering the estimate among other estimates we got. In reply to your comment: Your office wrote my address incorrectly, it has nothing to do with my accent, do not use it as an excuse. I always communicate clearly.

Jim did a great job on our gutters, color is great, and my husband said they did the miters properly, which was the reason we chose them. He made them on-site instead of sticking on the pre-fab miters. Great job, would use them again! (My husband is in the sheet metal biz and has high standards! I was happy that HE was happy!)

I had Raingutters by RainAway installed last year. Installation was uneventful and they looked nice. Since I am not always at this location I didn't know until Jan 14th 2019 when the rains came that the downspout next to the master bedroom headboard pings like freaking bongo drums when it rains. I called. I emailed. I tried the ole sponge in the downspout trick. no luck.
After 14 emails for 4 weeks I got a call from Kyle. Trying to call him back the office voicemail was FULL.That is never a good sign. He called me back again saying it must be my fault. Dirty gutters. It's where I told them to put it etc etc etc. He was antagonistic. He finally said he'd send someone out the next week. In the meantime I could not sleep in my bedroom because of the noise. It's been raining a lot for the last 4 weeks.
His crew boss called me yesterday and said the same song and dance. I finally blew up. He was so rude to me. Said they would have to charge me to relocate. Finally said he'd come today. He did. Crabby guy wants to know what I want him to do. Fix it?!?!? The actual working crew was a couple of really nice Hispanic fellows. The older smiley one said he had done the original install.
He didn't argue just got on the roof and checked things out. After he adjusted a few things I asked the crew boss to run water in the gutter to test for pings. He refused and said they wouldn't be able to replicate it without rain. WTF! My neighbor had been over the day before and did exactly that to hear the noise. At that point I knew I had to solve this myself.
I asked the nice worker to remove the downspout and connect a short diverter section of the gutter off the roofline to shoot out the water to the side of the house sloped for drainage. The boss argued and argued. I explained no one would be standing there in the rain. It wasn't a problem. He kept arguing. I asked the smiley nice guy if he thought it was a good fix.
He said he wasn't the boss. I told him the boss wasn't doing the work, he was, and I valued his opinion. He agreed it would be a workable solution to insuring no more pinging. When asked, the boss said they would remove the downspout and patch the holes from the bolts with silicone. I went inside and they left without saying goodbye or apologizing in any way. I would like to thank the nice worker who fixed the problem. I can finally sleep in my bed when it rains again. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS.

I am so happy I chose to go with Rain away. They showed up when they said they would and provided many ideas for a great gutter system. When the installation guys showed up, they were very nice and professional. When they left you couldn't tell they were ever there, except for the clean new gutters. Thank you!

They replaced a section of gutter that had separated at a seam. They installed 14' of 5 aluminum gutter (color matched to our existing gutters). They also cleaned out the existing gutter that runs the entire length of the back of the house. They also restrapped a down spout. This was a good experience from start to finish.

They did gutters for my house and were totally professional. They were friendly, courteous, and gave a competitive bid They arrived on time and did great work. I had been having flooding issues in my garage and on patio. After they installed gutters I had no more problems. They get my highest recommendation.

I have never reviewed before but I have so many regrets about hiring this company that I felt compelled to warn people about my experience. On average they were between three and four hours late during the multiple times they had to come because of all the fixes that they had to do on their own work. Over caulking. Sloppy cutting. Constant lateness. They got my driveway totally dirty. Left bolts and rivets everywhere. Worst experience ever. Consider yourself warned.

Did a great job on the gutters, but after it rained heavily two weeks ago, it became obvious that it needed some tweaking. Called them a week ago to schedule an appt to fix this and have not gotten a date. It will stay three stars until they fix it because the way a company stands by its work matters to me.

This was a very small job, 28 feet of gutter for a patio cover. All the other companies I called would have a good price but then say they had minimum job price which was double the estimate. It seemed my job was too small for them to be bothered. When I called Rain Away they had no minimum. We scheduled an appointment and sure enough the price was half the other companies.

With 'Godzilla El Nino' predicted all these Rain Gutter companies are overwhelmed. I called 4 companies and Jim ended up being a man of his word. He got his crew out to my house on a Sunday. Everybody else gave me an install date 3 months out. Didn't double his price like these other companies. Good quality work too.

Rain Away installed rain gutters on my home in Huntington Beach last year. They were so profesional, fast, and the work was impeccable. I had no idea that rain gutters would literally add so much style and a beautiful aesthetic impact to my home. And when the rains eventually came, I was so grateful that the gutters actually worked perfectly to protect the areas that had been damaged prior to installation.
I would recommend the company to anyone wanting quality rain gutters that not only protect your home from intrusive water damage, but for the pleasing appearance that inevitably adds value to your home. Rain Away is number 1 in my book. :

I called them out to fix some gutters around a friends office building, they sent out a guy to look at the job and give me a price, the next week they came out and did a very professional install even though the place was big building, they even changed some bulbs in some high light fixtures. Couldn't be happier with their service! I've also had them do some work at my house, fixing rain gutters and replacing broken ones. Would definitely use again! Thank you!

Disappointed. That's the only word that I can use to describe the last two weeks, trying to work with Rain-Away. Disappointed because we had a twelve-year history of on-time, workmanlike response from them. Disappointed because, since being told two weeks ago that we would have installation done, it's been one excuse after another. First, it's "We'll be there in the morning".
Next morning, 9:15 am, I call. "We'll be there in 15 minutes". I'm home in 12 minutes. Nobody shows. I call. "We came already", they say. Yeah, right. That explains why my gutters are still overflowing. "We'll come back tomorrow". Tomorrow comes. Nothing. I call. Gabriel answers, "We may come later". Conversation heard in the background: "It's not gonna rain for a week, what's the big deal?" Finally: "OK, Saturday morning".
Guess what happens Saturday? Nothing. Now we're getting a iittle past disappointment here. Called and left a message for Jim, the owner. I thought he needed to know how his company is doing. No response, but 2 days later Kyle comes and gives a very competent assessment of our gutter needs and a proposal of what to do. OK, once burned, twice shy, but I''m trying to be unbiased here. "We'll get to it before it rains".
Fast forward to 2 days later. Heavy rain predicted that evening., We've heard nothing. I'm getting concerned. I call. "We're not coming today, call tomorrow. We'll have to see". Tomorrow comes. Got a downpour as promised. No show. I call. "We're doing the best we can. We'll see". I'm getting a pretty clear picture by now (finally). Two days later, we get a call, "We'll be there at 9am tomorrow". Wanna bet? No show. No call. Nothing. Disappointed. Yes. Had enough? Yes.

Had a 2:00 PM appointment to have one their guys come to my home and give me an estimate. I left work so that I could meet them at that time. 2:20 PM and still no one shows up. So I call to see what's going on and I get "we're running late.do you want to reschedule?" No apology. No phone call letting me know they will be late. Nothing. Just a rude voice at the other end of the phone who could really care less. If this is how they treat new clients I can't imagine how they treat you once they get your business. No thanks
