SCS Hardwood Floors

We are very pleased with the finished product of hardwood flooring in 4 of our rooms. Larry did a wonderful job of overseeing the project. Frankie did a superior job in the installation of the wood. Alex was great in the sanding, staining, sealing, and finishing of the floors. Everyone at SCS went out of their way to please us. Thank you, SCS for a beautful job.

We had SCS install new Hardwood flooring. They did a great job, prompt, courteous and Thorough. I would rate them a 5 for the installation. Frankie and his team were Great. Over the last 2 years the floor has had some day to day damage and I have tried for approx. 18 months to have Frankie back to repair/ replace the damage at our expense. Countless phone calls, messages to Leonard and eventually he would contact me and say they were really busy but he had me on his list. Months go by and we start over with trying to get it fixed and phone calls and still not scheduled.

In my last conversation with Leonard he acknowledged it's been over 18 months and that Frankie is really busy on a big job. I got the sense that he wanted me to go elsewhere to have it fixed after waiting this long. We felt Frankie was worth the wait. I would highly recommend SCS floors to anyone as long as you know you will get great service on the install but nothing after that.

My rating is a 5 on install and a 0 on repairs/ follow up / customer service on post install damage that you may incur. I would say if you want a great install without any future repairs to owner caused damage, use them. It's disappointing!

Stephen at SCS did a great job managing the project to meet our timelines. We installed 3/4 oak flooring in 3 bedrooms to match the flooring throughout the rest of the house. The installer and finishing team were a delight to have around the house. I would definitely recommend SCS to our friends.

I several flooring stores in town and by far SCS had the best service, biggest selection of products and best pricing. The owner Terry was very professional and helpful. He shared his knowledge about all the products to ensure I made the right selection of wood.

We went to the SCS showroom on Saturday looking to buy hardwood flooring. Terry was so rude & disrespectful, he wouldn't even help us. We asked him about the hardwood flooring we were interested in & he showed us one or two & would disappear. I would have to carry the sample wood flooring all over to ask him the price per square foot. Then he would disappear again so I would have to track him down again with a floor sample.

He disappeared again so we walked out & he said nothing. I would never ever recommend this business to anyone. He needs a refresher course on customer service. If he is the owner then his attitude & helpfulness will affect his company. He was horrible. Bought 5,000.00 of hardwood from another company on Saturday, the same day we were at his showroom.

Had my whole house done and three-quarter inch red Oak my patio glass got broken in the process I had to pay sent convicted felon's to do the work. Called them a year later about the buckle in the floor assured me they would send someone over to fix it seven months later still waiting. time they did not show up I have time dates in lists the people that worked on this floor did not let the wood acclimate unloaded from the truck and start nailing it down there's no expansion room at all around the walls worst $20,000 I have ever spent in my life. If anyone would like to see the poor workmanship let me know gladly show you.

Unfortunately we broke the sliding door by accident!. Any hardwood floor installer will tell you it does happen when your installing hardwood floors 6 inches from glass! SCS deducted the cost of repair off of Mr Morich's invoice! SCS hires great people and we stand behind all of our employees! We did an inspection of Mr Morich's hardwood floors and informed him he had water intrusion from somewhere. SCS does not warranty against any moisture damage whatsoever! SCS adheres to NOFMA and NWFA standards when installing a unfinished solid hardwood floor.

You must only acclimate a unfinished Hardwood floor after it's installed for at least 7 days before you sand it. If Mr Morich's floor is not what he believes it should be than call me at SCS Hardwood Floors and I will personally re- inspect his hardwood floor. SCS stands behind our lifetime installation warranty. SCS has been installing all types of flooring in Orlando since 1965 and we install hardwood floors right the first time. You want the best, call SCS!
